Have never eaten at this restaurant and do not recommend it if you enjoy fresh seafood. Ordered the seafood salad and crab salad. Both were tasteless needing seasoning and lemon. Not as advertised as the shrimp and scampi tasted like previously frozen and missing ingredients like lox and scallops and limp greens. The price on Open table was two dollars less than the menu price. The table next to us and another table in ear shot complained about their meals and received an apology but no adjustment.

It was LobsterFest and hubby and I opted for the lobster ravioli with jumbo shrimp in a creamy tomato sauce. It was excellent and very filling. Service was wonderful as always. Will head back in a couple of weeks for the lobster tail dinner.

We did have to wait for our reservations but the staff were extremely apologetic (the table booked before us arrived late, delaying things) and provided a free appetizer while we waited, then gave a generous discount on our bill. We went during Lobsterfest. Prices were reasonable even at full price. My husband said it was the best lobster he ever had. Seafood was fresh and cooked perfectly. Steak was tender and delicious. Portions were generous. Would definitely come again and will try to come again for Lobsterfest- it's a great deal.

The Seafood house was smaller than I expected for the top-rated restaurant in a city known for fine cuisine—I enjoyed the Thai Bowl very much, the bread was perfect, and the service superb. many thanks for a delicious meal and nice experience.

Every time that we come here, the service has been fantastic. The last time that we came, we actually went specifically for the oyster deal ($9 per half dozen) but we went during Dine out so we weren't able to get the oysters as they had sold out, HOWEVER, I'm happy that we rediscovered this Steveston gem! We had the beef carpaccio (which we skipped the toasts on), it is SO good. It is super thinly sliced, with a nice mix of greens in the middle of the plate - and the crispy capers are a very welcome texture and flavour which compliments the beef excellently, in addition to this - we got a dozen oysters, which were very fresh and came with a nice mix of sauces to garnish. We also shared the entree size of the seafood salad which is an excellent size portion for sharing. It comes loaded with tons of fresh seafood - a lovely mix of greens and it's not too heavy on the dressing which I really like. The ambience of the restaurant is amazing too, no matter how busy the restaurant is, the noise inside doesn't carry very much so it is a great spot for an intimate dinner even on an otherwise busy night. The service has been incredible both of the recent times that we have been as well. Definitely a date night favourite for us!

We recently went there for brunch and had the crab crepes which came with a side spring salad. Loved it! A few months ago, we had their seafood curry that was part of their 3-course fall special menu. Both times, we found the flavour in the food was spot on. Service is friendly and efficient.

We went here for lunch during the Dine Out Vancouver week. It was great! We both had the blacken fish taco's. Delicious! There was a bit of a wait, even with reservations. They were slammed. Even so a delicious meal in a lovely setting. Love this restaurant.

We had not been to the Steveston Seafood house for nearly 20 years. Other than the personnel nothing had really changed. Still great food (Schnitzel) great service and we won't wait another 20 years to go again even though it is a bit of a trek. Worth every mile of it.

We were moved to another table which was much better due to the party close by with the noise level. Salad presentation was okay more uniform looking. The black snapper with prawns were shrimps given. Pana Cotta was on the dine out menu, however it was lemon tart and tiramisu. Thankfully the waiter was able to offer us Pana Cotta. It should be as stated with dine out menu what is offered. The service was impeccable. Our waiter was exceptional!
