We have tried other midtown restaurants no one comes close to the consistently excellent food, beverage and service of South City. We love sitting outside but the restaurant needs to work with their Atlanta city councilperson to control cars on the street with their sound systems turned to illegally high levels. It detracts from what would otherwise be a 100% magnificent experience.

Mothers Day Brunch was great! Megan our server was wonderful, she was pleasant and attentive. The Beverage manager also took the time to visit our table when my Son ordered a cocktail they did not have she offered him a great alternative. Would definitely recommend THIS location. Side note had a confirmed reservation at the Buckhead location to celebrate my Birthday on Jan 3 rd 2022 went n the location was CLOSED! Called no answer. Left several messages for the Manager Never heard back. Hesitated to book with SSC again. Glad we took a chance on Midtown.

Was recommended by a local friend, we were out of town and this establishment accommodating and refreshing with the variety on the menu. Fried Chicken was perfect. Fried green tomatoes first time ever, so good.

We absolutely loved this restaurant. Our server was Pablo he was so awesome. He made us laugh and was on top of getting us everything we asked for. We are not from ATL however if we are in ATL we will make a reservation again. The food was wonderful as well. I had the chicken and my wife had the pork chop. Both were cooked perfectly and delicious. Awesome experience.

Made a reservation 1 month in advance for a weeknight - asked for quiet table. The restaurant is ridiculously loud. Even the waitress had to ask us to repeat our water choice. We did not get a quiet table, or even a nice one - sat us upstairs with parties of 12 (we were a two). There was a table for 4 on patio (quietest part of restaurant) but hostess wouldn't seat us there. Walked by the restaurant an hour later and that seat and another next to it were open. Awful. Will never come here, won't recommend. There's so many restaurants - we don't have to settle! Read the reservation comments, restaurants. Sheesh!

Great place for a family brunch. Three of us enjoyed their fried chicken which is some of the best that Atlanta has to offer. The fried chicken is accompanied with delicious greens and smashed potatoes. My wife ordered the brisket sandwich on a Gluten-free bun. She loves this sandwich and enjoys the availability of GF options on the menu. We started with a plate of chicken livers which are excellent. Our server was very attentive and helped with drink and food options.

Exceptional service!! We had a 2:30p reservation and the server was gracious enough to ensure we got dessert although the kitchen closed at 3p. My friend and I lost track of time and sat in the outdoor dining area until 4p. Our server came over and politely informed us that the restaurant was closed and we could join them for dinner when they reopened. She was SO COURTEOUS! Really appreciated her approach and her hospitality throughout our brunch experience. We’ll be back soon. Thanks so much!!

We had a fantastic experience at South City Kitchen. The staff was very attentive and friendly, especially our server, Dorian. We had a hard time choosing from all the tempting menu items, but she made great recommendations. The food was amazing!

First visit in a while, and we will make sure to not wait as long for next visit! Service was great: hosts, server and manager all seemed really happy to have us there. Food was very good: she crab soup only needed to be heated a bit more but was still delicious, and they happily accommodated gluten free requests. The house cured salmon, trout and chicken livers were all top notch, as they always have been.

We came with a party of 6 and enjoyed a wonderful meal. The service was excellent by our waiter Pablo who was assisted by other equally friendly and efficient wait staff. The only thing I wish was different is the noise level was high but that is expected when you have a popular restaurant that is full. It's amazing that with all the guests that the kitchen kept up but it was all tasty and lovely. Thanks for a great night!

Waiters rushed us and didn’t really pay much attention to what we needed. Food was cool, But definitely don’t suggest making a reservation past 7Pm. They close @ 9 and those waiters make you feel every minute you stay past that time lol we got there at 8:30 for our reservation, so you can imagine how swift our meal was
