    We were standing at the reception area for over 10 minutes and were not acknowledged. As we had a concert that evening, we left and went to a restaurant across the street where we were served immediately.

    The wild salmon was super, cooked just right, and we were impressed at the number of vegetables that came with the meal. The best meal I’ve had in a while.

    I have to say that it has been a very long time since I have recieved such great service from a waiter! I cannot for the life of me remember his name (me problem, not him, I am terrible at names!). Friendly, funny, kind, great suggestions, all around a great person! Made our ladies night incredibly memorable. Thank you!!!

    The food was wonderful, our server was amazing - great sense of humour and very helpful with impeccable service skills. We had a lovely dinner, pre-show at the Winspear. The food came out to us in a timely fashion, it was delicious and we paid up and made our show, with lots of time.

    Portions and price were surprisingly reasonable. We ordered the charcuterie board and was disappointed with the ratio of bread/crackers to cheese/meats. We asked for additional crackers/bread and was charged extra. x2 slices of bread and 4 crackers between two was rather silly. Waitress was very slow, seemed to be the only one working in a full restaurant.

    We arrived a few minutes before our reservation. No one was there to sit us so after a few minutes we sat ourselves down. We waited at least 15 minutes and we were not served. So we walked out and went to another restaurant nearby. We were well dressed and I was there with my wife. The restaurant was not overly busy. Clearly service was not up to what I expect.

    This was the WORST dining and service experience of my life and an absolute rip off. The Westin should be ashamed. I’m gobsmacked. I booked the New Year’s Day brunch for my family thinking it would be a high end breakfast buffet @ $60 a head, and I have never been so disappointed or embarrassed. We were sat in the lobby/sports bar. The feeling of chaos was immediate. (It felt like a Denny’s) Offered coffee which took 20 minutes to come and then no cream or spoons. Juice took another 15minutes after that. All Food in buffet was ice cold and of Tim hortons/free hotel breakfast quality. No pancakes waffles or French toast. The roast beef was dry and being sawed at next to the bathrooms. Once we finally decided what fast food garbage to put on our pitiful plates, sat back down to no cutlery at the table. No cutlery at the buffet. Had to ask 4 different staff for cutlery which took 15minutes to eventually come. Many other tables sat staring at their plates of sadness with no cutlery to eat it with also. Total bill for 6 ppl to eat Tim hortons food in a lobby: $450. (As they had the audacity to charge an automatic 20% gratuity For the STELLAR service we had)

    Food quality was poor. The meat was extremely tough and difficult to cut and chew through. Had to get new meal made and it was not any better. Service was lacking. I had to call out for assistance and there was no offer to compensate me for a terrible meal. I will not be returning.

    The service and ambiance was great. The staff we're very friendly and accommodating.The appetizers and desserts were good. The entres were less than satisfying, the meat ( both the steak and the duck) were tough and not very appealing to taste. The value was good but would have been great if the entres were more enjoyable. I would have loved a traditional Christmas turkey option.

    Waiter was having a bad day so he was slow to respond to requests - we felt like a bother and would not have left a tip except there was a 20% tip automatically added to the bill All of the side dishes were overcooked and dry The roasted turkey and omlet stations were great and the staff working these stations were a pleasure to deal with Overall the meal and service left a lot to desire and it will be a long time before we return

    Food was good, very clean place, service wqs very poor waited 45 min befor I had to ask some one for another drink. Then they included there own 20% gratuity on the bill.. Would not go back unfortunately!

    I made a reservation for Mothers Day brunch and they seated us in the lobby for my mom’s special day. If they didn’t have proper seating and room for guests, they should have made that clear before booking. Awful experience and terrible ambiance.

    This is a great place for a fine meal. After a long absence, we went back to the Westin Share Restaurant based on my sister's recommendation. It was indeed excellent. Well prepared tasty food, great wine and attentive friendly service. The mian dining room is under renovatio so the interim dining space is somewhat sparse. However any deficiencies are miore than offset by quality of food and drink and also the staff. We have already been back and also recommended Share to others.

    The restaurant is under renovation and a “makeshift” space was created in a meeting room. The waiter spent his time catering to a table of hotel staff and we felt neglected. This has been our go to restaurant for many years and hope to try it again when the actual space reopens. The food was underwhelming and tasted like it had come from under a heat lamp for 30 minutes.

    Showed up for a 12:15pm weekday lunch reservation, and there was no host(ess) at the stand, the lounge was completely empty, and there were a small handful of people eating in what looked like a large conference room with some stand-up projector screens playing some sports. Zero staff in sight. Proceeded to ask the concierge of the hotel if the restaurant was, in fact, open. It was. She went through the conference-room-looking room to the back to find a server. Turns out that that was in fact the restaurant. We were seated near the projectors. Great. Get menus, things were much more expensive than what was suggested by the opentable menu. We asked about the “express lunch” menu offered on here for $16. They have phased that out over a year ago. They have had multiple menu changes since then. Nobody has updated opentable. Okay, $22 burger it is. Burgers were actually quite good. But if the menu was accurate and somebody had told me that the ambiance/service would be that sub-par while paying top-rate pricing, I definitely would have chosen one of the many other great restaurants (in that price range + area: Madison’s grill, Harvest Room, Lux, Kindred, etc.).
