In a city saturated with restaurants it sometimes strikes one as strange that there are relatively few purely vegetarian or vegan restaurants in Hong Kong. Ahimsa Buffet is one of these rare gems, whose premises on the ground floor of the Wah Hai Mansion along North Point’s Fort Street is therefore a hotspot for non-meat-eaters looking for affordable, quality vegetarian cuisine. It’s also something of a unique concept in that the restaurant only offers two menus!
