This is by far my favorite place to eat! The ambiance is amazing. Food is great! Service is excellent!
Nice lunch, it was a beautiful day, so we sat outside, which was very pleasant.
We will be back.
Great meal as always, steaks were outstanding
This was the second time i dined there and both times i had to beg for a wine list and both times the bottle i ordered was not available. I don’t think they want to sell wine.
Food was very good and served hot but with an hour wait.
Great food, great service, and great price range. You can get a delicious entree from $33 to $133. The appetizers were great and so was the entree. I had the dinner filet and my wife had the veal. They were both cooked exactly as we ordered and tasted amazing. Anyone who had anything negative to say about this place is crazy. My wife, friends, and I all loved this place and it was our first visit. As the owner said referring to any negative reviews....FAKE NEWS lol. Definitely give this place a shot, you won’t regret. We will definitely be back!!!
Contrary to most places where you'd like your food to come out quickly, this is the kind of place where you want it to be slow so you enjoy the place. In our experience, it came out really fast even though we ordered appetizers salad and steaks. We didn't get a chance to enjoy the atmosphere and each other. I guess since we weren't drinking alcohol it was like chop chop turn those tables. We got the "Kings table" which is code for worst seat in the house. It was kind of sticking out in the way of 2 pathways. Service was good, waiter was super nice. My dish (Ribeye) was excellent, my wife's Oscar filet was a bit dry and lacked the flavor and tenderness that my steak had. We didn't want to complain as it wasnt horrible. Overall it was an Ok experience and although pricey, it can be worth it if you allow the time to enjoy the courses.
Great food, great service! We had a wonderful Fathers' Day dinner and are already planning our next visit.
Excellent food served fresh and hot, service ok.
Great. It’s always great when
As always the service was lacking took an hour to get through 2 courses. Drink glasses were left empty for 30 mins during that time. Next two courses, including our steaks came out within 10 mins. Felt the steaks were both overcooked and had been sitting for a while. Ari tried his best to fix the problem but at that point we didn't want to wait for new steaks to be done. Knowing that the service normally lacks, we expected high quality food. However, we were disappointed this time as we did not receive this.
My dinning experience has been great every time I’ve been there. The ambiance is good, and the food is outstanding it’s a nice place to celebrate s birthday!
I absolutely love this place!! My husband and I have our special date nights and we always come here. Everytime it has been perfect !
Thank you for some amazing food and service.
We will definitely be back for our next date night.
We were in the Red room. Just the 2 of us. We had a great waiter Sandy. He was awesome.
I've been to Steven Lelli's previously and the waiters are great and attentive. Last night everything was slow and I had to go looking for the waiter to get my bill even. Relaxed dining is fine but 3-3.5 hours of waiting for drinks food and never even getting offered dessert ruined the experience for me. It was an unattentive dining experience. Probably one of the worst I have experienced at any restaurant that I can remember. I eat out a lot at lots of very nice four star and dive bar establishments alike and can't remember having this much trouble with service.
The food was great but slow and very substandard service.
Worst Mother day dinner I have ever had. Sat down at 7:30
and the food did not arrived at until 10 PM. We left without eating. My wife's was very upset.
The waitress kept telling us, the food is coming. Manager was nowhere to be seen. The surrounding was dirty and smelly. Silverware was very dirty. I will never come back or recommend it to anyone I love or hate!
As always, the good was excellent. The service is not very good. No greeting upon arrival, waiting for a table with a reservation and the waiter apologizing as soon as he gets to the table...late. I understand my reservation was on Mother's Day, but have had similar experiences on my last few visits. I just need to make the drive to Mario's
Don’t go on Mother’s Day.
Soup was too salty....way too much food.
Mother’s Day dinner
I have been to Steve and Lelli's several times before, and on Mothers Day 2018 was the worse experience of them all. We waited for our reservations for over 25 minutes since they had to flip the patio from their brunch to regular dinner and was also having a wedding party in half of the patio so we were unable to sit near the windows. We had to send back our water and wine glasses several times due to them being dirty with food and lip stick marks on them, my filet was well done when I ordered it medium-well, the service was terrible and slow (slower than it normally is at this type of restaurant) and we ordered desserts at the end of our meal and we never received them after waiting 25 minutes so finally I walked over to our server and told him to cancel them and bring us the bill. Regardless if it is a holiday (Mother's Day) or not, I expect our service to be top notch especially when our bill was still over $300. Very disappointed and will not be returning to this restaurant again.
We had reservations for 3:30, we were promptly seated but did not see wait staff for 30 minutes. The waitress Patty finally took our drink and appetizer order and those arrived within about 15 minutes. Our drinks were gone and the appetizers were gone and the waitress still hadn’t take our order. When the food finally arrived the steak was good, but the lobster tail was over cooked and rubbery. Overall our time at the restaurant from arrival until our food actually showed up was 2 hours and 45 minutes, one refill on our drinks and after waiting so long, we gave up on dessert. For the price, the meal was just not worth it.
The absolute worst! Made our reservation almost 2 Weeks in advance based on an email advertising Mother’s Day brunch. The brunch sounded great and a mimosa or Bloody Mary bar could be added.
The restaurant opened at 11:00, we arrived at 11:20 for our 11:30 reservation. Our table for 3 had the third seat 2ft from the kitchen door. Clearly a table for 2 with a chair added. We got moved to a booth and got in line for the buffet. Over 1/2 of the featured items had not even been put out. I inquired about the mimosa bar and told they was not one. Got back in line at noon and they still had not managed to get all the food offered out. Mentioned to server and she said she would share our thoughts. Over $150 for an overcrowded, under staffed chaotic meal with no apology. I will never be back.
Went here for the first time for Mother's Day brunch. Although we were one of the first parties to arrive and had a reservation, we were seated at a table that was misplaced right in front of the door to buffet line. It was clear it was brought in from the patio. We spend the entire morning being tripped over, bumped, and starred at as people made their way to the buffet. This was made worse by the fact that the omelet and caving stations were in the same line as the rest of the food which created a huge wait and bottle neck for others getting the remaining dishes.
We arrived at the time of our reservation (10:45), but by 11:15 only about half of the food was out on the buffet. It took them until about 12:30 to have all the dishes out on the buffet.
Finally, my 2 1/2 year old was charged for 19.99 for eating off my husband's plate which consisted of two pieces of melon, one bite of my husband's omelet, and three bites of penne pasta.
The food was really good and the staff and owner were trying, but they seemed so ill-prepared that the experience was downright miserable. Given that, I feel completely overcharged. Can't imagine ever going back.
Normally enjoy the restaurant for the excellent food and good ambience. Have taken clients here numerous times, and always a great experience. Don't mind paying the money for the good quality. HOWEVER, my last experience was horrible. Saturday night before Mother's day, I expect the wait to be a little long. Had 7:30pm reservations, and got sat right on time. Did not order appetizers, went straight into the meal orders. We didn't receive our dinner until 9:30pm. Waitress barely came buy, didn't have our silverware for the bread, waitress offered us a plate of spaghetti to hold us over (without plates or silverware to use), never saw the Manager to apologize. I was embarrassed to have selected the dinner venue.
Took 10 minutes for the wait staff to come over and get our appetizer drinks order. Two other tables who came in after us were served before us. Another 10 minutes to receive that order. We then ordered a bottle of wine and 15 minutes later we were told that the wine was no longer available. 40 minutes later we received our food. Neither the owner nor the maître d’ came by to ask how are our experience was. Will not be returning
Early Mother’s Day.
One of the best around! Food is incredible, but service is what makes it perfect.
Our server was very nice but service , especially in the kitchen was very slow....
Great food in a great atmosphere.
Solid service, great food, and overall just a good night out. The food is classic and just really good
Great meal, as usual, at Lelli's on the Green. Mark Zarkin, is such a wonderful host and the food is better than ever! Make sure to save room for their deserts, which are unbelievable !! We can't wait to go back.
Terrific as always. A+++
Mark is a great host
Food is fabulous. I love my dinner nights at Lelli’s on the Green. Always memorable.
Food was fantabulous, but the service was fair.
Awesome place.. Friendly...Terrific food...Terrific staff... And you can hear yourself talk.. That is not so common in 2018. We will bad back soon.
Elizabeth took great care of us. We will absolutely be coming back. The private red room was very romantic.
Great dinner, good service, great friends...really enjoyed ourselves!
Very nice restaurant. We had fun and the food was great. A little on the expensive side but will definitely go back. A lot of food with the classic 6 course meal.
We enjoyed a terrific Easter Brunch here. Food was excellent. The decor and ambience were not our cup of tea. Very dark inside with either black or possibly deep dark green walls and heavy red velvet drapes. Some chandeliers and Sinatra playing. Think 60s Vegas-style supper club. Too dark and tacky for me, and this would prevent me from being a regular. But the food and service were really great
