Wonderful food, great staff!
If a special environment is needed to celebrate a private or group occasion...THIS is the place! You can not go wrong!
Consistently good food and service. Server was very attentive and eager to please.
Pricey, but food was excellent. Not the fastest service but food was worth it.
Food and service was very good as usual. The reservation we made was honored as soon as we arrived even though we were a few minutes early, and were immediately seated at our table.
Excellent service, management made us feel welcome. Food was great. Had not been there in a long time, definitely have to get it back in the rotation.
i have been going here for many many years. The last couple times seem to get worse and worse but tonight was it. We won’t be back. We had to wait 10 minutes for them to “set” not clear or clean just set a table. Once seated we didn’t get water or see a waitress for about another 10 minutes then two of them proceeded to debate who’s table it really was. Our waitress absolutely sucked we saw her all of 5 times, we had to specifically ask for water refills when our glasses were clearly empty. Our dinner took 45 minutes to come out and when questioned the waitress said it was the lobster tail that it takes really long. What?? This isn’t our first night out. Oh and did I mention my salad was inedible since there was about 2 cups of creamy garlic slipped on the top, way too much. And the goat cheese was soaked in so much balsamic that the pesto wouldn’t even stay on the bread it slid right off. I seriously should have and wish i would have taken pictures. Sadly this used to be one of my favorite places many years ago, but I’m sorry it’s off our list.
Best downriver. Our favorite spot. Good for a drink. Good for a date. Good for a meeting. Great for family too
Sibley Gardens is a very safe dining experience, great food and service. Saturday food was great but
service was so so at best.
Hands down my favorite restaurant in the Metro Detroit area. Perhaps ever. Have never had anything less than a spectacular meal, great service, and a genuinely nice time.
Excellent food and service as usual. This is a favorite of ours.
As usual everything was very good. Our favorite restaurant downriver. Service was great except one of us wanted another drink and had to ask bartender. Very unusual, service is usually superb. Love the ambiance.
The place was PERFECT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Best as always!
Unfortunately, our visit to Sibley Gardens was not so good. We had a party of six for a special occasion, and waited for our food order for almost forty minutes, and when dinner finally arrived, it wasn't especially good. Everyone commented that their food was not particularly enjoyable, especially for the price charged. This may have been a fluke (as we have had good dinners here in the past), but I don't think that we will be returning any time soon.
We had a 5 person business dinner and each one of us said it was a great place to eat and chat. The food was amazing (my favs were coconut shrimp, creme brûlée and the filet). No complaints.
And a BIG thank you to Jake the bartender for being so sweet to our out of town guests.
We were there for a birthday celebration. It was very very good. Excellent drinks and food.
Sibley Gardens is the GO TO place for a wonderful meal - whether Italian, Seafood, Fish and/or Steak! This family owned GEM has ALWAYS come through with great tasting food and excellent, pleasant service. The Steak Sammy IS OUT OF THIS WORLD! Go and Enjoy! You and your guests will!
This was our first visit to the restaurant and we were very happy. I did not care for the crab cakes, but loved the breaded zucchini and the salad. Really liked the ambiance and the service was exceptional. We would definitely go back.
Food was fantastic!
Had a wonderful anniversary dinner, good was fantastic.
Four of us had a wonderful dinner, each with different meals. The halibut and the prime rib, great. The veal dish and steak siciliano outstanding. We all enjoyed the salad and side dishes to include soup and pasta. We split a piece of carrot cake and tiramisu - both delicious. This was my first visit the others have been coming for many, many years. We will all be back! The service was also very good!
Went there for my wife's birthday. Food was excellent as usual, never had a bad meal there. Was disappointed in waitress, rarely came back, wanted a couple more drinks but by the time she came back we were done eating. Also, it was too noisy sitting by the bar. Recommend sitting in other areas if you want a more intimate setting.
Don’t let the industrial neighborhood or the tired exterior keep you from trying this restaurant which has been run by the same family for 60 years. Traditional Italian cuisine plus American favorites, generous portions and reasonable. The tiramisu is not to be missed.
Very nice place, I’ve never had a bad experience here. The staff is always very nice and Accommodating.
It has been too long since we last visited Sibley Gardens. There quality of cuisine, and atmosphere was perfect for us and our friends that were married on exactly the same date some 47 years ago.
Always an excellent time at Sibley’s! Great food, service and atmosphere. Had family in from California and it was perfect!
As always everything we order is tasty... quality is consistent. This is what I would imagine a '50 dinner club was like... a relaxing evening.
It was just ok! Nothing that I would go back to!
The food was very good and prepared to perfection, the waitress and servers were very timely with all of the courses. My wife had the lobster tail, and I had the Atlantic Salmon both were delicious. I would highly recommend Sibley Gardens, for the food alone and the service was very good also.
Did not eat there. Felt uncomfortable in that space. Not for all people of different hues
I love the place but was unable to reserve a table in the bar/lounge. The chairs were very uncomfortable and hard on my back. It was just too loud in the main dining room.
Service was the best ! My food came out cold I had the Eggplant parmesan and it was tough.
Our waitress was very embarrassed.
We celebrated Mothers Day here.
My mom had to send her meal back, she couldn't even cut it! She asked for key lime pie, it was the only dessert they didn't have.
The host sat us, slapped the menus on the table, and walked away.
The bus boy took a plate right from under my husbands raised silverware...in other words he wasn't finished, nor did the boy ask first.
The bus boy dropped used silverware on the booth seat of the people next to us, near a lady who I am sure didn't appreciate it.
All in all, the service was very poor. I expected more from such an established upscale restaurant like this.
Really high quality food and drinks with excellent service.
Sibley Gardens is an old school Italian Steakhouse across from the biggest eyesore in Trenton. The decor is a throwback but well maintained. The food and the service is on par with the best restaurants in Metro Detroit. The oysters were some of the best I have ever eaten. My steak was perfectly prepared and very tasty. The Veal Picconte was tender was flavorful.
The meal is pricey but a good value!
The food and service was very good, the drinks we ordered were a little high ($8.00) for Bourbon and Coke, and the Perch, for 6 small filets @ $26.00 was not worth it. Should have had the Steak Sammy,
This place is wonderful! Definitely worth the drive!!!
It’s always amazing
