Skylon Tower Revolving Dining Room
Lunch: Daily: 11:30AM - 2:30PM
Dinner: Daily: 4:30PM - 10:00PM
The view and service was great. The food was very good. Especially the Canadian salmon with horseradish. A bigger dish would have been enough for dinner instead of an appetizer. Truly worth coming for by itself. Only disappointment was that regular marti
Food here is uninspired and over priced but the view is magnificent and makes the experience worthwhile. Suggest ordering as frugally as you can and drink in the sight of the falls.
Skylon Tower was terrific. Great food. Fantastic service. Amazing view.
Nice idea for venue. My meal was however way overpriced for what it had to offer.
It was a great meal (surf and turf) and was ample room we had a table of 4 for a couple.
The staff was so kind and attentive. Definitely nice time for my wife and I !!!!
Two friends and I visited the Skylon during our stay in Niagara Falls. We should have taken advice from the reviews, and just visited the observation deck and had a few drinks. The food was terrible. I ordered a burger because I didn't think it would be possible to mess up a burger. My roll was covered in mayonnaise and there was a hair on it. Needless to say, I put that to the side and ate the burger with a fork & knife. The burger did not have much flavor and had a strange texture. My friends ordered the chicken and the salmon. The chicken was rubbery and the salmon was overcooked. We ended with dessert. The cheesecake was just okay, but not one that I would order again. Another one of us got the crème brule and enjoyed that. On another note, the strawberry margaritas were delicious and we were able to take the cool Skylon glass home with us (not bad for $15, or $10 if you only want the margarita which seemed to be in line with drink prices in Niagara Falls). I'm only giving the overall experience 3 stars because the service was great and the view was fantastic. I would visit again only for the view and to grab a few drinks. It was awesome to sit in the revolving dining room which provided a FANTASTIC view of the falls. I also enjoyed reading the fun facts on the window ledge as we rotated.
Too expensive, but the service and views were great.
My first experience with a revolving dinning experience :) The food was sub-par but worth eating at for the view and free ride to the observation deck.
The view was incredibly awesome! But the waiters seemed like too busy to handle group customers so we had a quite long idle time to be served. The food was very good, we had a grilled salmon with rice and veg, a grilled tenderlon steak-mideum. The Steak was little bit overcooked and the rice was a bit salty..but overall, it was a good anniversary-celebrating dining with fantastic view!!
Food is passable, I ordered the sea bass which did not taste particularly fresh with a side of cafeteria style broccoli and rice. I can’t recommend that dish. The stunning views make you forgive it somewhat but the price for the quality of the meal is sticker shocking. I may have preferred a few appetizers and cocktails instead. Dessert was also regrettably forgettable. The views are way better from the restaurant than from the observation deck!!
Good food, good service, and a beautiful view of Niagara Falls. It was very crowded, so was had to wait a bit to be seated. Food a little expensive but considering the view it was worth going there. Our waiter was very friendly and knowledgeable, I thing her name is Marieann but not entirely sure, I know she was originally from Serbia.
The view is, of course, spectacular and the food isn't as bad or overpriced as the tourist trap fears make it out to be. I'd definitely recommend lunch/daylight & going the salad & appetizer route.
Accommodations are very tight, to the point that people at adjacent tables poke into your conversation (especially when you're pointing out distant sights)
The view was Amazing. The food was OK but way over priced. With tip our meal for 2 adults was $279.
This place is definitely a tourist trap. You come here for the scenery, which was amazing, but food quality is sub par, especially for what you pay. Way overpriced!
I ordered the filet and it was huge, tasteless but salty and drenched in artificial gravy. It was gross, and for $50+! The spaghetti my kids had was just ok, meatballs were dry and tasteless, their garden salad was just sad.
The tables were very tight. I see people being squeezed in to tight spots. “Couple” diners were sorted adjacent to each other, not across, because they’re back to back with other diners.
We had 2 servers, a short haired, more senior (experience, not age) lady and a younger man. The man was unenthusiastic, and seemed like he didn’t want to be there. My kids even said he’s so serious and unhappy. The lady was great, joking and attentive to my kids (who loved her). Aside from the scenery, she was the only other thing that made the experience bearable. I’m sorry I didn’t get her name. She deserves at least a mention. She even made me a specialty coffee that wasn’t on the menu.
Maybe just go there for drinks, appys and dessert. Or just the observatory.
I would probably try The Keg at Embassy Suites tower. Though it won’t be revolving.
What a wonderful place for a dinner!
As per the reviews I read prior to our visit, the food and service were excellent. The view was amazing. The restaurant is definitely costly, but we all felt it was worth the price. Two of us had appetizers and then split the salmon, which was more than enough food...and perfectly prepared. If you have as n opportunity to visit Skylon tower, do it!
Superb evening celebrating our daughters 30th Birthday .Excellent from start to finish !
A breathtaking view plus wonderful food. This is the best way to see the Falls. Service was great and we weren’t rushed at all.
Great view of the falls in this 360 revolving restaurant. Go early enough to get a window seat. Service was friendly and warm. Good was good but nothing great. You come for the view, a very pricey view . The scallop appetizer was very tasty, the duck pastrami was good. Seafood pasta was good. Pasta a bit over cooked but seafood was cooked well. My husband had the steak and it was a bit tough. No dessert and four cocktails was about $255 Canadian &
We were especially well treated for our 32nd Anniversary dinner by all servers
Una excelente vista, con muy buen servicio y unos extraordinarios platillos
The food was great, but way too expensive! I enjoy the view. Oh wait staff were very friendly and helpful.
Terrific views and outstanding food
The view is spectacular. The food and the service were not as great as our other choices in Niagara falls.
Excellent service and the food was delicious, not to mention the fabulous view. Thank you! We enjoyed a wonderful evening.
We had a wonderful time. The view and the food made that place very especial.
I loved it...the view was amazing..the food was excellent, very friendly staff
It was wonderful and definitely unforgettable dinner!
It's surely a tourist attraction with its rotating restaurant with its views high above the Falls, but the food is good, too. The beef was steakhouse quality, but the salmon didn't taste fresh.
Waiter Dino is the bad part of the place. Always rushing us.
We had a wonderful lunch with our friends looking over a he city and falls. Although the place was full (glad we had reservations on open table), the ambience was fine for. conversation and laughter. The food was quite good, both the appetizers and the entrees. We stayed for desert and made about one and a quarter revolutions. The prices are as high as you would expect for this caliber of restaurant, but not outrageous. We will come again on our next trip.
We arrived for our 10th wedding anniversary reservation. We are not foodies, just love good food, good service and usually don't sweat the small things.
Arrival: We were seated earlier than our reservation which was a positive. All tables have an incredible view and are right against the windows. Downfall is that to fit more people in you are not seated across from each other, but beside each other from the corner of the table. Attendant and server were very attentive and fast.
Drinks: 2 alcoholic drinks arrived quickly and did not seem watered down.
Pre-meal: Bread – cold, uncut throughout entire loaf, and had to spread with cold (fridge cold) butter – near impossible.
Appetizer: Shrimp cocktail – 5 large shrimp with sauce, however, would have liked 6 to avoid the "last one" question.
Dinner: Seafood pasta – Plenty of seafood tossed in with the linguine. Sauce was delicious, but very watery, would have like it a tad creamier. Now to my pet peeve with seafood pasta – unfinished seafood. This is supposed to be "Fine Dining" and here I am in a suit, celebrating an anniversary, pulling the tails off of my shrimp and pulling the mussels out of their shells. There were approximately 5 shrimp and 4 mussels, so my hands were quite messy by the end of it. If I was in Montana's, I wouldn't be as bothered. If I'm paying $50-60/plate, I shouldn't be making a mess while eating.
Dessert: Apple Crumble – Delicious! Huge! We split this between us and was more than enough to satisfy. Served very warm (positive) with a scoop of ice cream and whipped cream. The ice cream did seem to have some ice crystals in it (usually old or low in the tub).
Overall: All in all this was a wonderful experience. The magnificent view was beautiful to see during our entire dinner. We only have these few suggestions to make someone's experience even better. Total Cost: $178 including $20 tip – this covered 2 alcoholic drinks, appetizer, 2 mains, 1 dessert. Good value for amazing view.
The view was great. The food was good, but not worth the prices. The Apple Pie was undercooked. The drinks were really good. The service was okay. The server wasn't super attentive, despite the fact that the restaurant was fairly empty. There was someone playing the piano, but we couldn't see him. It would have been nice if he was visible. Overall the experience good, just not awesome.
This was a wonderful view and very good food. The staff was very nice and attentive.
The food here is a complete embarrassment. 50 dollars for a salmon with a cloying sauce, minute rice, and three leathery vegetables? I can’t believe how barefaced they are about the astronomical prices for the most low effort careless food on a menu that seems to have been frozen forty years ago. Great view tho. Didn’t appreciate someone trying to take a garbage overpriced picture of me while I was trying to have a nice meal with my wife.
A spectacular view with wonderful food. The best dining view I’ve ever had💕
