Scaddabush Italian Kitchen & Bar - Square One
Our story is simple. Everything we can make fresh daily, we do. Including our hand-stretched mozzarella (made-to-order every day between 5pm & 11pm), our pasta, our signature 1/2 lb meatballs, our dough, bread and desserts.

Excellent food and service - highly recommended
We were there to celebrate a birthday. 2 of us had the chicken & shrimp, 1 the large meatball and spaghetti, 1 chicken parmesan and 1 had the spaghetti carbonara. Everything was delicious. 4 of us split a liter of wine, other had a mixed cocktail.
The homemade mozzarella is amazing! Great selections and great service!
It was a birthday dinner with friends. The food was delicious as was the wine. The server was not respectful of our time and rushed us. We had to say 3 times in 10 minutes we were not ready to order. It was not relaxing because of this. I get you want to turn the table but it was a Monday evening and no line up. It would have been better if he asked if we were in a hurry and we could have answered.
Shoutout to our waitress Trish for being so nice and friendly!!
The overall experience was positive, my only issue was the mozzarella procuitto which was a little disappointing. The mozzarella needed to be hotter and softer especially when paying a premium. Usually the mozzarella/ procuitto is excellent. Service was excellent, the staff got us to our table fast and efficiently.
For lunch with another couple and the service and food was very good
Always amazing when I come here!
The food was great and staff are very friendly and helpful! A bit noisy but the vibe was great.
Waited 55 minutes for food. Others who arrived later got served before our table. Food was served warm, but somewhat bland.
Not likely to return.
Overall, it was pretty good. The server was pleasant. It wasn't busy, so we didn't feel rushed. Two friends having lunch who hadn't seen each other in a long time and were catching up on our lives. I love the spaghetti and giant meatball, which I ordered, my friend ordered the fettuccine bolognese . The meal, while important, seemed secondary, but we both mentioned that the temperature of our meals could have been hotter and my pasta was a bit on the hard side. We didn't mention to the wait staff because we didn't want to take time away from our visit. Nice atmosphere.
Overall food is good
Our server was friendly and attentive but not overly so...she let us enjoy our reunion lunch. Portions were very large - we all had different things and found this. Perhaps a half sandwich and salad option? We found the table to be quite noisy and noticed when we were leaving that the bar actually seemed to be a quieter option.
So first, our server Trish was amazing. Knowledgeable, energetic, attentive without being overbearing. Food was great. My son's chicken fingers were actually hand breaded, not frozen. Their pizza, so good. The dough was light and fluffy. The salad I had was a little on the garlic side but still tasty. My husbands Pasta Carbonara really tasty. Cooked to perfection. Service was quick. Not a long wait at all for appetizers or in between appetizers and main. We also ordered our apps when she took our drink order. But I doubt it would've made that much of a difference. Price was average. We will go back for sure!
It was such a great time catching up. The experience was beautiful, the service was awesome, and the guests were friendly. 10/10!
Food wasn't good. I was hoping for good quality food as the price was high. I paid almost $30 for 8oz steak that looked like little square. I’ve had steak in many places and never had I have this small portion that costed me $30. Pasta was not cooked. Kale salad with grilled salmon costed me as much as steak. I would never go back to this restaurant. Very tight space. Not kids friendly at all.
The wait staff was friendly and prompt. Food was exceptional. The manager came by to great us.
Monica (I believe her name was) was awesome! Thanks for the great service!
The service was OK but you do not get good value for what you pay for
Slow service and not very accommodating for dietary restrictions. I expect to be able to go to an Italian restaurant and order a spaghetti & meatball dish but was told it wasn’t prepped so not possible.?! They have meatballs as an appetizer and have fresh spaghetti... wouldn’t it seem easy to put these two together?
The food was very good.
Came in a timely manner and food was cooked very well.
My dish was flavourful and good portion. They even offered to split my dish into two servings, so that my 6 year old and I could share. My only critique is I wish there was a "bit" more chicken in my dish.
My dish was the "Pollo Basil Penne" and I would recommend it.
Server was fantastic. Food was great. Wine list is a little over priced...$22 for a 10oz wine is a little much for a Scaddabush in Mississauga
Great service! Much better than from st location!!
Unfortunately the raptors game wasn’t playing & they didn’t have the channel ...
Jace was an outstanding server! Very pleased with her service that evening. Thank you for making our dining experience a 10/10!!! Looking forward to our next visit.
Always excellent food, the fresh mozarella is a must!
Went with my husband for dinner and next morning he had stomach issues in the morning thinking it was his chicken parmajan. Not happy to pay for bad food!
Enjoy eating here. Food is delicious, ambiance is great.
Food was mediocre at best - I had only been to this location once before and had a good experience. This time we felt very rushed by the wait staff and the food was disappointing. The manager did come over to discuss and address our concerns which was greatly appreciated.
Was not impressed to revive an email from OpenTable saying that we didn’t honour our reservation which obviously we did, not sure where the lack of communication happened between them and the restaurant but it has since been resolved.
Food portions and quality is lacking.
Had a great time. Server was lovely. Drinks could be better. But overall a good experience.
I went with my kids on Saturday, and we ordered the usual, mozzarella with procuito which was very good. My daughter and I shared the lemon garlic shrimp pasta which was good, but not as lemony as it usually is, and a little more oily than usual too. My son had the funghi pizza. He enjoyed it but found it a bit too spicy.
Our waiter was lovely, and so was the greeter.
From the moment we entered to the moment we left, the hostesses and the servers were top notch. They got us to our table right away, took our order without delay, grabbed our cheque without delay. The ambiance of the whole place was very lively and everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves! The only qualm I had about the place was the originality, taste and quality of the food. There was nothing super original about the menu (no house specials from what I was able to see). The bruschetta was delicious but the tomato and fennel soup was too creamy and had no hint of fennel. I would’ve preferred the bread to be served on the side instead of inside the soup (because it turned to mush in seconds after receiving the place). The BLT was subpar (more seasoning necessary) and fries were akin to the frozen ones and served with ketchup (they should’ve been given with a special aioli). Overall 4/5.
PS, we came for a birthday celebration so it would’ve been nice for the dessert to come with a small candle on top. I made it clear to the hostess that we came for a birthday so it may have slipped her mind, oh well.
Great food for all of us no issues.. Service also prompt and polite
The fresh mozzarella was outstanding, our server Gregory was most courteous and professional and somehow organized a beautiful tray of deserts to celebrate our triple birthday celebration. We will remember this visit for a long time.
Nice food but the quality and quantity is not consistent. Been there like 3-4 times and thats what i notices but overall the food is most of the tome very good.
Quick beer and app, service was great.
Always a great experience at Scaddabush! Pasta is delicious 🍝
This is a basic chain Italian restaurant. The selection of food is good and their service is good as well. Nothing exceptional it but worth the money.
