Savor - Niagara Falls Ratings and Reviews
Was the best dinner I have ever had . Small plates super good . Dinners magnificent . Deserts to die for . Rate it highest I can plus plus
Great find! This restaurant, affiliated with a culinary school, is great. Food was excellent, and the service was attentive and professional. I'd go back if ever I'm in Niagra Falls again.
Absolutely delicious meal! The dinner exceeded my expectations and I was impressed.
My wife and I ate there at the reccomendation of her parents who had been there recently on vacation. The food and service was all fantastic. My only criticism was the menu was very limited. I was in the mood for a nice steak or chop which wasn't an option. I settled on a gourmet pizza w/ fig/proscuitto/goat cheese/arugula which was very good. My wife had the beef bourginon which I tasted. It was fork tender and delicious served on polenta. We shared an appetizer of truffle fries with blue cheese which was huge and very good. We only ate about 1/2 so as not to fill up. We finished by sharing the chocolate torte (pictured) which was incredible! All this was very reasonably priced. This is the place to go for a nice dinner in the Niagara Falls area. Not touristy at all.
The Scallops were the best in a long time and the Halibut was excellent and near the Niagara Park.
Excellent service and choice of background music Delicios meal
We were at the restaurant on 10/18 and it was outstanding.
Savor was wonderful and we both enjoyed it very much. The food was excellent and the staff gave great service. We loved the local NY state wines on the list and some from the school itself.
Our table was the Chef's Table. Such a treat for this special evening with family and friends! Dinner was served in a proper relaxed flow allowing the superbly prepared meal to be enjoyed by all.
Great food for a reasonable price...the students of the Niagara Culinary Institute get an A from our palates!
Awesome place. The food was excellent. I don't think you can go wrong with whatever is ordered there. The wait staff showed just the right amount of attention. The desert topped off the meal. This place is part of the culinary art institute. We tried the deli next door and the pastry shop which are excellent. Best meal we had in Niagara Falls.
Service was exceptional and the food was amazing. Would definitely recommend this place to everyone.
The wine list by the glass needs improvement. There were only 3 choices of reds in late Sept when we were there and none matched the inexpensive but good malbecs or cabs that we often enjoy in restaurants.
Gustavo was great! Need to expand wine, beer and liquor menu!
Good food pleasant surondings good wine slow service
Booked reservation on Open Table. Was enthusiastically greeted by host, GM - FB MGR and server...from appetizers to entrees and dessert, outstanding dinner. Highly recommend and very much improved since opening. Good product.
Interesting menu, and very good presentation! Very enjoyable evening!
We loved pretty much everything about this place. It's a shame that we don't have it here.
Very good food; great service. Expand the menu and turn down the air conditioning, please!
With such high Yelp reviews, I was really looking forward to something special. The menu is limited but creative. Some of my more traditional colleagues found it limited. Universally, however, we found the food to be bland and under seasoned. Don't know if the student chefs are still learning to always taste their food before sending it out, but it ultimately resulted in an average meal.
Delicious meal, great value, definitely reccomend to all.
Savor was amazing! I made the reservation for my boyfriends 21st birthday and had an amazing time! The food was amazing, just the perfect portion of food that it filled me. The beer (apparently) was great, they even gave my boyfriend a birthday card which I thought was awesome! We both said it's the best meal we've had in a very long time! Recommended immediately to my parents and they went a few days later! Amazing!
Enjoyed our evening at Savor. The wine list was quite extensive and very good. The food was gourmet quality. The staff was attentive. Overall, a very pleasant evening.
Pizza was horrible. Waiter was dismissive when we complained.
We had friends visiting the Falls from out of town and we needed a place to eat . I looked this up on my I Phone and read the reviews ... went on open table and found we could have a seat in a half hour and was delighted. Since we had one in a wheel chair we were greeted at the door and they (all the service people) were more than gracious. Food was outstanding my only complaint would be a very small portion of soup for a fairly large price. It was worth it but I wanted more. restaurant was impeccably clean and have recommended it to our family for any time they want a great meal. My only other complaint would be to have all the service people dress professionally ... the hostess in a plaid shirt just did not fit the décor or the level of service of everyone else.. perhaps a uniform of sort would have kept the continuity of the upscale décor and the delicious food . Will be back many times.
Oven was broke ,only had 3 choices, chicken fingers, fish or burger. Got the burger asked for medium . It was well done ,even burnt. Could've been better
unique experience-run by students with international backgrounds and continental US. very interesting to talk to them while having a drink-food was very good-portions on the small side-alcohol was a bit pricey at 10.00 for a glass of wine but you are in a tourist spot.dining room was very well decorated and looks out onto the trendy old fall walkway..a gem in the heart of overpriced chain restaurants.
Had a great meal here on Friday night. Niagara is a sea of chains and dodgy looking places...but I saw good reviews of Savor here and other social media site. Gave it a chance and was not disappointed. Enjoy!
The food was good. My wife had mussels and they were only fair. They were gritty. I had the chicken and it was good and generously portioned. Creme Brûlée for dessert. The service was super and the restaurant is lovely. Good value for the money.
We loved our experience and the food. Highly recommended!!
Excellent service and food! Definitely will go back again.
Always fun to have dinner in a restaurant affiliated with a culinary institute, and Savor is no exception. The food was creative, and fun - a few slips with a smoky watermelon soup that overdid the smoke - but the market salad was extraordinary and the cioppino with salmon was terrific as well, with nice balance and very fresh ingredients. Service was attentive but a little uncertain; a bit more training on wine service and handling split bills would help. We would definitely come again, and recommend it as a bright spot on the American side of the Falls. Finish up with a walk out on the observation deck at the Falls...and the nightly fireworks.
Way better than expected on every level.
Food was very good and service was very attentive. You could tell the young chefs and staff were making an effort to please. Would gladly go back!
I went to Savor when I visited Niagara Falls (last minute reservation). The food, the setting, the service rendered and the price were wonderful. I ordered a salad, the mussel, a lobster tail and a pizza. None of them let my boyfriend and I down. The price was surprisingly cheap; YOU NEED TO PAY DOUBLE THE PRICE for the same food and services in NYC.
I would say it is a must go places in Niagara Fall especially when you want to have some real food around the Fall.
Great "sort of hidden" gem! Excellent food. Well prepared and fresh. Forget the chains in Niagara and opt for some good food. The only good meal we had on our trip.
Nice choice of entree's and very good service. Waiter was very knowledgeable but if he didn't know the answer to our questions he searched out the answer.
Best restaurant in niagara falls ny! If you are a foodie, this is the place to try! Absolutely delicious food, beautiful presentation, and good service. Happy to support this restaurant and the US side of the falls.
Savor is an awesome restaurant. Service was the best! The food was even better! I would definitely recommend a visit to this outstanding dining establishment to all those looking for a pleasant place to dine .
A gem in the heart of Niagara Falls. Affiliated with the Niagara Culinary Institute- the location, service, food and service were wonderful. We were visiting the Falls for the weekend and we truly enjoyed our meal
