   Service was outstanding. Delicious and generous sized cocktails and tasty food. Sat near the live entertainment so it was hard to hear others at our table. That being said the singer was quite good and performed a long set.

   Excellent dinner. Large portions. Ambiance was fantastic but the service was a little slow. Waiter was outstanding he was just busy. Outside of that this was a perfect Valentine’s Day dinner. Will definitely go back.

   Amazing food and atmosphere. Such a beautiful setting! We went for valentines day and it seemed like they were not prepared for how many people had reservations for the evening. Our server kept coming to our table and asking us what he was missing and then running away to get it. Would recommend highly on not such a busy night.

    We had the crab bisque, and the duck and they were both delicious. If you are in this part of town, don’t hesitate to eat. We are definitely going back.

    We just found this place 2 weeks ago and have been there three times now. Cheese cake so good my wife ordered one for my birthday. If you like wine you can’t go wrong. I’m glad they took part in the coolinary month. Hidden gem.

    Love everything I have eaten at Silk Road. The crabmeat lemongrass bisque is a favorite. I had the salmon & my husband had the smoked pork chops, both were excellent.

    Had tried this restaurant before, thought it had a cool vibe. Unfortunately our experience wasn’t great this time. Our food took an extremely long time to come and most of the group did not like the food. Wonder if they have staffing issues that was a problem? The management seemed to realize service was off, they comped one of the cocktails. So, disappointed with our experience, but I hope they recover soon

    Go on Fridays wonderful two piece band the Secret Bandwagon. We were seated next to them but still not overpoweringly loud. Food was good and good value , service was a little shaky but friendly and kind. Absolutely would, return

    Nice revised menu with good assortment of options. We had three different dishes and all were good. Short ribs, blackened drum, and lentil soup! Irish guitar/singer nice touch. Looking forward to next visits.

    Made a reservation for 4. Upon arrival was told our only option was 4 seats side by side facing out the window, not conducive to conversation. When we raised objections to this arrangement we were told we could pull a 4th chair up to a small outside table that was set up for 3, however we could not pull the table out from the wall, or rotate it to access the 4th side. When we again expressed our displeasure we were told that they were sorry, but that another table of 4 had shown up 15 minutes earlier insisting they had a reservation, when they did not (staff confirmed this). Staff did not explain why this group was given priority of an group that did have a confirmed reservation. Needless to say, we left and ate elsewhere given that we couldn’t even be offered proper seating.

    This restaurant has some of the best Asian/NOLA fusion cuisine I’ve ever had. Lemongrass Crab Bisque! Who knew? It’s so delicious, be sure to order some bread for sopping up every drop! Unfortunately, they ran out of the pork chops, one of their more popular dishes, so we both had the duck. Succulent and delicious! They make their white chocolate mango cheesecake on site, and it’s excellent. Want to try a truly different dessert? The Indian beignets in rose water syrup are a treat. It’s a round fried cake donut they have soaking in the syrup full time, but it doesn’t penetrate into the cake part for some reason. So the inside isn’t soggy! Our server was wonderful. She’d been there three years and was incredibly knowledgeable about the food and the restaurant. Come a little early so you can choose for yourself from their extensive, yet reasonably priced, wine selection. I’m definitely planning my next trip back to eat at this amazing place.

    The staff was rude and indifferent. Gratuity of 20% was included in the form of “service charge,” which was itemized along with drinks, entrees, etc. as a purchase. When the bill was presented, the receipt was folded in half with the tip line face up and a suggested additional gratuity of 18, 20, or 22%. The staff is grifting the customers.
