Our special spiced, revved up burger. Cheddar, guacamole, lettuce, tomato, and sriracha mayo. Choice of side salad or roasted potatoes
Roughly chopped smoked salmon cured in lime juice, garnished with slivers of onion, tomatoes and coriander. All served on top of a corn chip for an added crunch
Light and fluffy French toast topped with whipped cream and berries. Served with 2 eggs, bacon. Available Saturdays and Sundays only
This was our first visit and we will definitely be coming back! The first floor ambiance is wonderful and the food was fabulous!
Very good brunch meals and mimosas, making with excellent service.
We got a few different apps and the cheeseboard. The Cheeseboard was great! We did run out of bread quickly and when we asked for more we were told it would be an up charge (didn’t realize a few more pieces of bread would cost us $4) but otherwise super yummy cheese choices and accompaniment’s. The restaurant was very accommodating when I asked for no bacon on the sun dried tomato Mac n cheese. The flavor was delicious but consistency was very thick which made it hard to eat more than a few bites. I think if it was a side to another entree such as their salmon or alongside a burger it would have been much better. Overall food was pretty good but nothing amazing. A lot of their food options were very carb/starch heavy (lots of apps on crostinis or meals with pasta, potatoes, rolls, etc.. and very limited on sides you could get with your meal). I would recommend to someone looking for a good cheeseboard and wine selection.
Was a great spot for New Year’s Eve dinner we had a small room to ourselves! Food was good the cheese board was excellent
Great service and fantastic selection of wine! Nice ambiance , too
Not a lot more to add to this survey ... the food and service were both outstanding and the restaurant is cozy and friendly. Highly recommended and we will return.
We were there on Taco Tuesday night and enjoyed the variety to choose from as well as the option to have a flight of wines to taste. My husband was the outlier and had the burger which he thought was fantastic. Diners were well spaced out and we were able carry on conversations with our guests without having trouble hearing them! Outdoors looked inviting as well--they do have heaters, so might try that next time.
Just disappointing for what you are expecting when something is called Sonoma Cellar.
Menu was weak on cheese and charcuterie options and extremely poor choices for wine by the glass.
Excellent service, excellent food, great ambiance. A perfect midday stop to celebrate a close friends 60th birthday! The complimentary glasses of cava were an added bonus!
The Sonoma Cellar is a delightful place to enjoy a nice glass of wine and delicious small plates. Everything is just wonderful.
The food was great but the service was horrible. After our first serve left for the day, we were not greeted by our second serve after 20 mins of asking for the check. We had to order multiple times and with multiple people. It was like our table was forgotten while the two other tables were closely attended to. Very disappointing.
It was just ok
Had the huevos rancheros and would
We ate outside on back patio
I had the fish tacos and they were excellent - not too spicy! The Brussel sprouts were pretty good but I've had better elsewhere.
I was thankful for the excellent personable service.
The tables are very close together, for those of you worried about Covid. I was upstairs and the ambience was very quaint and relaxed.
Excellent food in a cozy wine garden experience. Service by all was impeccable capped off by Diego’s table side presence.
Nice brunch spot with solid wine list. The food menu was a bit off. Not a place that’s gluten free or wide ranging in vegetarian options. Heavily pork based. We’d. S to offer chicken, meatless or turkey meat options would have been nice.
The patio is quite nice; really appreciated being able to reserve an outdoor table given the pandemic. Would have been nice to have heaters out there, though. Our server was friendly once she appeared, which took longer than it should have. Our entrees arrived while our appetizers were barely touched, so timing should be improved.
This was my second time here &, as much as I love the location & the setting, the food just isn’t good enough to go back. It’s not terrible… it’s just “fine”. And I can get better than “fine” elsewhere.
Came to town to meet friends we haven’t seen in 30 years. Waitstaff extraordinarily patient with us while we talked to catch up and with our questions about the menu. The food was excellent start to finish and we sat outside due to Covid. The heaters were not on but they have them for cooler nights. We enjoyed ourselves so much!
Delicious and great service! Will be back to try more of the wines/ciders. The pear cider was wonderful and our food was too!
This was an absolute pleasure with fine service, outstanding wines and food beyond your dreams in a beautiful space. I cannot wait to return.
A very nice host and cute garden for sure. The selection is a bit small but the brunch was decent.
Fantastic time. Food, ambiance, and service were all too notch. My wife and I have found a great place in Old Towne Alexandria to return for dinner. Thanks everyone!
Service was slow and the waiter apparently had not washed: distinct body odor that was off-putting.
The food was just OK and expensive for what it was. I would have complained at the time but for being the host.
Way more pricey than it deserves.
Perfect small location for a nice dinner combined with wine tasting.
Great spot at Old Town Alexandria for a walk pre or post dining at Sonoma.
I have enjoyed it every time I have been.
I think some outdoor fans would have helped cool it off and blow away a LOT of fruit flys.
Wonderful back patio on a perfect early fall day.
Attentive service, great food and great wine. Had the tasting flight - good stuff! Def coming back.
Reunion of friends after 2 decades!
Good food and nice outdoor area.
Food and service OUTSTANDING!! The little garden in the back could be adorable, but it needs some work. And PLEASEEEEEEEEEEEEE use stem wine glasses or at least have some if your guest would prefer. I know they are harder to wash, but its the whole wine experience and you are a wine place.
But it was great!
Great brunch spot! The back patio is lovely! Perfect for small to medium size groups and great service too.
Wonderful outdoor patio garden tables in the back. Excellent menu and service. Loved our food and the wine sampler. Terrific place for our anniversary dinner.
The staff was amazing, the food was great, the service was slow due to short resources but overall very pleasant.
The ambiance was fantastic and I’ll definitely eat here again
Exceeded all expectations, server was very helpful, wine was GREAT
Food was delicious!!! Outside garden area was delightful !!
Wonderful wine selection and recommendations from our server.
Excellent experience twice recently. Appreciated Rick and Jen’s help with special occasion wine selection too. The menu and presentation were appealing and thoughtful. This place is a gem. Will return, recommend to others, and join the wine club.
We had a wonderful experience that was truly special for us. The food and ambiance was incredible. We will be going back the next time we are in town.
The only place in the east coast that makes me feel like I’m in the north bay. The food is fantastic, love the staff’s wine knowledge, recommendations and friendliness.
Highly recommended to come and have a glass of wine and some good food
Great food, great service and really nice patio.
Great wine as election, and you can order flights to try 4 at a time.
