Smith's, famous for fish, was initially established in 1958 and today offers fine dining facilities.

We are now open from 12pm until 230pm for lunch and 5.30pm until 11pm (last seating time is 9pm) on Monday to Thursday.

Friday dinner starts at 6pm until 11pm (last seating is 9.30pm).

Saturday dinner starts at 5.30pm until 11pm (last seating is 945pm)

On Sundays we are open from 12pm until 3.30pm for Lunch
And 6pm until 10pm (last seating time 8.30pm) for Dinner.

I always celebrate my birthday's (30/11/23) ever year at Smith's (i'm glad that my birthday is 30th November because of the wonderful christmas decorations they put up) because its very inviting (all year round - even without the christmas decorations)! It as if you are stepping into 1930-1940 high classy glamorous modern restaurant - I just simply love being there! The staff are warm, friendly, polite, and extremely professional on all levels! The food is such high quality (the lobster is one of my favourites) and cooked to perfection plus they serve seasonal veggies, they listen and try to ensure that you and your party have a fab time (which everyone always do - we have such a great time at Smith's). Smith's atmosphere is so beautiful and wonderfully paced, the views are very stunning - that you just keep on going back! Smith's is a very special restaurant - its a gem in Wapping the East of London! The way it's managed and looked after - the staff are so wonderfully attentive, they all look after you so well they give everything their own personal touch, it's an exciting classy place to enjoy all year round and spend your special birthdays etc! I highly recommend Smith's restaurant - it's simply one of the best classic restaurants in the East of London with a very modern twist! Thank you Smith's for producing such a high quality fresh tasty food and drinks menu! If I was giving out michelin stars - Smith's would have been on top of my list! Patricia

We had a fabulous meal yesterday at Smith’s in Wapping. We chose from the Set Menu and really enjoyed the food and service offered. As more mature ladies we didn’t want to use the QR Code to look at the menu so we were supplied with a tablet to view both the drinks/wine menu and the food. Our waiter could not have been kinder and took the time to chat with us and even take photographs when we finished our meal. My only complaint was that the woman who took our drinks order at the bar whist we waited for our table to be ready was brisk to say the least. No smile and I felt that we were inconveniencing her by asking for a tablet to order our pre-luncheon drinks. Maybe she was busy but a warmer welcome would have been nicer.

Thank you for another great time, as always. The whole experience was spot on. My only comment, not for me, please put some heating in the reception area for your lovely Greeters, I don’t know how they managed to stay so pleasant.

Smith's Wapping is always a brilliant experience. The staff are very professional and do all they can to enhance the enjoyment of any occasion. The location and views are amazing. The fixed price menu is very reasonable with a wide range of options. Nowhere better in London!

After many visits on this occasion we were disappointed with the level of service. The volume of noise was way above our comfort level and find it difficult to converse.There were several noisy groups.There were times when we needed our glasses refilled and felt ignored by staff who seemed to be engaging more with the these noisy larger groups. Food standard was good as usual but as also a very noisy party on our last visit we feel for the problems mentioned we will probably not be returning.

Smiths is without a doubt the best fish restaurant in London. Location is right in the river, service is superb and staff are professionally trained and very attentive. We eat there once or twice a month and have done for years. The food and service is unwavering in quality and presentation. An absolute must for seafood lovers.

Good restaurant. That they don't have physical menus really impacts the experience in a negative way though, your whole table ends up staring at their phones the first 10 minutes after arriving. Not something I see a lot in somewhat premium restaurants.

Another outstanding lunch at Smiths. The set menu is such good value. Sadly the portions are such that no pudding required. Next time! Washed down with a bottle of Albariño. But the stellar thing about Smiths is the service from the moment of arrival to departure. The staff are so professional but friendly in the best way. And then there’s the view! Thank you everyone at Smith’s.

I have been going to the restaurant for many years and it never disappoints, the service and food is second to none It doesn’t matter how many other restaurants we go to in London for special occasions we always gravitate back to Smiths I can’t recommend this restaurant enough, if you have never been try it you will never be disappointed and will wonder why you had never tried it before
