We were in Miami to go on a cruise. We decided to go to Shula's because it was my birthday and wanted to celebrate someplace nice. The food was great, the staff was helpful and friendly. They even brought me a new martini after I managed to spill mine all over the the table and booth seat. We truly enjoy the excellent steaks at Shula's. They even brought me a free dessert to celebrate my birthday.

The hotel the restaurant is in is very outdated and looks like it belongs in the 80's. The food was decent, but I wouldn't say much better than a low end steak house. Dinner for 2 with a drink, no appetizers was roughly $200. There are much better steakhouses in the area to spend your money on.

the restarura is located in Collins, inside a hotel. Quite a walk from hotels front door to the restaturant. An old style atmosphere, slighlty dark ambient. Service was extremely lousy. It took almost 20 minutes for us to get ice water in our table. Food presnetation was pretty good, eventough the 16 Oz NY Strip looked a little smaller than expected. Good beef, cooked to the proper point, not exceptional. Good place to go, specially if you are in the neighborhoods. If you have time and anergy to move around, may be other places would fit better.

It took 2.5 hours to get a steak that was not memorable. The food was ok to good but for that price it should have been excellent to memorable. The waiters seemed overwhelmed.

150.00 USD for 2 People dining is outrageous given the badly prepared food and run down place. The service was horrible with some staff members having horrible B.O. The filets we ordered were burned. No apologies from anyone for the mistake but a mandatory 20% tip added to the bill. The flavor of the sides were below average. The restaurant was almost empty when we were there. Go to Ruth's Chris!

Reservation made weeks in advance. Restaurant called that day to reconfirm. We arrive on time and we had to wait for them to set up a table for five. Waitor had very little personality. Maitre D was great. Steak had a lot of fat which was unexpected. Crab cake was good. Dinner was too long. Two other tables came in after us and left before us. After awhile chairs were uncomfortable. Would not go back

Shulas is a great restaurant chain but this place needs a face lift. Service was just okay and my steak was over cooked. There are just too many dining options in Miami/Coral Gables to return here in the near future.

Our server Mike, was very attentive, polite and courteous. Explained the menu very thoroughly to us. He made the experience that much better. The manager also was very attentive. The piano came by to say hello and the supervisor David also came by to ask if everything was good. Which meant that they cared. Good team of people!

Ate in the lounge and it was like our own private dining space. The appetizers were pretty good. Shrimp cocktail were colossal and cooked perfectly. Steaks were cooked perfectly as well. I will say the side items were terrible. A steakhouse must have fantastic sides. Baked potato and corn are a definite no thanks on our next visit. Staff was extremely accommodating and friendly.

My husband and I traveled to Miami for a quiet weekend away and chose Shula's for my birthday dinner. The restaurant is beautiful , the service impeccable and the food delicious! I can't say enough about the experience! Thank you Shula's Miami Beach for a great birthday!

We had a wonderful dinner with family. A bit pricey but Shula's on the Beach in Ft Lauderdale has closed so we drove to Miami Beach. Couldn't take most friends or family due to pruce.

Service was absolutely horrible. Asked for bread and was told that could not get bread til after order was taken. Ordered steaks medium rare and they came out medium. Potatoes were luke warm. Waiter could not seem to handle table of 8 and got checks mixed up and orders mixed up.

Waiters should remember there is no business without the customer. Maybe they should treat the customer better. As for the food: We had four steaks, two were good, One aceptable, One terrible.

My partner and I left feeling like royalty. The manager/supervisor was excellent they were all so attentive. They made it the perfect night. It was romantic yet we had a family dining next to us. The manager/supervisor recommended places to visit in Miami and gave us a complimentary shot. I am definitely coming back Shulas went above and beyond and offered exemplary service.

Last night we went for the Miami spice promotion . We have gone to other restaurants and Shula's is one of the few that does not stint on its portions . We had the salmon and couldn't finish the plate. The service was very attentive and we enjoyed the meal immensity . We will go again

Went there for Miami Spice. First time, last time for us. Had the Times Squsre Strip. Very small portion, thin steak ordered medium. Cooked right but very dry and little taste. Felt like I ordered the sirloin from Outback. Very unsatisfactory experience. Love Coach Shula but not his steak!

This place has AMAZING food! The selection of meats is excellent and they were prepared to perfection. So tender they barely needed to be chewed, but you had to chew it to get the great flavour. Would definitely go back, especially with the great deal on for the Miami Spice specials.

We have been to Shulas many times. With the Ft Lauderdale location closing we chose this one. As a football fan this was unreal. From the presentation of the Coaches signed ball to the Lombardi Trophy there. Not much more to say

My husband and I went for our anniversary. The food was wonderful. The service was outstanding. And the view was magnificent. We had a great time. We have a Shula's 347 home, but there's no other place to try Shula's then in Miami Beach!

We always go for a wonderful meal at Shula's when we visit Miami! The staff is excellent, knowledgeable and super friendly! The manager there always comes to say hello and chips in whenever he can! Love the food, best steak in our opinion! Looking forward to going back our next visit!!

My wife and I wanted to spend our 5 year Anniversary with are family and friends at Shula's Steakhouse and guaranteed our guests they were in for a treat as our previous visits had exceptional service and great food. The service that we received on Sunday February 15th 2015 was extremely disappointing. To summarize our experience, as soon as we walked in we expected someone to acknowledge our anniversary, no one said anything except the woman at the reservation desk. Our servers Carlos and Bryan greeted us after being seated. He took our drink order and we asked to start with water. Carol was very pushy that we ordered from the bar. We asked to see the Moscoto wine and when we said we wanted to think about what we were in the mood for, he became annoyed and returned the wine to the bar. He forgot to take my drink order and brought over the meat tray. I ordered a vodka tonic and he laughed, wrote it down then in a condescending tone; asked, "are you ready for my presentation now?" We ordered our meals; when they came out my wife's loaded baked potato was a twice baked potato and our guests asparagus was burnt. He offered no apology, just stated he wrote down twice baked and the asparagus was grilled. I was surprised he would bring the asparagus out like that, even more surprised he didn't correct the order he just had My wife and were embarrassed by the service our guests received. We had very high expectations in coming to your restaurant, we wanted to celebrate our Anniversary with you. We brought guests in from Colorado and it was an absolute disappointment, we have had better service at a local mom and pop shop. We had two dishes bad, we were pushed to order a drink from the bar, we were laughed at when we ordered a drink with our server, after our food came out no one came to check on us, the table was not pre-bussed, we were not offered a dessert or the football, and nothing was mentioned about our Anniversary

Reservations at 6:30 and left at 11:07. Seemed understaffed and disorganized. We never saw waiter that was assigned to our table. Waited 45 minutes before another waiter helped us. We actually finished the bottle of wine we ordered before the dinner came. Several customers were upset and complaining of the wait and left.
