So sad to say good-bye! Food was as amazing as usual and service was on point.
We will miss this place!
I have quite a few dietary restrictions and they accommodated me without hesitation. Thank you so much to all the staff there for making our dining experience a positive one. 😊
Good luck with all your future endeavors!
So wonderful. So sad it is our first time here and they are closing forever tomorrow. Please come back!!!
We are saddened by the fact that Solstice and their wonderful kitchen team will be closing..... hoping to hear of a "re-birth" of Solstice in another location.

Never disappoints. Food is always good, and service is great.
Presentation was excellent. Food was tasty except for tuna appie - bland and not sure how it was supposed to be cooked. Almost seemed poached. Service was average. Ambience could be stepped up a notch. It was a little bright. Maybe dim the lights a bit. Price-wise, well worth it. All in all we had a lovely meal for a very good price.
Always a great dinner here.. Food and service are excellent.
Started off with the pork belly and rabbit saddle. Pork belly wasn't too fat, and had good flavour. The aioli went well with it. The rabbit saddle was nice and tender. The carrots and other veggies went well with it too.
Got the duck breast and it was cooked perfectly. (m-mr) Maybe a touch more seasoning but it was delicious nonetheless. I really liked the prune gastrique and braised red cabbage that went with it.
Fabulous food! Enjoyed our night out! We will miss this testaurant
Food was excellent. I am sorry that you are closing!
So sorry that you will no longer be open in the Edmonton, do hope that you can continue to share your talents with some other community, very very interesting culinary style, presentation and taste never had before. Thank you so much for your creativity, we really enjoyed our experience!!
Their food is constantly good!
The food won’t disappoint. Service was a little slow but friendly as it was super busy. Too bad they are closing this February. If you have a chance, do go and visit before they shut their doors. It is well worth it for the quality of food.
I sent a review if you did not get it please ask me for it I will be happy to give it to you. Something went wrong I think with my attempt to send it
I wish we could have come to solstice sooner. The meal was amazing and so delicious. Everything we had from the pig tail and rabbit saddle to the wine and cocktails was so tasty. I highly recommend everyone to check out this little gem before it closes. I’m sad I didn’t get to try it in the summer or spring. Thanks for making my husband’s birthday very memorable. Sad to see you go from the Edmonton food scene.
Delicious food with creative presentation. Great service.
I had the lamb shank and it fell off the bone, so delicious! My husband and I were disappointed to learn that this restaurant might not be open for much longer so I would highly recommended that anyone try it while they can!
I heard that Solstice will be closing in order to reorganize. I hope not -- it remains one of my favourite fine dining restaurants, and if I had the metabolism for it, I would eat there every week.
Amazing. Closing February 16/19 for good. Make sure ypu get there before it’s too late!
I had an amazing anniversary dinner here. We had the wild boar rillette and the rabbit saddle as appetizers, the pickerel as a main course and the chocolate mousse for dessert. Everything was outstanding, the pickerel was cooked just right and the sauce on top was amazing. They also had good wine and cocktails. All in all it was a great experience and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back!
Love this place and will continue to come back. Everything was incredible, and our server was fantastic.
Excellent food! Everything we selected, from appetizers, mains, to desserts was simply outstanding. Highly recommend this restaurant.
Fantastic restaurant and a great meal.
Hidden gem - outstanding food in a small neighbourhood bistro with a cozy ambience. Fantastic value for money. Menu changes with the season. Had the venison from the winter menu which was simply outstanding, my partner had the lamb - equally succulent. Beautifully presented with accompanying vegetables and interesting accompaniments. Only potential downside was not a lot of choice for vegetarians - this is a carnivore's menu.
It was my wife’s birthday. The ambulance was not as romantic as I would have like. The lighting could have been dimmer, but the food and service was amazing!
Was my second visit here and it didn't disappoint. Food and service were excellent.
Got the squash soup, tuna, beef chuck, and wild boar to start and they were all very good. Beef and tuna were tender, pork was good. Everything was seasoned well and was ok point. I got the lamb shoulder for my main and it was amazing. Very tender and the orzo was very good. Would recommend this place to anyone in Edmonton. Prices are good.
Amazing food. Exceeded our expectations. The presentation is a bonus. Worth every penny. You should try their beef tenderloin and pork chop. And ooh never thought Beets soup would be such a bomb! Delicious Delicious food.
Great service. Sparkling Clean bathroom.
You Gotta Eat Here😍
Had a very pleasant dinner from this consistent and dependable spot. They've really up'd their cocktail game and was amazed by the Cauliflower Milk Punch (vegan friendly!). The poutine croquettes are worth going for alone, great beef dishes, I was a little dispointed by the duck confit fettuccine for the lack of big chucks of duck - there's lots of duck but it's pulverized into the sauce. All round good spot though that deserves the 'hood's support.
Wonderful service with attention to detail and absolutely outstanding food made for a very special family birthday. We can’t wait to go back!
We have been there about 5 or 6 times and Solstice never disappoints. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a restaurant with amazing food and service staff. Will definitely be back
Simply perfect.
I could go on forever about the food itself; the beef, lamb, venison, salmon - no matter the meat it's phenomenal, and even more spectacular is the dish that's created around it.
The cocktails are superb, the espressos and cappuccinos are delectable, and the wine. My God, the wine.
It's not just about the food though - the service is exquisite, somehow remaining incredibly knowledgeable without being pretentiousness.
Solstice is a must-eat if you're in Edmonton longer than two hours.
Went with company of 3 and we each shared main courses and appetizers and needless to say everything we each sampled was good and everything we ate from one another plate we each would have bought on our own accord so very impressed as it didn't seem what you ordered it was delicious. For portion size 2 of my friends were filled and had to get a carry out dish while the other was left wanting, but all in all believe it was fair. The drinks, as well was a very nice touch, and very tasteful. Would definitely recommend it for a fine dining experience for a couple, group outing, or event. Well met, well played.
Food was amazing! Best beef tenderloin I’ve had!!! Service was top notch and the entire experience was better than I could have expected.
Amazing cocktails the wild boar & venison were above & beyond!
Best meal I’ve had in awhile.
Food was delicious but service and ambiance were average. Took almost 10 minutes to be greeted/water filled once seated at table and waitress seemed to ignore us unless she had to give us food/debit machine. Also beer was served in chilled glasses (which generally you should avoid). Overall since experience is expensive you would expect a more polished presentation, so slightly disappointed, however thank you for the experience.
Always a great meal. Inventive, delicious, menu that changes 4 times per year.
I was looking forward to dine here as I have heard amazing things about this place! The appetizer was good so was the salad but I was disappointed in my entree. They ran out of the sea bass and substituted the dish with haddock fish! They overlooked it and it was too dry! Their only saving grace was the amazing Panna Cotta. I am so glad it somewhat made up for the lousy meal I had. The jury still stands on whether I would visit this place again...
My girlfriend and I were here for her birthday and the food was outstanding. This restaurant might be one of the best in the entire city
Fabulous dining experience! Our taste buds were on overload! Our server was very knowledgeable of the menu, ingredients and preparation of the dishes. Her description of each item made it an adventure worth waiting for. Even though the atmosphere is cozy casual, don't let that fool you for the exceptional culinary artistry you will experience!
