Sophie's reminds me of forgotten department store shopping days with a sophisticated ladies lunch included from days gone by . . . and the gentlemen working at Sophie's offer "above and beyond service" with their immediate attention to the table, outstanding service and personality plus. Our waiter, Mike, was exceptionally entertaining, humorous and a real nice addition to the experience! Keep up the good work!

Great place for lunch. Nice menu options and food well prepared. Not a large place so reservations helpful. Also gluten friendly. We love it there. Nice and quiet and away from busy noisy restaurants.

Big burger was a disappointment.. bun good, beer average, bacon jam has some tough bacon… didn’t like the mayo, and lettuce on this burger.. wait staff should ask if all condiments are desired on this burger. Would recommend restaurant, but advise others to scrutinize the menu and ask questions…..

We decided to have our 23rd Wedding Anniversary lunch celebration at Sophies...we love the food, the ambiance and the staff. We have been customers since Sophies opened and often plan our outings around lunch there. Mark (the manager) and all of his staff do a wonderful job of presenting a delectable menu along with meticulous and personalized service. They always go beyond merely presenting a meal - they are truly interested in how they can best serve you. So many delightful options on the menu - certainly their truffle fries, the Mac and Cheese is to die for and even their burgers are delish! We often have their salmon - done to perfection every time and my husband loves their soups. Sophie's is "one of a kind" - Just like Sophie herself was! Make sure you make reservations - it has become extremely popular!

A re-visit to Sophie’s after a year was a very pleasant experience. Welcoming professional staff add to the comfortable atmosphere of this delightfully furnished restaurant. The lunch menu is extremely limited but from eavesdropping neighboring tables all items appeared to be enjoyed. Your reviewer settled for “the smash burger” which was two burgers mixed together on a brioche bun lined with shredded lettuce mixed with garlic aioli and blue cheese and covered in a mass of shredded onions; served with French fries. Unashamedly I cleared the plate and just to ensure my calorie count would hit a record high figure I followed with a slice of delicious key lime pie. I hope this high standard continues because over the years there has been periods of poor cuisine at Sophie’s.

When "today's specials" and "today's desserts" are described to you, be sure to ASK THE PRICE so you are not shocked when you get the bill. Sophie's has a good quality food and the prices are expected to be higher than the norm simply because it sits in Saks. However, we decided to try one of their new recipe desserts (coffee cake bread pudding) and when the bill was presented it was $20, more than each of our entree's. Unfortunately, it was not worth $10 regarding portion or flavor.

Menu pricing has gotten extremely high. A sandwich cost was $29 they did have a couple of options for fried green tomato sandwiches that were $19 used to be a great place to stop into for lunch when in the area. Due to increased pricing I do not believe I would be going back. Due to business volume service was also slower than normal.

Our group meets monthly for lunch and Sophie’s is a favorite spot. Sophie’s accommodates our group (6-12) in an excellent manner and we feel as if we have a private dining room. The service is impeccable and the manager is always attentive.

Great food, service, & ambiance! Drinks were good. The summertini was delicious. My absolute favorite was the beet Brussels salad. The Truffle fries were fresh. My prime rib Philly cheese steak was tender with good flavor. Definitely recommend!
