   Quiet environment, but no privacy, the tables are super close 2ft apart, all the time we heard what was being said at the next table so we were intimidated to talk. Low tables, if you're wearing heels you can't cross your legs, I'm 5.6 I felt super uncomfortable and uncomfortable. Restricted menu, very few options. The wine was literally warm. Finally, the skirt steak starter was wonderful, very tasty and a fair portion for the price, the spice ceviche also pleased us very much, which alleviated our disappointment a little. We arrived at the desserts, which were delicious and well plated. Overall our rating was a 3. We know now that it is definitely not a place for dates or meetings .

   $5 charges per person to cut a cake that I brought, and put it on a plate is ridiculous! Also $10 to valet park is probably a little too much.

   Waited over an hour after my reservation restaurant was overpacked food was delicious though ! Whoever the chef is he is absolutely keeping this place open … service was average front staff could not handle the amount of people coming in. Restaurant needs better time management and make less reservations if they are overbooked.

    The food is delicious, this was my second time dining there and I was pleased on both occasions. The service is great as well and I will definitely be back. I highly recommend this restaurant.

    Classy restaurant to celebrate special occasions. Well staffed. Professional photographer available to capture special moments. Food delicious, great service, and romantic ambiance. Loved the squash soup!

    When reservations are made you should be able to arrive 15 mins prior as suggested and be seated by the time your reservations are for, not have to wait for an hour pass your reservation time before being seated. Therefore being at a over crowded, over charged bar. First time visiting not sure we will return.

    We attended the Valentine's Pre-fix menu offering. The physical atmosphere itself is beautiful - top notch! However, the seating is the most cramped ice ever experienced. We were literally maybe a foot away from table to table. Also, the windows are great for view, but there was no heat at all! I had to drape my coat over my shoulders. Finally, although food was good, my Latino husband had a big problem with the small portions. LOL

    Valentines Day was the occasion. Amazing staff, and the meals was delicious. Also, drinks were on point. I would definitely recommend. The ambience felt really good.

    Nice location, views, decor and atmosphere. Due to the Valentine pre-weekend the restaurant was over stuffed with dual sitting tables predominating the dining floor with limited space in-between tables. At times border uncomfortable and feeling crammed. Food was alright. Appetizers seemed better then entrees and overall slightly overpriced for the quality. Opted for the appetizer platter in order to experience a variety of tastings. Mojitos were decent. Overall an ok experience with no regrets but nothing to rave about or that would justify a second visit.

    Bartenders were swift and friendly. Our waitress was knowledgeable and made wise suggestions. Food was very well prepared and quite delicious. Ambiance was upbeat and colorful. A home run. .

    From beginning to end my dining experience was overall amazing. The food was delicious and the sangria was amazing. The staff was friendly and very attentive. Im happy I choose to celebrate my husband’s birthday at Son Cubano.

    The food and drinks were great but the communication in this restaurant wasn’t good at all. My party and I️ left VERY upset at the end of the night because the waitstaff took the cake I️ bought for my birthday, to another table. I even proceeded to tell one of the waiters that was singing that it was my cake but he just ignore what I️ said and did not try to stop it. It shouldn’t have happen at all. I️ have worked in the service industry for many years and this has never happen before anywhere else. You need to ask the table or at least confirm with the table before you bring anything out. It was a special ordered cake and now I️ can’t have any because the table next to us blew all over it. Very upsetting .

    The ambience and decor were perfect. We were greeted as soon as we walked in and waited for about one minute before we were late to our table. The view from our table was outstanding. We were seated by a window with a beautiful view of New York City across the water. We received near perfect Butler service from Johnny, who was very friendly and welcoming and informative. Our drinks, appetizers and entrées arrived in perfect timing. The cocktails were a bit pricey, but were strong enough to only require one each. We ordered the short ribs and pernil which were perfectly plated. And they were not small portions. Johnny was very attentive with the exception of remembering to fill my glass of water when it was near empty. There was a photographer who was going around taking photos and we did buy a glass framed 5x7 photo of us which cost us $20. There was also an extensive wine menu. I would absolutely visit this restaurant again and I would highly recommend anyone to patronize this restaurant for any occasion. PS: 18% gratuity automatically added.
