Scaddabush Italian Kitchen & Bar - Yonge & Gerrard Ratings and Reviews
Fantastic! Will definitely go back with friends.
Really nice take on casual Italian. Great for a date or a group.
Restaurant is in a great area of downtown. The vibe itself inside is more chilled and laidback than I expected, which really works in favour of the place. Food was great, and it didn't feel like you had to wait forever to get it. Even on Valentine's Day they were really attentive and quick, so much appreciated. Definitely coming back again!
Loved the food and particularly the smaller portions. Ideal for seniors. Only complaint was coffee was cold. Waitress was very understanding.
I came here for Winterlicious with my friends. Food was delicious, the salmon was just incredible and our server was very nice, friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the food and our time here. We would definitely be back in the future. Please keep up the great work and customer service :)
Great service, waitress was pleasant and gave great suggestions. Absolutely loved the food.
Great location with a relaxing ambience. The Winterlicious meal was delicious. All the staff I interacted with were very friendly, patient and polite. I had a wonderful experience and will return to this location!
Please let you guests know the spice content in your plates. The soup was just too spicy for me and no where in the description was mention that it was quite hot.
Replacement salad was very good.
Our main dish (Winterlicious menu) was the pasta which arrived only warm. It was good and filling. Dessert was excellent.
Service was outstanding!!! Food was tasty. Ambiance is fun and lively but the DJ needs to go! For a Sat evening in downtown Toronto and a girls night out we felt like we walked into a time warp! Overall I recommend it:)
We had a reservation for 6:30, but it was so cold and snowy and windy, we decided not to walk around downtown as long, so checked in about 5:30 to see if we could eat earlier. Of course you can, was the reply! Amazing staff, very friendly and accommodating.
Food was delicious, fresh and lots of it.
Had read the menu on line before making the reservation, and the three items I really wanted to try were on the "Winterlicious" menu! Bonus!
the tiramisu was very good, as well as the paste. The restaurant is very spacious, definitely a good choice for group events
We visited the restaurant at noon on a Saturday, the location is on the corner of Yonge St and Gerrard St and is easy to find. There were not so many people, the light was warm, the waiters are all very friendly. The cuisine is outstanding and characteristic of Italian. Recommend it for friend gathering events!
The Winterlicious menu was great and the service was friendly and attentive.
It was an awesome experience !!!
Tonight was not our best experience here.
Half the food on our plate was warm at best and some of the rest was very hot after an unusually long wait for it. Prompt response from the manager/supervisor with apologies. The server followed up with the same and by announcing we would get a discount on our bill (we heard 50%). We had no expectation to receive a discount, appreciated the simple apology, however it lead to another disappointment when the bill did arrive and something different than expected was the final result. Actually discount was 15% and only on the food. This was especially bothersome since only moments before the waiter tried to use the discount to encourage us to order more!
Have been a regular since they opened but this may have just tipped the scale.
My husband and I had an amazing dinner ..ordered tomato caper salmon.SUPERB!!!..Service us also great.
This is my 6 trip to this particular location since November when my cousin first brought me for my birthday.
The staff is very friendly and nice.
Very small beer servings. Poor value.
Great atmosphere, fantastic food. Will definitely be back!
We received superb service from our server adam who thoroughly explained the menu, and even recommended night life spots for our night out. Our bellini came a bit watered down and was replaced no questions asked (it came back perfect). Service was overall fantastic and I’d definitely come back for the food/drinks. The ambience, fresh ingredients and great service makes me recommend the place to anyone!
Excellent service. Convenient to access. Short walk from Dundas/ College subway stations. Great restaurant for get togethers. I will come back for the Primavera Pizza & the Zucca!
Loved the service !
Good food, lots of options, great service!
I ordered a small salad and gluten free pizza. The salad was fresh and tasty. The pizza was basically dry and completely tasteless. My husband enjoyed his meal so I'm not totally writing off this place. I will just order something different next time. Service was excellent!
The ambiance was wonderful with a DJ on-site throughout the evening playing great music, but at just the right level so that you could still have a great conversation. Food was fabulous and the service was fantastic!
The food was great; my friend particularly liked the fennel and tomato soup. The server was very accommodating and friendly.
Our server Christian (second night on the job) was exceptional. Found the fresh made a bit over done. Was meeting a friend I hadn't seen in 8 years and it would have been nice to have more drinks offered after dinner. We were not pressured to leave right after our meal but we were not encouraged to linger either. Overall it was a good experience and would recommend giving this place a try.
I love this location I always celebrate my birthday there and I always end up going home Happy thank you guys.
Close access to our hotel on a cold, wintery Sunday!
A very nice experience. Homemade mozzarella, pasta and pizza. Would definitely go back.
Good food. Good variety. Pricy for chain restaurant food.
The server was great. They didn’t have some items that were on the menu. Food was good (except the calamari. It was lacking in flavour and was over cooked and dry). The chicken and shrimp main is yummy.
Fresh mozzarella was as good as last time. Service kept up as well.
Our party of 7 (included 3 young children) were warmly welcomed and accommodated. The kids food presentation was fun, and the atmosphere was busy and bustling so we didn’t feel awkward when our baby let out a good yell. We especially liked the charity bread and the bruschetta to start. House red wine was tasty and good value by the bottle. It was an enjoyable dinner, which is no easy feat when dining with young children.
We were delighted with creative presentation of appetizers and the pasta creations - spaghetti pie. The main entrees offered tasty combibations and the portions were generous. The ambience was lively and inviting, even on a Tuesday evening during a bitterly cold winter. We enjoyed our pre-show dinner.
Loved it but a bit noisy. Waiter was great.
Lovely host. The food was good. Everyone enjoyed it
Worse meal ever. So meat ball arrived unstuffed. So we replace our meals with something else. The side plates. One was dirty. Adi used the server who did nothing and did not even remove is from the table. It had food residue on it. And to top it all off it was my birthday ( mentioned in the the open table Rez) and not even acknowledged. Nothing was done. Worse possible experience ever in a downtown restaurant. Btw that wa Athens second time the side plates where unclean at this restaurant. Omg. Avoid at all cost!
It was a very nice restaurant. I ordered fettuchine seafood pasta and it came out really nice. Appetizers were good too. Cocktails very impressive in presentation.
Went with 5 other people and it was a good experience.
I came here for New Years with a reservation and we were seated immediately. Our server (I think his name was George) was extremely friendly and attentive. He offered the fresh mozzarella to start and I was disappointed since I am gluten- free, however the server informed us there was a gluten free bread option. We got it as an appetizer and it was fantastic! The gluten free bread was fluffy and fresh, I believe it was made in house! We also shared a Caesar salad and the gluten free Sophia pizza - both were so amazing! Really love all the gluten free options this restaurant has. My boyfriend (who is not gluten free) thought it all tasted great as well. We each had house wine (white and red) and both enjoyed our choices. Overall we received expectional service, a nice ambiance and delicious food. Best meal out in a long time and will definitely recommend it and come back in the future!
