Palmettos on the Bayou offers a beautiful, rustic location for private events such as weddings, as well as a regular lunch, brunch and dinner service for the public. The beautiful natural scenery of cypress trees and oaks hung with Spanish moss are the perfect backdrop for the Palmettos on the Bayou's menu of fine Louisiana Contemporary cuisine. Executive Chef Ross Dover, formerly of Restaurant August, focuses on locally sourced ingredients with everything made from scratch. In addition to our regular menu we also feature a Seasonal Tasting menu. Enjoy gumbo, fried oysters or Louisiana crab cakes to start your meal. Entrees include steak, fresh fish, shrimp and more. Finish your meal with one of our homemade desserts and an after dinner drink. Live music for Friday, Saturday and Sunday brunches as well as dinner on Thursday - Saturday.
