   Excellent!!!! Staff easily helped us to find menu items that could be made vegan and both knew what vegan meant and didn't make us feel like a bother for asking. When we got the food, we could not believe how good it tasted and for that price! Thank you so much for a great experience!

   The meal was tasty but not outstanding. We had the garden salad with feta and pear. There was very little feta or pear and we actually could not eat it as it had predominantly a vinegar dressing. The waitress was very quick to offer us a Caesar salad instead. This was okay but to be honest I can prepare a more tasty caesar at home. I would go back for drinks and appetizers but for an intimate dinner it is not the place. Meals should include at least one side. We got the wrong wine but it was pleasant and we did not mention it to the waitress. We enjoyed our main course which was prepared well. It is not the place for a romantic dinner but perhaps more for after work drinks and noisy celebrations.

   The hostess accomodated us to a different style of seating based on physical setbacks which was wonderful. Our hostess was great!! I feel a bit more selection and an omelet station would set smith above. Thanks

   We went for Mothers Day brunch. We found it was extremely overpriced for what we got. Compared to the brunch in prior years, there was a much smaller variety of options in the buffet. This time, there was no omelette station, very little salads, no desserts. The food was cold. For the extremely high price we were charged, it was very disappointing.

   We had a lovely Mother's Day early dinner the other day. The food ranged from outstanding to very good. The prices were a bit high for what one got in some of the dishes, but in general is on a par with some other restaurants. The ambience is lovely and the noise level was not too high. The service was slow but not too slow, friendly but not too friendly. All in all, a great experience.

   Food was okay, waitress was very good. Restaurant was not busy at the time of our reservation, many empty tables, but they sat us right in fairly tight quarters next to another table with guests. This made no sense to us. Even if short on staff, which did not appear to be the case, why not leave a little distance between diners?

   The atmosphere at Smith is outstanding, cozy yet modern and a very inviting space. The food was good overall but a bit overpriced. We bought the most expensive menu item ($44 10oz New York) and there was a lot of fat on it. I would go back to try their brunch just for the ambience again!

   The restaurant was not busy and yet it took the hostess forever to seat us. Didn’t enjoy that the tables were so close together. We asked to move to the high top tables and they were a little more private.

   Four of us dined at Smith on Sunday eve. We all had the Sunday night Slow Cooked Brisket Dinner. The meal was fantastic. All of us are set to return next Sunday. Great atmosphere, great service and fantastic food!

    Food was lacking flavour, the chicken buttermilk dish was just chicken as the meal. No sides nothing, it would’ve been nice to have a side instead of just protein. The little spoonful of slaw on the dish had no sauce and had no flavour either.

    For the premium prices they charge I was expecting to be blown away with the quality of the food. We ordered the Butchers cut and it was a small amount of meat I could hardly believe it. This would have been forgivable it it was tender and tasty but it was neither. If I was on a cruise ship and was handed the same plate I would have sent it back. The SMITH mashed potatoes were good and the mushrooms were very good. The goat milk cheesecake was intolerable.

    Our group would have felt more comfortable if the servers had been wearing masks. The scraping of the high table chairs being pushed about was very noisy and annoying! We thought the artic char breakfast dish was still available however they had taken it off the menu. The fruit was minimal that was offered on the pancakes. We received the table we wanted which was a real bonus, I had reserved far in advance. Our reception was good, our server was okay, we just felt it was not as good as before(pre covid).

    I went with my best friend for her birthday dinner and it was everything we could ask for and more! The cocktails were so lovely and beautiful, the food was delicious! We both had the catch of the day feature and it tasted phenomenal! I would definitely come back here for another celebration. Thank you for the free birthday dessert as well we really appreciated it 💕💕💕

    Made reservations with my teenage son for dinner on a early Sunday evening. I loved the ambience, natural light, decor, very cozy. He had the Smith burger and I had the NY striploin, medium well, which I should have asked for medium rare. It was delicious. We also had side caesars and mushrooms for a side. The restaurant didn't look too busy to me but we waited an unusual long time for our entrees. Our server also wasn't the most engaging. Will definitely visit again, probably for a girls night! Thank you!

    Breakfast was good but the menu sure was small for choices. One thing I did notice was no staff were wearing masks., I know masks are optional but I sure would like staff to at least be wearing them.

    Service was nice They all should wear mask The 27 $ almost 30 $ burger was beyond overpriced The asparagus Polenta had not even a hint of asparagus… waiter said it was inside of the polenta but I could not make it out Over all 100 $ for including a 15 $ drink I know inflation is high but this will turn people away Cost you menu and be creative with seasonal food

    Fries were inconsistent with some being uncooked. Food was okay. None of us finished our meals and server took away meals without asking if we’d like it boxed up. The last person to have their plate taken requested a take out box for the rest of their food.

    We met up for a ladies’ lunch in this most attractive and central location. We have missed Smith due to closures so it was a delight to return during the lunch hour. The Harvest Salad, which we all had, was generous and tasty. A few more salad options might be a suggestion. The service was attentive and timely. We were never rushed. Overall a very pleasant experience.

    Stayed at the hotel this restaurant is located in. Had breakfast twice, lunch once and dinner once. Only 1 breakfast meal was good. The rest were awful. Colleagues staying with me also had very bad food. Examples: Brisket in omelette was almost pure fat. Server saw it. There was an upcharge for the lunch Caesar and the salad was warm, like the cheese was melting. The mac and cheese was watery. For supper, the potato and parsnip gratin still had very hard pieces in it. The meatballs were bland and barely hot. Overall very poor food. We got better at The Keg, Rae's Bistro and Junction59 for the same or lower prices.

    The staff was excellent in caring for us. The food was great and service were both great. This was a week-day lunch and the restaurant was packed. Not surprisingly, a little noisy too.

    Maple syrup was served cold. Should be warm. Butter was frozen that it was hard to spread on the pancakes. My husband asked for medium donees on his steak. Instead the steak came out medium well and slightly on the dry side when it came out. I would have pointed it out however my husband was hungry. No issue with our omelette. The portion is really good though. Ambience is great and friendly service.

    The food was yum and the portions were very generous. Our server Monica was excellent! She was friendly without being intrusive and really had a feel for the pacing and vibe of our table. My only complaint would be the temperature of the room. Way too warm
