   Wonderful service. Mains were fabulous. We weren’t crazy about two of the apples, the beef tar tar and the scallop ceviche. Maybe test’s just us. But everything else was first rate.

   Food excellent. Pacing excellent. Large, varied menu for all tastes. Salads very good. Fish dishes, bouillabaisse ordered all very good. Didn’t appreciate the wine shaming when we didn’t order an expensive bottle of wine. That has to coached out of the waiter.

   It was our 10th Wedding Anniversary and as always Sorrel was a hit! Mozen took excellent care of us. The food, cocktails and wine selection are all fantastic!

   Sorrel Rosedale is a dining experience that you are sure to enjoy. This was our first time dining there with friends, but it will not be our last. From the moment we entered the restaurant, which was filled with diners on a Wednesday night, we knew it was going to be a great dining experience. The menu has lots of great choices. The dishes are creatively prepared and delicious and the quality of the food and service are superb. The wine list is extensive, and the cocktails are creative and perfectly executed. After our cocktails, we enjoyed the following appetizers: Grilled Calamari, one-half dozen Oysters, and a Bufala Mozzarella salad. All of the appetizers were fresh, flavourful, beautifully presented and so delicious. For our mains, two of us had the Grilled Orata and two had the Duck Confit. All of us loved our choices. To finish off our meal, we ordered the following desserts: the Chocolate Torte and the Afogato. Besides the food, the restaurant itself is a beautiful oasis for dining. The décor is modern and chic and the atmosphere is relaxing. Another plus is the staff. They are friendly, professional and knowledgeable. We appreciated the excellent service we received from Mohsen. His friendly and professional manner as well as his excellent suggestions made for an enjoyable and memorable dining experience. Thanks to the chefs for creating and executing such amazing dishes. Their creativity and dedication to their profession was appreciated. Sorrel Rosedale is one restaurant that deserves a 5-star rating.

    We sat on the patio which was lovely - not as noisy as the restaurant interior. However, our waiter got my order wrong (Dover sole, which cost a mere $85, was swimming in butter even though I had requested butter sauce on the side). Though I hate sending things back, I couldn’t eat it so I sent the sole back. Waiter proudly came to tell me that they were “scraping off the butter” and would put the fish back on the grill. I declined that unappetizing offer and went hungry instead. Spent our wedding anniversary eating bread while my husband ate his entree alone. Overall a miserable experience. We left as soon as my husband had finished his entree, and went to cheer ourselves up at a different restaurant. Definitely an anniversary celebration I will remember.

    The food was excellent as was the service, but the noise level was very high. It made it very difficult to talk. As well, someone at the bar was wearing so much perfume, that I got an instant headache, which added to the discomfort.

    The food was very good. It was quite noisy and crowded in the restaurant. It is a very popular spot. The service was excellent. What was a surprise and which we did not expect, was a corkage fee when ordering a full bottle of wine. I find this a little excessive since they are already charging a premium for the wine itself (which is not unexpected, all restaurants charge a premium for alcohol). I don't think even Las Vegas does this for wines ordered in the restaurant. Not sure if we would order a bottle of wine there again!

    It was our first time and a truly memorable evening. We were greeted right away and shown to our table. The waiter and service was impeccable. The food was the star. The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere and is busy with great energy ! For the quality , the prices are excellent value. Going back very soon.

    For these prices, I was expecting a really nice ambience and service. However we were seated at the very end of the bar counter (for a dinner), next to the door by the staff passage to their counter, with very little space and constant traffic by the elbow. There were many others also having dinner on the bar counter too. Staff was ok, but not very attentive. Overall, definitely not worth the money.

    Far too loud for a romantic evening. Sitting across from one another, there shouldn't be a need to shout. Typical of restaurants these days, the service charge suggestion (which started at 20%) was added to the bill after the tax was added. This is a regular scam, but should be beneath Sorrel's supposed premium status. The waiter was affronted that I adjusted the amount, not appreciating that his lazy pouring of the water, blocking eye contact and from the front of the diners as opposed to from the side, is not to standard in a premium restaurant.

    Wide range of choices on menu. Attentive service. As the evening progressed, the restaurant got very busy and increasingly noisy making conversation challenging. The food was good but not inspiring. Heirloom tomatoes looked very nice but lacked flavour. The daily catch was orata grilled and deboned on a bed of rapini. Decent but basic. Flourless chocolate cake dessert was very good. Wine selection was excellent.

    Very nice dinner in a very pretty setting. Waiter was great and food was very good. Everything was nice and fresh. Will definitely return. The local botoxed seem to convene at the bar. At times it was very loud but to be expected as it was very busy.
