This was our 2nd visit and unfortunately no where near as good as the first. It was our 15th anniversary & despite requesting a nice table, we were put at a table behind a pillar even though there were ample tables available. The food was not on the same quality level as when there previously. Would suggest a duster be taken to the inside of the acrylic wall covering which would be simple to do as the dust visible with the table light is not comforting.

Excellent service. Some of the dishes were a bit too salty. Was not notified of extra charge for sparkling water. Food quality was mostly amazing except some dishes are overpriced for what they are (ie. Parmesan fries)

Excellent! I had the Lamb and it was a real delight, perfectly cooked and so tasty. The ambiance and service added to the experience. Request a table by the window, the view is excellent.

My wife found her seafood dish mediocre in portion and in quality of cooking. I found both my plates to be well prepared but I disliked the flavours. My feeling is that your cuisine may be a bit too avant- garde for our tastes. Perhaps you could add a couple of more mundane, traditional offerings, and demonstrate the chef’s skill in making these special in some way.

A lovely meal as usual. The mushroom and the gnocchi starters are exceptional. Chicken and filet mains are superb. It was a very busy and loud Saturday night and it looked like the several empty tables may mean they weren’t fully staffed. As we were not in a rush given our 8:30 reservation, it didn’t matter. The recommended wine by the sommelier was also excellent. One of my favourite dining experiences that has never failed.

I wouldn't recommend the halibut but all others that we had were pretty decent. We loved the appetizer - the oysters were fresh (though small); the foie gras was really good as well. We also had the buckwheat gnocchi which had the most amazing creamy sauce. The lamb was good as a main but the highlight of the dinner was the dessert. The coconut cake definitely lived up to its name. I will most certainly order it again in the future. Overall great experience for a special night out.

At Scaramouche you’re always going to get a great meal with wonderful service. We’ve been guests since they opened in the early 80’s and Jamie Kennedy was in the kitchen. Under Keith Frogget, the restaurant has skyrocketed! If you want a terrific meal with impeccable service, Scaramouche should be your choice

Wow, I had not been here since the late 90's and it was even better. Food is incredible, fresh, perfect cooking technique and beautiful arrangement. Ambience was lovely for evening dining, quiet but not silent, intimate but not lonely.. wait staff and welcoming staff were pitch perfect. Kind and warm but not intrusive. I would easily return here for all intimate dinners. Highly recommended. It's also so special with that view. thanks to the team for a memorable night and our compliments to the chef staff, we were delighted beyond expectations.

This restaurant never disappoints. The quality of the food and service is superb. The cuisine is creative and delicious and is served by professional and attentive staff. The restaurant’s interior is elegant and intimate. The wonderful views of the Toronto city skyline create the perfect backdrop for a fabulous dining experience. The menu has lots of great choices. They have creative cocktails and a great selection of wines. Chef Carolyn Reid uses only the finest seasonal and local ingredients to create her inspired dishes. My husband and I shared the half dozen oysters. The Oysters served with lemon, horseradish, and red wine mignonette were delicious. We also shared the Terrine of Foie Gras. It was the best Terrine of Foie Gras that we had tasted. It was beautifully prepared and presented. We both had the Halibut as our main and we loved this dish as well because the ingredients were fresh and the presentation was innovative. The other members of our party had the Buckwheat Gnocchi and loved this inspired dish as well. Two members of our party chose the Ontario Lamb Saddle as their main and the lamb was perfectly cooked and creative in the choice of accompaniments. Dessert for one of our members was Scaramouche’s delicious Coconut Cream Pie. Besides the inspired dishes by Chef Carolyn Reid, there is another plus and that is the staff. Andres, our server helped to make our dining experience a very memorable one; his professional and attentive service and helpful suggestions were appreciated. Scaramouche is a dining experience you do not want to miss.
