   The food was good, but the service was a little slow and disorganized. I have been going to this restaurant for 20 years and We have always loved the food and especially the service with Marc who has served us so many times. There seems to be a large turnover in the staff.

   L’ambiance était parfaite, le service excellent et courtois. La nourriture était plutôt en deçà de nos attentes, le steak cuisson saignante devrait être chaud, était froid et pour un Sterling Angus, beaucoup de nerfs. La soupe excellente mais salée, les champignons vraiment trop salés. J’avais déjà eu ce genre d’expérience avec la soupe aux onions… pour le prix, plutôt décevant.

   Super bon ! le steak surlonge avec une crevette géante et une pétoncle étaient savoureux. Peter est un hôte professionnel et remarquable qui est à sa place dans cet excellent restaurant. Merci aux serveurs pour leurs dévouement et leurs sévices incroyables!

    I had the Cowboy steak and it was the best steak I’ve ever had. The grilling process over a wood burning flame was outstanding. It was tender, juicy and very large (20 ounces). Everything else on the plate like the baked potato and mashed potatoes was average, but the steak made up for it. The escargot was also very good, but the lobster bisque was average. The dessert was delicious and the right portion size.

    This was the best steakhouse I’ve ever been to. I’m not a big steak person, we went for my partner, but I would definitely go back for more of that tenderloin. Excellent meal.

    We were celebrating several family birthdays, including the newest member (1 year old). All of the staff were extremely attentive and made us feel comfortable and welcome. We received everything we ordered in good time. We even had a plate of mashed potatoes delivered early to keep the young children from having to wait - a great touch. The adult meals were perfectly cooked, the wine was a great match for our steaks, and we left at the end of the evening with some carry-out as we just could not eat it all. Dining at Sterling has been a tradition for a number of years, and it was great to be able to go back again after COVID. I highly recommend them for the quality of the meal and especially the service.

    A spot for a special night out, when you want to have grilled steak. Overall food was good, service for us was a bit lacking, however not too bad - just slow a bit. One issue on the food was corrected quickly when pointed out the mistake. Steaks needed a tad more spice (salt?) and the sauces were just fair. Oysters were great, could benefit from some fresh shredded horseradish vs. Tabasco. Great Old Fashioned to start, and the Zinfandel was yummy, not too spicy (had just a glass). They advertise 1/2 bottles, however when I asked, they did not seem to have any - for me would be appreciated.

    Service was awesome, the food was delicious. The steak was cooked very well a true rare. I should have upgraded the steak the cut I had was a bit too grizzly for my liking but that's my issue not the chefs. Next time I go back I will ask for the topping on the steak on the side so I can taste the subtle smoke flavour better. Great bartender can whip up whatever you desire and the wine list is exhaustive. I felt like a VIP thanks for the wonderful evening.

    We are regulars there for many years almost 20 years . We did staff Christmas party, birthday party, anniversary, and special occasion. This time is was for a friends birthday . We all decide to go with the table d’hôte We Waited for 25 minutes for the soup then 35 minutes before the appetizer come by the time we receive our main course was already two hours that we were sitting and waiting our server didn’t come to see us at any time to tell us why it was taking so long. When the time for desert came, they brought us our dessert that came with the table d’hôte but never mention our friend birthday which we specify in our reservation. I’m very disappointed we were there for three hours and a half which I forgot to mention that our coquille Saint Jacques was cold, and my main course was just warm. At the price that we paid, I felt that I got ripped off! I mentioned it to our server at the end, and she told us to talk to maître D witch was nowhere to be found Very disappointing !

    Nous l’avons essayé pour une première fois, mais nous n’y retournerons pas. Certes, la viande est de qualité, mais jamais pour le prix. Les plats n’étaient à peu près pas assaisonnés et les accompagnements étaient très ordinaires; loin d’être raffinés comme on s’y attendait. Dans ce standing de restaurant, il est possible de beaucoup mieux manger rapport qualité/prix. Par ailleurs, le service est plutôt ordinaire. Correct, mais sans plus. Les commentaires des clients autour abondaient dans le même sens.
