   Always a treat to visit and enjoy their scrumptious meals. Even with my food intolerance I was able to enjoy the lettuce wraps with beef appetizer and braised beef Curry as my main. Really well done and the service was impeccable. Highly recommend.

   Creative menu, everything we ordered was very good! Tacos are remarkable, portions are generous and the donuts are a must-have! Service was very attentive and the ambience is warm and stylish. Would highly recommend!

   The best calamari I have ever had. Everything on the menu looked incredible and our server was very knowledgeable regarding what was in each dish ti ensure things were dairy free for us

   Had never been before and went in with no idea what to expect for environment, food, or service, and we had an incredible time! Splitting ~5 starters across 4 people was the perfect amount of food and the price was right. Drinks were delicious, service was on point, and the ambience was beautiful and intimate despite being a really large restaurant. Obviously, could not recommend this place enough and we will be back!

    It was good as it always is. The prices have gone up by a very substantial amount, and while it has always been expensive, these increases are unjustifiable.

    Food was amazing from presentation to taste. Our server seemed fairly new at her craft as her timing was off and we were told to hurry on a course due to the next course coming out. We found her to be some what disengaged and condescending.

    The service was patient, easy going and quietly very competent. The food was flawless, with the green curry beautifully spiced with a side bowl of lots of jasmine rice. I will go back here again in a heartbeat. Heartily recommend.

    The food was incredible! Everything was so flavourful, and plates were very generously sized for tapas. The cocktails were delicious and expertly crafted. Service was polite and quick.

    The food was amazing! I took my 70 year old father who does not typically like to venture too far from the standard meat and two veg - he absolutely loved it. Every dish was awesome, cocktails were excellent and the service was spot on. We’ll be back again!

    I love the atmosphere and the setting. Spacious, bright, stylish, different levels and areas make it quite attractive. Great service and tasty food. The tuna tartare is delicious.

    We arrived at approx. 6:30 pm. Our server was very friendly and polite but the service was quite slow despite the restaurant not being very busy at that time. It appeared that the restaurant was understaffed. We initially ordered the seafood platter with various sides. Our server then returned to advise that there were no more seafood platters available. We then made other choices, including 2 ramen noodle bowls. Our server again returned to advise that the ramen bowls were also not available and that they were going to be removed from the menu altogether. We therefore had to change our order once again. We were disappointed to have to order items from the menu that were not our first or second choices. The food that we ordered was fine but not exceptional. The meal was quite overpriced in my opinion and did not live up to my expectations based on the restaurant's reputation or my previous visits. Unfortunately, for these reasons, would not recommend this restaurant.

    This is our 3rd time coming here and it was a wee bit disappointing this time. The gluten free options were very limited on this menu. The Vietnamese pancake was burnt. Either they cooked it too long or the pan was too hot, it was burnt and bitter. You could scrape the burnt off the pancake. It was not the light char that it usually is. The pulled pork tacos were mediocre at best. The Chinese greens were delicious as were the not spicy noodles. We’ll be waiting for the next menu changes before deciding if we want to try again. Hopefully, there will be more gluten free options next time around. Our server, Steph, was very nice.

    We had a bunch of sharing plates and tacos - all were beautifully prepared and delicious. Our server went to the trouble of splitting a cocktail in two glasses, both appointed with edible flowers - he was also super friendly and attentive! I'm a regular at Side Door, so I'm never disappointed with anything

    Sidedoor is a wonderful place for drinks or dinner. The courtyard in the summer is fun and the interior space is an interesting mix of atrium and levels. The service is fantastic! and I especially recommend the shrimp curry! I have been several times and and I'm back later in this month again!

    Food seems rushed and was somewhat ok. Presentation was nice but I got hints of “old” or food that had been sitting for a while. The chicken thighs in the dish were stringy and dry which is not typical. I had thoughts and feelings that I could have done better myself which is unusual for me. May have just been a bad night in the kitchen but at 200 plus dollars for a dinner for two I may not go back
