Sea Thai NEVER disappoint
Our go to place for a delicious diner.
The food is delicious , great service and great value
Food was very tasty and service was excellent.
Paul was great!
A little cold but I understand full door wall was open for covid reasons. Great waiter.
We haven’t been out much since the pandemic. We’ve done takeout from SEA Thai a few times. It is always good but this was great! My husband ate every bit of his street noodles and I had basil seafood (with scallops only because I don’t love shrimp). It was absolutely delicious. And they did gluten free version of panang curry with seafood for our friend. Very accommodating.
Just damn fabulous. Sat at the bar. Great food. Great service. The Little Baskets. I could eat 348273 of these. Noodle dishes? Another 4938474 please. Enough said. Just go. Also full bar which is important. Not all of us want wine/beer
Delish food, kid friendly amazing customer service.
Food was excellent! Attentive service. Too cool for outside but they moved us in. Plan to come here again.
Food is always so good it just comes out way to fast. We got our appetizers with our entrees.
Hostess forgot to seat us.
Waiter kept running off before we could finish asking for anything. Food was handed over wall instead of brought to our table....worst service I have ever had.
Found a thin metal wire in our peanut noodles. Thought they should have taken it off our bill. Although they did bring a new one. Just a little disconcerting.
Your staff seemed overwhelmed, rushing around, making a lot of noise when clearing tables, I think a partition separating the coronation station from the dining area would help. Slow down the staff, its not a race, this is suppose to be a dining experience not a race to the finish. I think the staff is doing the best they can but they are hurried very little contact with the clients other than, " how's everything". They need to be able to earn there tip, it takes personal contact, how the table is progressing any issues that need to be addressed. I love the food, put on more staff to lessen the rushing around. Busing staff need to be more quite.
Excellent food as always. We had great service from Chloe. We have never had a bad meal here.
Don’t like sitting on front of restaurant near front door.!
Birthday dinner for a friend. Four of us sitting on the "outside" deck was very comfortable. Food was delicious and we shared two appetizers (pot stickers were amazing good!) and four entrees w/ a bottle of wine. We ate most everything and w/ the exception of the broccoli beef being a bit chewy, all was very good. We'll be back!! Service was excellant btw.
This restaurant is fine for lunch, the food is just average.
We had chicken fried rice and Pad Thai which were large portions but lacking flavor. The Larb was a chunky chicken salad with vinegrette, it was not traditional ground chicken with garlic, basil cilantro and lime with lettuce leave to be eaten taco style.
Everything was great, as always, except for an inexplicably long wait for drinks from the bar. Our food was mostly eaten by the time the drinks arrived, so we had to order more food to go with the drinks!
We had an early afternoon lunch and our salads were great. We sat outside and the experience was pleasant with only moderate noise. Service was very attentive, but not overbearing. We will visit this restaurant on a more regular basis.
I love Sea Thai. I had the cucumber avocado salad which is the best. It is noisy, it’s true but it’s still worth it.
Amazing food and service. I will be back there again in the next few days. Great options as well
Dinner was excellent, but they didn’t have my OT reservation. What’s up with that Open Table?? No worries, the hostess was a champ and found a great table for us. You need to thank them. I’ll be back but may find another way to book.
I am a “frequent flyer” at Sea Thai Bistro. The reason is amazing food - always consistent! Great bar with specialty cocktails.
Sea Thai Bistro is my go to for special occasions and just because.
I made a reservation for 6:00 pm for 3 and I did it on-line. I did not see any where it said inside or outside, so they sat us inside. We had a very uncomfortable person with us who did not want to sit inside. Finally, they sat us at a table for 2 and we were crowded with the food and drinks at the table.
We waited SO long and finally asked the bus boy to the tell the waiter we wanted to order. Then after eating we waited SO long and told the bus boy to tell the waited we wanted our checks (we told the waiter we wanted separate checks.) Finally, the bus boy brought one check, not 3 and we had to start all over with getting our bills.
Even with empty tables around us outside, we still had terrible service. My food that was supposed to be hot was cold. I will never recommend your restaurant.
A disappointing experience at Sea Thai Bistro last weekend. This has always been one of our favorite thai restaurants. In fact we live in Petaluma but always drive to Sea Thai Bistro for the best thai food. At this visit we sat for over 30 minutes at our table before being greeted by a wait staff person. I do understand that restaurants are short staffed but do think a word of encouragement would be helpful. My husband went to the bar to order cocktails since we were not being helped at our table. The bartender informed him that he was too busy and need to wait to be served at our table. He finally relented after a few more minutes and made our cocktails. Our food was also not up to the quality that I have come to expect here. Our appetizer which was a spicy prawn dish was so salty that we didn't enjoy it, but we had never had this dish before so decided that perhaps this is just how it is prepared. However this was followed up by 2 entrees: Drunken noodles and Summer Fire chicken that were so over salted that we really couldn't eat it. I was also disappointed that the drunken noodles are now served on a plastic tray with a paper liner. I know that there is a pandemic but certainly do not understand the necessity of this. Sadly our dining experience was very poor at this visit, and I question whether we will be back.
Hostess made us wait for our reserved seating while she busied herself with paperwork. Stood there a good three or four minutes before we were seated. Food and service were ok but they seated a party of four just 3 feet away from us ignoring the 6 foot protocol.
Our favorite restaurant in Santa Rosa.
Sea Thai is our go to place as we live close by
It is consistent and always very good.
The special salad that day with apples , prawns and scallops was delicious , they have a very good wine selection (specially European Riesling) and it is overall just a great place to have dinner / lunch
The server was attentive, polite and fast! The food was fantastic! Presentation of our meals was very good. The server noticed we were celebrating a birthday and brought us a desert with a candle to celebrate! Made our meal very special.
Always good food and excellent service! The outside seating was very nice!
Our server was great. Very attentive to our requests and in splitting our bill. Service was outstanding. Only reason I gave it a 4 is because the menu has changed. Missing two of our previous favorite items. Hoping they can bring back their shrimp salad and banana fritter dessert. The new version of the banana fritter was disappointing.
The hostess was rude and had no customer service skills, when both greeting me and when I asked for a different table. She said she could not accommodate as there was already a reservation in place for a 4 top, and we were only 2. Then minutes later I saw 2 people seated at the same table I requested. She could have easily split split that table for 4 into two tables if 2. There was plenty of room on that part of the patio. We were seated at a table that placed me 1/2 in a doorway which was close to the bar where serving staff gathered to add up their bills. I made this reservation over 10 day prior to our lunch!!
The ambience was noisy. (And we were outside)
The tables were unattractive. The chairs uncomfortable.
The dressing was overly spicy for the salad special, which was overpriced.
Or server was nice enough.
Everything was fabulous. Although we didn’t appreciate the hostess giving us a time limit.
Fabulous tastes and very good service at SEA Thai! We couldn't decide on appetizers so we tried the sampler which offered two of everything. Great decision, as everything was tasty. The night we dined they also offered a chef's special of tempura squash blossoms, which were perfect!
The Chicken Larb salad was a hit, as was the pad thai.
Looking forward to returning and trying out the rest of the varied menu!
This is one of our favorite places. The food was excellent. We brought 2 friends who had never been there and they loved it. We all will be back.
The food here is always excellent! Service and ambience are also great!
I had visited this place a couple of years ago and was ver impressed. In this trip I was so looking forward to come back but was not near the sea Thai from years ago... I guess we should blame the pandemic.
Always consistently high quality experience at Sea Thai.
SEA Thai's stellar reputation falls short
Given this restaurant's great reputation, I must say that we were somewhat disappointed. I dined with three other people and none of the dishes we ordered were above standard. This included their Green Curry chicken and my Pad Thai Noodle with the Lobster dinner--just meh.
The service was just adequate and the beer/wine selection was weak, especially considering the close proximity of this restaurant to excellent wineries and breweries.
If you're looking for authentic Thai and great service, I'd take a pass on SEA.
