    I can’t say enough about this phenomenal experience. Our server (Dana) was the BEST! He was patient, knowledgeable, and accommodating. We ordered the sausage fritters but didn’t care for them, so he voluntarily took them without question. We loved the smoked trout appetizer. I ordered the trout for my meal (I guess I like trout….lol) and it was delicious. I don’t usually care for peas, but they were perfect with the trout. My date ordered the fried chicken which is always juicy & tasty. For desert, we shared the coconut cake and it was also delicious. I was pleasantly surprised at how good it tasted. I also had the strawberry basil lemonade cocktail which was a great choice. The experience overall was SUPERB & I can’t wait to go back.

    My first visit to this location of SCK. Dana provided good service and menu recommendations. It was getting late and I just opted for the bbq shrimp for my entrée and ordered a side of sweet potato wedges. When they say wedges, they literally mean wedges. It is a sweet potato cut into thirds. The bbq shrimp was good, just wish it would have came with more bread to enjoy the sauce.

    Brunch for Four Outdoors: Surrounded by loud guests. It would be helpful if servers would notice noisey guests and ask them to tone it down. Disappointed with Shrimp and Grits--served as a soup--tasteless grits swimming in smokey sauce--tasteless shrimp swimming in smokey sauce. Crab cakes okay, but nothing special. Chicken and waffles okay, but nothing special. Service not so good. Not worth the cost.

    The king biscuit brunch entree was more than enough food and was excellent. I did not need to order the fried okra side (which was also very tasty). Nice reisling, too.

    We hadn’t been to South City Kitchen Vinings since before COVID as we had moved from the area. We were excited to make a reservation for my wife’s birthday. Unfortunately, it wasn’t the great experience we had in the past. We were seated next to a bridal party of approximately 14 or more that was so loud we could barely talk to each other, despite there being other empty tables that they could have sat us at. (We should have asked to be moved, but didn’t realize how bad it was going be until we had already placed our beverage and appetizer order.) When they seated us they gave us brunch menus instead of dinner menus. When no one came to check on us within the first 5+ minutes, I had to hunt the staff down just so we could look at the menus we would be ordering from. We placed our drink order ahead of our appetizer order. The service was definitely off as we didn’t even receive our drink order until well after the multiple appetizers we had ordered arrived and had been fully consumed. When someone who wasn’t our sever finally brought the drinks out, she carried them carelessly sloshing out ¼ of the cocktails on to the floor, which is disappointing when your cocktail costs $15+. The food wasn’t as good as it used to be either. One of the apps we ordered was fried green tomatoes. Who serves their guest the heal of a tomato that is fibrous and half the size of all of the other slices on the plate? Mistakes were a plenty, and unfortunately, I wasn’t able to give my wife the birthday dinner experience we had anticipated. It’s definitely not what we signed up for when we made the reservation.

    Longtime customer of this restaurant. Went to celebrate birthday dinner. Without question, it was the worst service we’ve ever experienced. Food was very good as it usually has been but the poor service makes us not want to return.

    Not the best experience that I’ve had at a fifth group restaurant. Really long greet time. Someone did greet the table for the server, but I would say it was at least 10 minutes before we even got water. The server was very sweet, and I could tell she was trying to do her steps of service, but I feel like she missed the mark a little. Our entrees came out while we were still eating our appetizers, no fresh silverware. When she finally got out of the weeds she tried to overcompensate by over explaining a very simple dessert menu, but it was just too much. I would have ordered another glass of wine, but she dropped the check on us and stopped water service as well. Overall the food was ok, fried green tomatoes and Caesar salad where good like usual. I got the fried chicken with mashed potatoes and Brussels. The mash was very gloopy and the Brussels were soggy and gross. Overall not the best value and I was a little disappointed.

    I was not told we had a time frame in which to complete our lunch. We were asked to leave the table an hour half but we only had one server for 15 people. How can that be done happily with one server? Otherwise, everything else was okay.

    Service was excellent! Thankfully, we had a reservation and was seated promptly. It was busy during a Sunday brunch time and the restaurant was hosting a private party on the patio. Our waiter was attentive and food came out quickly. I had ordered chicken and waffles which was good. Chicken was cooked well, juicy and a nice serving size. The fried green tomatoes were okay, a bit on the saltier side. Overall, great experience!

    Me and my wife love this spot. I ordered the she-crab soup, Crabcake, and Catfish. Every dish was amazing. I ordered the One-Way ticket which was a tequila cocktail and I was impressed on the taste. I highly recommend this restaurant. I forgot to mention their bread is the best!!!

    Food was great as usual. The service was strange. We didn’t seem to have a server assigned to our table. So we didn’t get essentially any service after we placed our initial order. It was my first time in this location. I know the other locations are usually great. So I will still go to the other locations.

    We dined here for brunch for the first time and the food was very good as was our server. We were a party of 5 and we were seated next to a party of 16-18 ladies. For most of the meal I as well as others at my table could not hear the conversation at the other side of our table for the LOUD shouts and laughter at the next table. I watched 2 tables the size of ours sit empty for over an hour. Why would you seat any table next to a large party such as this when you have other options available? I'm glad they were obviously having a good time, but we may look for other brunch alternatives in the future.

    Had chicken and waffles. Nothing extraordinary. Oddly, no butter offered for waffle. Other tables had water service. We had to ask for water and initiate beverage service. It was very apparent that the wait person was more interested in serving the next group of people (more tables -more tips) as he kept giving time lines. This is my second visit to this location and I can honestly say the service is much better at the midtown location so I will not be back.
