We had a lovely time at Severn Inn yesterday. Wonderful service, delicious food, beautiful view - even though it was foggy. Very atmospheric! The Severn Inn holds a special place in our hearts. A friend of ours who died in 2017 loved it so when we go we raise a glass to him.

We went to the Severn Inn for New Year’s Eve pre fix dinner. The atmosphere was lovely and filet was cooked perfectly. However, considering the cost, I wish there was a salad course and that we had choices for the desert. Also, a complimentary New Years champagne toast would have been to have had!

Celebrating our anniversary in Annapolis right before Christmas, we returned to this delightful waterfront fixture on the Severn Rover across the water from the Naval Academy. There are basically three dining rooms we saw., one in the bar area where folks were casual, another room a little more upscale, and finally, a very classy room with dark wood and a fireplace. It was decorated beautifully with Christmas wreaths hangers no like chandeliers, red napkins, a fireplace and a beautiful Christmas tree. We were lucky to get a table by the fireplace, with a view of the water and the lights on the Naval Academy Bridge. The local raw oysters from the Bay were fresh and tangy. My Manhattan was prepared as requested. There is a huge wine selection. Ours did not disappoint. My wife ordered seared ahi tuna, hold the sauce. It came with the sauce which had quite a bit of heat. The mistake was promptly rectified. My rockfish was very good, with delicious mashed potatoes and sautéed spinach. We will return!

The Severn Innn is a wonderful setting to spend time with friends and family enjoying a meal together. Stunning views of the Severn River. Delicious crab dip andhomemade bacon cheddar corn bread. Try a lomondrop martini. Yum. Definitely recommend.

Very nice atmosphere, food and service. However there were a number of people smoking cigarettes while standing just outside the front door. It was not pleasant to have to walk through their cloud of smoke. It would be nice if the management could find a solution to this.

Six of us met for lunch on a Saturday at noon and were seated immediately. The menu isn't very large but there should be enough choices to satisfy most appetites. One person in our party however had difficulty since she's a vegetarian and wasn't happy with any of the choices, finally settling for a salad which she said contained several bits of wilted lettuce. Our excellent server graciously had the kitchen replace it for her and she was somewhat happier. As for the other five of us, we loved what we ordered which consisted of 2 shrimp salad sandwiches, a shrimp Louie salad, a burger and a cup of MD crab soup (the base of which was very weak but had lots of veggies and crab meat) along with a delicious generous portion of crab quiche and small salad. Even though it was a rainy day, the view of the Naval Academy across the river was breathtaking. In nice weather it's fun to sit outside on the deck and enjoy the good food, great weather and amazing views. Be aware, however, that the prices for lunch are definitely higher than what most people would normally pay at lunchtime but for a special day out it's definitely worth it.

The price has increased and it seemed to be less to choose from. I am really disappointed that I am unable to eat dessert, because they no longer have Creme Brûlée.

The food was outstanding. Everything tasted good and was beautifully presented. My only issue was that, while our server was quite attentive, it was almost too much. The place was not busy, but we felt a bit rushed and busser and server seemed to be hovering. Would love to return when it is daylight later and sit on the porch overlooking the water.

The food was good. but. We were put in room with two large parties we had hard time with noise and having conversation . The lunch menu is very limited it you eat healthy and have any food allergies. Service and atmosphere were perfect the staff we so nice and attentive from the hostess to server to bus personnel.

We were disappointed with this establishment. We chose Severn Inn because of its location and ambiance (string). Our reservation was for 5:00 but they wouldn’t seat us when we arrived at 4:50, so we had to wait in the bar area until they seated us at 5:10. The service was very slow. The corner table was very cold. The bar noise was too loud. They did bring us a small brownie and a scoop of ice cream as it was our anniversary, which was nice. But overall, not up to expectations.

We stopped here for dinner. The menu has great variety. The ambiance was nice. The drink and wine list is EXTENSIVE. Our waitress was quick and efficient. She also recommended a couple things which was nice. Come hungry. Can’t wait to try this out in warmer weather and sit on the deck. Five stars.

We were lucky enough to be there on a quiet Saturday afternoon when everyone was at the Navy game so it was quiet and the view was beautiful. I would recommend this charming Inn to anyone going to Annapolis. Parking easy instead of in town and food delicious. Cream of Crab soup and Crab Louie--couldn't be better with all that Maryland Crab.

We went for a lunch on a beautiful fall day, mid week. The hostess was very welcoming and were seated at a window table overlooking the water with a view of the Naval Academy. They were not overly busy, but the wait staff was friendly and attentive. The food was very good - we can recommend the shrimp salad and shrimp tacos. I prefer my shrimp salad on rye toast, but the only option was a brioche bun. We shared a dessert of pumpkin dip, served in a small pumpkin with various cookies and phyllo chips to dip. It was a perfect end to the meal without being overly filling. The prices are competitive to other Annapolis restaurants. Lunch for four, with an appetizer and dessert to share, no alcohol, was about $100. I especially like that it is not located downtown, and parking is readily available in their lot. We would definitely return to the Severn Inn.

My wife and I enjoyed a nice dinner at the Severn Inn before going to a school play at Severn School. The menu offered many tempting choices, and the Inn offered a nice wine list. We really enjoyed the food and our wine. The service was outstanding. It is pricey but not over the top.

Linda B was the magic! When a view restaurant is great, or it’s not, it’s the service that makes it. If the food is only average, the venue fails, but if the service is just average, the venue often continues on but it stagnates. Linda was the magic! Caring, thoughtful, helpful, and informative, she timed our meal perfectly, and served the delicious, and gorgeous meal with great timing. It’s no wonder I make it a point to go there whenever I’m in town.
