   I have been going to Smugglers since my parents took me at 15 years of age. Timeless in quality and service. Somethings do not change!

   The ribeye steak was very tough. I brought most it home but will probably throw it out. It seems that quality of the food has deteriorated in the last year or so. I have not had a good stake there for some time now. We probably will not go back anytime soon.

   Great service. Our waiter was friendly and knowledgeable. Food was amazing with large portions. We went just as the whole Covid 19 thing got started so it was not too busy and we could talk amongst ourselves without having to raise our voices. Décor seemed a little dated but I didn't go for the ambiance. Great place for prime rib.

    I think we got there at a bad time. Most items on the buffet were gone and what was there was mostly dried out. We sat at 12:30 but I think the food was decimated by the church crowd and hadn’t been replaced yet. Salad bar was good. Server forgot my Diet Coke but kept my water filled. Took forever to get the bill. I’d like to go back and try the menu.

    Ryan, our server was amazing! Funny, witty and a true professional! The bar made drinks exactas ordered and brilliantly garnished. The food(bison) cooked to perfection and melted in your mouth. Ribs with blue cheese crumble were huge but I managed to eat everything. No room for desert. Thanks and see you soon. Mark

    Service was fair. Food was fair. The salad bar was disappointing, lettuce was wilted and I've never seen such runny cottage cheese before. None of it looked very fresh at all. We were there at 11:30am. Looked left over from the day before and like they were trying to get rid of it before the evening service. Our Server was abrupt a few times and could have been nicer when speaking to us. Our lunch took longer to come out considering that the restaurant was not busy. I had the steak sandwich medium rare and it was overcooked and for a steakhouse I expect my steak to be cooked right. If the tip was not already added to the bill, the tip would have reflected how we felt the food and service was that day, not very good. I will go back and give them another chance. Everyone thought it was pricey for what you get.

    This is a very pleasant old steakhouse style place with giant chairs and a fireplace. Service was exceptional including serving a birthday cake we brought along (and providing a free dessert to the birthday boy). My chicken (not crispy) and ribs (kinda bland) were pretty good but not great.

    The buffet used to be fantastic. Tons of options, the warming trays were always topped off with fresh, hot food. It was delicious and a great price. We haven’t been in a while, and it was a little disappointing. The warming trays were almost empty each time we went up. We had to wait for the waitress to go get someone to carve the meat at the carving table as there was no one there, and the number of options have been drastically decreased. For the price it was just ok. Probably won’t be back for the brunch anytime soon.

    Our fifth visit to Smugglers in the past year. This last visit was not up to par compared to the previous visits. The first four visits were great.. the food being the best restaurant orders we’ve ever had. This time ordered the blackened prime rib medium..usually the cut of meat is cut the same thickness, this time it was thin in part to thick in another, plus a section was mush and fat..not to good. My wife ordered the Cajun chicken. Was a big order plus the chicken was very spicy.. live and learn not to order that selection again. At the end of the meal our server surprised my wife with a complimentary slice of ice cream cake for her birthday. Very classy. This is a great restaurant to come to for many occasions, but this time was not our best experience, but we will still come back, but probably order something new on the menu.

    We were a group of 8. Cousins reuniting after many years. Some of us have been there before. I love the ambience. The salad bar is ok, pretty basic. Our one cousin is vegan. There were options for her. However the server forgot to bring fixings for her baked potato (as she only had that and the salad bar). I had the Chicken Oscar. It was okay. I used to love The Keg's version. This wasn't as tasty nor stove hot. Overall everyone seemed to enjoy their meals. I found the prices more than fair. I appreciate that the server made sure each paying group of us knew there was a 18% gratuity automatically added as we were a group of 8+ (I had informed everyone as I noted that on OpenTable anyways, but appreciated it anyways). Over all I'd be back!

    First time at Smugglers and the best prime rib I've had. Love that you can actually talk without loud music blaring like some other restaurants. We will be back with family and friends soon!

    Great place for dinner. Love the salad bar and soup, even though I couldn't find much steak in the "steak soup". Thanks to the salad bar and good portions, you always go home with your next day's lunch!

    Liked the place as we have been there before,the waitress was Great ,very accomodating as i was very unhappy with my Steak,first it was very bloody/under cooked for a Medium cooked Steak ,which she agreed with me so sent it back,within minuts it came back completly burnt but still red in the middle.Waitress was sorry and did not charge me for it. So i shared my Wifes burger which was very good as was the salad bar/soup,then we left a bit disappointed on Valentines day. Don Schmidt

    The only reason for 3 stars is the 2 lady’s had the salmon and they both complained that it was just ok, very bland and not worth the money. My son & I had the friends and owners prime rib and it was perfect!

    Our comment at reservation time wasn't taken into consideration at arrival. Once we pointed out that we requested certain table when we made the reservation, we were accommodated. After that we had a great time and as always, we enjoyed the great food. Service was pretty good as well.

    We hadn't been to Smugglers for a few years and came to celebrate our 55th anniversary. The waiter was very efficient and friendly. He even took our picture in front of the fireplace. We enjoyed the food and never felt rushed. He brought us a mudpie to share and boxed up the deserts that came with the meal to take home. As good as or even better than we remembered

    Used to go here for Brunch quite often years ago before moving to another part of the city. This was the first time we'd been back in at least 5 years (probably longer), and it was not at all as we remembered. Most of the hot dishes were either cold, or very overcooked. The salad bar was a little scant, and desserts seem like they're store bought. The ham and beef was still good. I believe the service was good to great, after mentioning it was my wife's birthday they brought her a piece of cake with a candle, which was very nice. However, we're not sure what happened but while half the cake had a drizzle of Chocolate sauce, the other side had what tasted very close to Worcester sauce. It was very jarring, and atrocious served on birthday cake. The only thing we could think of was whoever plated the cake grabbed the wrong dark brown liquid, realized their mistake, and then switched to chocolate sauce half way through. Truly surreal. The staff was friendly and attentive, so we can't fault them for that. However that standards seem sub-par. We had a lot of great memories of this place, and perhaps it was just an off day but we likely wont be back anytime soon.

    Awesome spot for brunch! Good selections for the carnivores among us and very well priced. Crème brûlée with a citrus twist was my favourite. Their old fashioned vibe with kingly chairs makes you feel like Michael Corleone in a secret meeting.
