For over 25 years, the Sicilian Pasta Kitchen has provided its guests with the highest level of quality and service. All the dishes are prepared with an emphasis on using the freshest, prime ingredients thus honouring our old-world Italian roots while incorporating a fresh new approach.
Our dining area is simple yet sophisticated which caters to both the casual and the formal. We often host large parties such as office parties or birthdays (no we don't mind taking a group picture) as well as private functions. Many of our guests however, have been coming for years and we are very grateful for their continued patronage.

The lighting in the restaurant was to dark...they kept adjusting them, but it wasn't working, would be nice to see what you were eating..the girl who waited on us did a good job...improvements are needed..

First time there, was excellent! Food was delicious and generous portions (all 4 of us took boxes home). Prices were fair - great value. Ambience was energetic, full restaurant, but not intrusive. We will definitely go back.

Usually love this restaurant and have been there many many times. This is the first bad experience. It took almost two hours to get our main courses. Our server came back twice to clarify our order. The second time, I commented on how long we had waited. The wine we had ordered to have with dinner was gone before our meals arrived. She noticed and asked if we wanted to order more wine. The rigatoni was bereft of sauce and the sausage was overcooked but we were hungry and dared not send anything back.

A neighbourhood favourite. Always enjoy. They have kept up the standard and my family enjoys as well as guests from out of town. Parking can be a bit iffy when church is in but not usually a big deal. the outdoor part seems larger than ever and it's very welcome in the warm months,

Restaurant left a bad taste in my mouth and it wasn’t because of the food. I asked to have the bolognese sauce with the gnocchi and they said it might be a couple dollars more, turns out it was nine dollars more on a $27 pasta. Thought that was a little extreme. The pizzas were very good and the service was good so I give it a 3/5.

If you are looking for good Italian food this is not the place to go. Typically Sicilian Italian food has lots of flavour. The food here was lifeless and did nothing to excite the palate. The server was excellent though. But not a 4-5 star restaurant.

Had an enjoyable date night with delicious food and drinks. Service was decent as I had to inquire about many of the standards(soup of the day, specials) that usually accompany a service. Will go again.

Had lunch on the patio with a client. The pasta special was excellent as was my friend's bistecca salad. The service was great, as usual. It is a gem of a restaurant a little off the beaten path of downtown so parking is easy. I have gone there for many years and the food is always consistent and delicious.

Sicilian pasta kitchen continues year after year to be one of the best Italian restaurants in Edmonton pasta always made fresh with quality ingredients. Great ambience, exceptional customer service. I no longer live in town so when I am back I always try to make a visit back to SPK.

Portions are way too large, The décor is weird, with the large light bulbs which are full of dust, one large room with tables, much like a cafeteria. Food was tasty, but way to pricy for just pasta.

We love coming to SPK it’s one of our favourite spots in the city. The pasta is to die for. I love the pasta assortito because I get to try two different pastas. However, it was our first time ordering pizza too and I would not order it again. It looked and tasted like frozen pizza. There was little to no tomato sauce just cheese. Calamari is also one of our favourite things to order but yesterday it was just soft not crispy.

I brought my gf to this restaurant for her bday and I've been coming here over the years with no issue till last night. I booked a 5:30 reservation and we were seated awkwardly in tune middle of the restaurant while most other people were given a nice window seat. Than our server who apparently was new did not know about the food on the menu and than the veal scallopini we wanted was not available so we had to choose something else. It took an hour to get our dinner than we ordered dessert and a specialty coffee which we thought was forgotten so after 45 min I asked our server (on my way to the ladies Room) if we would get our coffee as she was just standing by the bar... Than when we finally seen her looking up a recipe to make said coffee she brought it and it was cold so we asked if desert was coming and after a long time it finally came but at no time did we even get a water refill and my friend was coughing and yet the server for the people by the window had many water refills. There were only these 2 servers and I feel like we were guinea pigs for teaching the new server. She should have had some proper help and training and to just have her and 1 other server for a busy evening is terrible. Our whole dinner took 3 hours which is just silly. I was embarrassed as I'd told my friend this was a high end restaurant. We also had to watch the waitress struggle with a problem with people at a table behind us and she had to keep running to the cooks back n forth just for them while we waited to pay our bill. It was gruelling and I would like an apology at the very least as my special birthday surprise for my friend was ruined. At no time did a manager appear to apologize for slow service or to ensure everyone was taken care of. After spending well over 200.00 I expected exceptional service. What happened?? I would appreciate a response on this. After coming here for years and telling my friends how good SPK is I am truly sad!

I was really disappointed by our experience. Our appetizer was over seasoned and the pasta was just OK- not worth taking home the leftovers or $25-$30 an entree price. I don’t think we will ever be back.
