Four Seasons - Nevis - Mango
Everything was good; view can’t be beat—we watched the sunset and heard the waves crashing during our meal. We had two you g kids with and servers were very welcoming to them—definitely a menu and prices for more upscale dining but an ambiance that allowed for young patrons and their parents to be happy.
Meal took 100 minutes to arrive . Ambiance was nice and staff tried their best but many around us were upset at the service
Great setting by the water side cool and comfortable though dark tables!!!!
The staff were welcoming and friendly and totally looked after us so thankyou to them
I feel it’s a shame that it was very overpriced and in my opinion the food was totally average . The wine and drinks were also overpriced and I came away feeling dissatisfied once I saw the cost it was no way value for money
I won’t be back sadly :(
This restaurant is a must if you are staying in Nevis. The staff is absolutely fantastic and pays attention to little details. The food is excellent. Chef Rodelle's jerk rub is not to be missed.
The food was great and we had the catch of the day to share which was a huge snapper. For starters we had the fish dip and seafood chowder. The chowder was a cream base which we didn’t expect. It was good but more filling as a result. Highly recommend the fish dip.
Although it's been two years since our last visit, the setting and ambiance remain as breathtaking as on our very first trip... especially at sunset which should not be missed!! The menu has changed a bit with more emphasis on seafood dishes as would be expected. I, on the other hand, decided to try the skirt steak which was prepared and presented Churrascos style... perhaps one of the BEST I have ever had (Churrasco's in Houston TX remains #1). Service was a bit slow on "island time" but very pleasant... and we really didn't have anywhere else to be! Wish we had another evening to repeat!
We had a wonderful dinner while in holiday on the island. The service was extremely professional but pleasant and friendly at the same time. The wahu wahu dish absolutely delicious.
This casual water-side spot was the perfect place to relax and enjoy a wonderful seafood meal. We chose unique cocktails from the extensive list and enjoyed them very much. The ceviche special made with snapper was absolutely divine and the lobster fritters perfectly seasoned and cooked. We split an entree and the staff made sure we had plenty of the fresh delicious fish and vegetables. Service was attentive without being intrusive and we thoroughly enjoyed our night.
The food was good, but we preferred the cuisine at the other restaurants located at Four Seasons- Nevis. Service was slow but at least we had a nice view! We enjoyed the lobster fritter appetizer and my husband loved his wahoo, which was the catch of the day.
Beautiful location in Nevis , open air , impeccable service. The conch chowder was amazing. Of course the rum cocktails were wonderful!
The view is spectacular! Make sure you enjoy a cocktail or two from there hard to decide cocktail list. Or just ask the award winning bartender. I had the lobster with sweet potato gratin. I don't care for sweet potatoes...I was going to let my husband enjoy it, but I didn't. I ate the whole gratin, delicious. Mahi Mahi was cooked perfectly! Stop in and say HELLO or go for Sunday brunch! Enjoy!
Definitely recommend visiting Mango for the reggae brunch on Sundays! Great food, love music and bottomless mimosas :)
Awesome place!!
This was our second visit to Mango this week - the first was excellent. The second not so much. Service really lacking, took forever to get our food, meat (pork) over cooked. Jerk chicken incredibly small portion for the price. So disappointing after such a good first visit. Obviously the location is wonderful and the view outstanding. But the value just wasn't there on this visit.
Food was fantastic. The spiny lobster is amazing and so was the wahoo. Both are extremely fresh and prepared perfect.
Great spot to watch the sunset over the water, sipping a Hemingway Daiquiri. Outstanding collection of aged rum, and the Thursday 5:30 tasting/seminar is a treat. Snapper ceviche is delish. Our party had all the seafood specials, with no regrets. Flukey circumstance: the breeze died out completely just before a rain shower, and suddenly we were engulfed by gnats, small flies, and noseeums. We moved to sit under a ceiling fan, which provided a little relief. With the rain, the breeze returned, and the bugs disappeared. Still enjoyed our experience, and would happily go again.
We enjoyed our meals and the ambiance if this restaurant is magical.
Dinner was nice, but dessert was fantastic. I would visit again just for the rum chocolate cake and coconut ice cream.
Great ambiance, food, service, etc. The view was breathtaking and the service was immaculate! Would recommend to everyone! Top of the line staff, the chef was very humble. We told him how great the food was as he came out to check on us and he with no hesitation gave all the praise to his team! What a leader! Kudos to Mango it was Great!
Rum pairing dinner - at sunset... what a unique concept! We were greeted by Camilla, our hostess for the evening, who would guide us through the dinning experience... and happens to also be the manager of the restaurant and a self taught rum connoisseur! It was her idea to turn the 100+ rum selections at Mango's into a spectacular pairing experience... and she has succeeded! I must profess that my knowledge of rums is limited... So this was a great opportunity... and Camilla gave us an excellent background on each pairing including the rum and special food selection. Literally everything was outstanding along with a spectacular sunset. This was our second dinning experience on this trip at Mango... the first was also excellent (love the sweet corn bread). Note that this is a completely open air restaurant so prepare with bug repellant (available in your room if you forget yours). Some reviewers have expressed surprise with negative ratings.. Really? This is a tropical island... there will be mosquitoes! FYI... Thee is also a separate rum only tasting available. And make sure you arrive early enough to see the spectacular sunset. On a final note, what really makes this resort outstanding is the professional and courteous staff... something we enjoyed everywhere on property!
Grilled shrimp entrée was fabulous as was banana mango cobbler!
We like the people who work at Mango's. They are kind and attentive. Everything Four Seasons does is first class!
Nice views but bugs everywhere on table that were attracted to the candle and got inside our drinks and food! Mosquitos were biting us during dinner. Restaurant needs to be screened or glasses in.
Amazing setting, food and service!!!
We had a wonderful dinner. Everything served tasted fresh and good. It was dark so we couldn't see the ocean, but we could hear it. There were a few other diners, but it wasn't crowded or loud.
View, service and comfortable dining. Food was good too.
The location is wonderful, and the overall ambiance is perfect. The food is great. Highly recommend the Wahoo and the Plantain Mash.
Our finding experience at Mango was wonderful. The cornbread and plantain mash was a hit at our table along with the Wahoo & Waygu Steak. The entire experience was relaxing and felt special at the same time.
We would return to Nevis just to eat here, we liked it so much! The location, great view, fresh food and friendly service was the highlight of our stay at The Four Seasons Nevis. We dined at Mango three times during our stay and the third visit topped them all. Cisca was our server and was great!
Our favorite restaurant at the Four Seasons. The fish is excellent, rum selections are outstanding and the service is great. Tamerell was our server and was wonderful!
The appeal of Mango for us was the fresh fish options that are simply grilled with seasonal veggies. It's a combination that is tough to beat. Red snapper was in season during our visit, and we just couldn't get enough. Mango delivered on all points, with exceptional food, outstanding service and a view that is unmatched. And if you like rum drinks, the Spicy Turtle is a must-try!
Michelle was our server and she was a delight.
The Spiny Lobster tail prepared at Mango was the best I've ever had. Also enjoyed the Crab & Mango. Outstanding view at sunset. Mango is, by far, the best for dining experience while at the Four Seasons - Nevis.
An amazing place to eat. We had a table right on the calm water, and watched a 4 foot barracuda chase after silverfish in the night spotlight. The trio of ceviche was divine. For the lump crab mango appetizer, they ran out of crab and, alas, substituted with huge chunks of lobster!! Chef Max came out to talk to us about all of his delicious cooking, and the wait staff was pure hospitality with smiles all around. Just magnificent.
This was a wonderful dining experience. First dining experience, I was solo. It was such a beautiful sunset. The wait staff was excellent and the food was AWESOME! I had the riblets, which were wonderful! The second visit, (in a four day stay) I had a guest with me. We ordered cocktails, appetizer and seafood. The dinner was, again, delicious! Highly recommend this restaurant. Be sure to make a reservation!
Beautiful view, but lots of bug bites. Food was very good.
Book an early table at Mango's to take advantage of one of the most fantastic sunset views anywhere in the world. It was unbelievable. And the food and service is awesome too. Tamarelle was our server and she was warm and knowledgable. We started with some of Kendie's great cocktails - my dinner guest raved about the Spicy Turtle. We enjoyed Lobster Fritters and Diver Scallops as appetisers and then we had the Catch of the Day, simply prepared and excellent flavour. All and all, a wonderful evening.
A fun, upbeat restaurant right on the water in a fabulous setting! It was fascinating to watch the barracuda stalk the flying fish while dining on seafood! Fresh local food cooked lightly and crisply!
Great spot with a great view. Friendly staff make it enjoyable. Food is outstanding. Vance and Chef make it special
Best of the restaurants at the Four Seasons!
We are here 3 times while at the FS for our honeymoon.
The Roti was amazing - I had it twice. The view is out of this world if you go for the sunset.
Seemed like a bit of paradise when we dined at Mango. Right on the water and amidst cool sea breezes. The food was creative, healthy and tasty. The service was great. They were willing to substitute healthy veggie options when we asked.
