    Our party of six recently spent a wonderful evening at the downtown Sorrentino’s location As usual the service , food quality and atmosphere was top notch ! The wait staff and manager were very attentive and treated us first class . The kitchen staff were on point as well and all the meals were 10/10 Highly recommend this restaurant

    Waiter’s attentiveness was only average, but we will try this restaurant again. When we first arrived, we were impressed that he asked us if we had a performance to attend, and we said “yes.” Tasty food and good selection, but salmon overcooked and vegetables not hot on one of the dishes. Waiter did not check back, so no chance to tell him. Also had to ask for water refills and ground pepper, and later, disappointed when I had to get up and find him to pay the bill in time to make our performance.

    Fantastic place to eat! It feels like you are walking into a restaurant in Italy! So welcoming and the manger is so nice and friendly! The waiters are exceptional and the food is absolutely delicious! Worth every penny. We will always go back every time we are in Edmonton.

    It was my daughters first fancy dining experience, she was jaw drop I fly impressed. The waiter made her a delicious child friendly drink from the bar that made her feel grown up and like a little lady. The food was amazing and the atmosphere was outstanding.

    Excellent service by attentive but non intrusive staff. We were seated in an alcove by a fireplace. Very intimate setting for a meal as a couple. Food presentation was wonderful and the meals were cooked perfectly and tasted amazing. A refreshingly quiet meal experience in an elegant and tastefully decorated restaurant. Our second time there this Fall, and we will definitely be returning.

    We love Sorrintinos for a bite to eat before the symphony. But we felt that the amount being charged for sharing a few appetizers has become a bit outrageous. We shared the 6 piece assortment of starters which are very tiny… Cost $30.00 Also shared the 5 piece Gamberi. We thought the shrimp we be jumbo sized. Instead they were quite small and ordinary. The sauce was delicious though

    One of our favourite restaurants. We often dine here before Citadel Theatre performances. The service was good in spite of the restaurant being very busy. My wife had a pasta dish with a touch of sambuca added to the sauce. Her comment was it was certainly a small touch as she didn't taste any sambuca at all.

    Sorrentino's went out of there way to accommodate us. Had an early event at the Citadel and they opened the restaurant early so that we could complete our meal before attending our event. Food and service were excellent. Very enjoyable evening and will definitely be there again.

    We went to Sorrentino's before the hockey game on Oct. 21st and had a wonderful meal! The food was DEVINE and the service was excellent! This was our 4th time to the restaurant and it definitely will not be our last! BTW - the gluten free bread is so good!!! And they were able to make the bruschetta appetizer gluten free - was a nice surprise!

    I hold many business meals at Sorrentinos downtown. Food is always prepared with obvious thought to presentation and quality. The descriptions of the specials is also often well crafted to sound appetizing. The bartender is fantastic, ask for a recommendation and try something new. Wait staff is caring and attentive. The noise levels for a quieter place can sometimes be louder than anticipated, but never fully compromises the ambiance. Highly reccommend.

    Our dinner was great! Served by Serge who was quick, paid attention to detail and gave amazing service. Replaced our cutlery and gave us side plates without asking. Our meals were delicious, except the arrabbiata was a bit salty for my liking but still we enjoyed! I recommend Sorrentino’s always!
