I’m sure it’s a nice place to eat but we booked a reservation about 2hrs in advance of our coming there only to find that the place wasn’t even open to the public because of some big wig event happening. After I booked the reservation, I received confirmation that our reservation was good to go and we had a seat. No follow up email saying that the restaurant was closed or anything like that. Nothing on their website suggested that it was closed and Google showed that it was open till 11pm. Got there and all they said was sorry.

A dinner date at Scarlet will impress your companion. It will communicate that you are serious about this relationship while you enjoy yourselves. Scarlet is also a wonderful place to celebrate any occasion. Opening a small jewelry box just before desert would be memorable in this setting - just saying. The view is especially beautiful in the winter when the sky is dark and trees in the park across the street are festooned with colourful lights. Scarlet is a special venue - find out for yourself, but don’t go alone.

We had a wonderful experience at Scarlet Craft Kitchen. Each of our party of 4 enjoyed our meals so much that we all wanted each other to have a bite. There are so many interesting dishes on the menu that I must have changed my mind 5 times. I will definitely be returning for more.

We had a party of 5 for my moms birthday dinner and all were happy with our meals. I had the southwest salad with chicken; my mom had the roasted chicken and the three guys all had fish and chips. We all loved our meals. Our server was upbeat and helpful, and even picked up on our humour style and played along. It was a nice evening

Scarlet craft kitchen is the perfect brunch spot on a hot summer day. Great views, service and tasty food. Highly recommend if you are looking for a nice brunch spot, they have the perfect Alcohol to orange juice ratio for their mimosas too :)

It's a great experience. Food and service were excellent. Patio is in a beautiful area. Little traffic noise, but nothing one can't handle. Try the killer shrimp... it's hot!!!

We went there with 2 other couples to celebrate my birthday. Arrived at 4:30 for drinks and appetizers. Our server-Harmeet- gave us exceptional service throughout the evening! Very pleasant and accommodating! We had nachos for starters and I had a steak sandwich for main. Dessert was a brownie with ice cream. Everything was delicious. Overall a great dining experience with a great ambiance (outdoor patio)

I recently visited Scarlet and while the restaurant itself was lovely, unfortunately, the service provided by our server fell short of expectations. We ordered the appetizers and short after serving our appetizers, our server came and asked “ are you guys still ordering main course or should I bring the bill?”. We said, we still needed to order. After sometimes, we ordered our main course and short after serving, our server came and placed the bill over table while we were still eating our food and said “ hows food, and here is your bill”. We were shocked like that was so rude, we were not finished with our food and still needed to order the dessert. The servers behavior left us feeling uncomfortable and unwelcomed, which was disappointing as the ambience of the restaurant was quite pleasant. We had hoped that the quality of service would match the quality of the food and ambience, but unfortunately, it did not.

We always have great service and food when we come in. This time we had 4 kids as well and they met all of our expectations and everyone enjoyed the food. We stayed at the hotel and did supper and breakfast there. They accommodated very well for our dietary restrictions and allergies.

Out of a group of 10 people only 3 in our party enjoyed their food. The staff was obviously visiting in the back because they weren’t taking care of our table. I was celebrating my 22nd birthday and the overall experience was mediocre at best. Not somewhere any of us would recommend. This was not my first time being here so I was excited to return. This restaurant has certainly gone down hill.

The new roasted beet salad was excellent. The view of the brightly decorated trees across the street was a nice surprise. The serving staff treated us very well. Our little one loved the wings and fries. Scarlet’s salmon was prepared to perfection. Book a reservation in advance!

It was our 15th wedding anniversary… We had the bruschetta to start, it was 4 very thin slices, very hard and cold so little flavour for what it cost, food was ok, but the dessert (chocolate caramel cake) was terrible, dry and hard… Not worth even half of the price… Sangria had too much ice… The server realized we were not satisfied, we told her how bad the dessert was… We still paid for it all, cause it was on our bill… Even though they asked for the occasion when we did the reservation the waitress had no idea or even brought it up… Wonder why do you collect that info then?

Our dinner experience was good, but not great. Service was a bit slow, it was much too chilly in the resto, and the food was all right. I liked my teriyaki bowl except for the chicken, which was sparse and a bit weirdly cooked. My friend's toasted sandwich was partly burned. I have had better experiences at Scarlet, which is why we took our friends there. Still, I would try the resto. It's a decent option and offers lighter fare if you want it.

Stellar scenery. Varied, albeit non adventurous, menu. Comfortable seating. Fair value. What my experience lacked was menu/ingredient knowledge from our server. Very polite but relatively slow service. It took me three times to order a meal because of simple dietary restrictions and I finally settled on a blue rare steak sandwich (possibly one of the easiest meals). My steak, which was medium with slivers of mushrooms and a single toonie sized onion ring on toast with crust so hard I couldn’t cut it, left me unsatisfied. Everything tasted just fine. When the manager checked on us, she did offer to discount my meal. I’ll go again, worth another shot.
