Food was as good as always but we hated not having a waiter and being forced to order on our phones and prepay for the food. Also couldn’t figure out how to change the tip. The older people I was dining with will not be returning with this technology in use.

Food was cold and tacos were hard. Area we sat in had no signal so we couldn't order through the barcode. Price for what you get is not the best. Spent over $200 for my family and left unsatisfied.

We love the ambience and feel of the open dining at SBWB&G. It was great to be back again and some of the new menu additions were surprisingly good. One of the entrees was just okay, but the rest was above expectations. Servers were on-point and attentive. The online ordering system was a bit annoying to get into (probably due to marginal cell reception in the area), but once in, it worked well. My only small complaint was the lack of variety of darker beers--tons of IPA's (as would be expected) and a few lagers, but only one dark beer. I do realize that Stone is known for its aggressive IPA's, but in a restaurant location, it would be nice to have a few other guest varieties for those of us who are not IPA drinkers.

Perhaps it is just TMobile that won't work there, but the scan menu was a no-go. Not the end of the night, just a small pain. Food, beer were excellent, and the staff were over the top fantastic. Highly recommended!

Only thing I had a problem with is the taco deal. The 3 for $13. We ordered 4 and no deal. Paid full price. There is also a lot of noise from the airport but it didn’t bother us too much.

The food was good, prices a little high. I had the chicken kabob which was ok but not worth $18 for a piece of chicken on a stick and some veggies. The chicken was a bit dry. We were a party of 8 and we all seemed ok with the food nothing great. My sister had the best dish which was the fish and chips also not worth $18 though but good. The service was good but we didn’t like that we had to place our order online. But we all have to get use to this now as COVID has changed a lot of things. Hope when things go back to pre COVID times they bring back waiters and waitresses!! When I got a restaurant I like to be waited on.

We had trouble connecting to order our food and they immediately had a server help us. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Only negative is we were sitting outside and had forgot how loud the planes were when they fly over.

This was my first time here and I loveeee the place itself! Great atmosphere and amazing food!! Unfortunately they make you order EVERYTHING on your phone. Even when we asked for a refill one of the servers told us to order it from our phone when she could’ve been nice enough to get it for us. You’re not able to customize your order much (my husband wanted extra meet on his brisket sandwich and was unable to order it online) unless you want to remove something that already comes on it. Overall because of the way they do this I would say the service is terrible. But I would still go back for the food and atmosphere for sure.

Service was great, but ordering from an App was a nightmare! I visited with a friend and had separate tabs. Needless to say the drinks and dinner came at different times and I had almost finished dinner when my friends dinner arrived. I won't likely return unless they at least give you an option to order from a menu. Thankfully, our server was superb and helped with the App fiasco. And finally, the App asks how much above 18% you want to tip...It would be OK for the Server, but the App is part of the experience and feels like a big con.

Their online ordering system is horrible, and not one server came by to see if we needed assistance. Everyone ordered on their own, which meant all our food came out at different times. Two people in our party never got their food because their order didn’t go thru.

This place has really changed in the last 1-2 years. Menu used to be creative and larger. My wife had the "36 hour brisket" which was as tough as a 36 minute brisket. You have to order everything off an app...this included, silverware, napkins, salt, sugar...everything. Saw our waiter once...and you had to include th tip when ordering. Very tedious. We have probably been here 40-50 times over the past several years. This was our last time.

Took my two kids for my birthday dinner — they are 17 and 22 and wanted an outdoor place hat had vegetarian options for them. Very happy with the menu choices and the ambience is always nice on the patio. The service was oddly impersonal. I understand staffing issues are a problem with covid still around. Yet, I think the problem stemmed from the contactless ordering — pretty much did not have a server at all. Lots of people “running “ the food out, but no one to ask for little items personally. Felt like a bother when asking a different person each time for a side of a dip or a question about the soup of the day or what the house salad had on it. Everyone who worked there seemed nice, it just didn’t feel as though we were in a restaurant. No one asked if we needed boxes to wrap our extras, no upselling for desserts. Just a lot of us looking at our phones to see what we might wanna try. I think we ended up spending less money there due to the impersonal nature of ordering and getting the food dropped off. Again, it seems like a choice by management to make customers have less interaction and for that, I’m thinking a take-out order would have held the same charm.

The ordering experience is complete trash. It made it hard to enjoy the special occasion. There is no service unless you can figure out how to order on one phone for the big group.
It was a let down compared to past experiences with stone brewing.

Insistence that ALL ordering be done via the app was very annoying
...especially since we we given no information about that. Additionally, when I made the reservation, I should have been told about having an extremely limited menu that day due to a staff party.

I did not enjoy ordering my food through an app. It was not easy to use. It took much longer than just ordering directly from a server. There was a disconnect of human interaction and felt awfully robotic. The food as always was delicious, but the service felt cold.

They are under staffed so there was no servers. I understand that’s not their fault but the issue was when their computer system shut down so we were unable to order dinner. No one attempted to take our order with a pen and paper so unfortunately we only ate some appetizers then closed out. It wasn’t until we were walking out probably 20 minutes later that we heard their computer system was working again. I used to love stone but it’s disappointing they don’t have any staff.

This would have been a different review if I was with a group of friends. However I took a group of business associates to Stone and it was a little rough to say the least.
The outdoor patio is beautiful, however the airplane noise is no joke. A very loud interruption to conversation every few minutes. Then we have the "serverless" ordering situation. I did read about this ahead of time and I should have heeded the warning. Unfortunately, this is a lot to handle for anyone over 45 or who is just not in the mood to be on their phone for the first quarter of their dining experience. This DIY method of getting your drinks and food was frustrating and confusing. It took the Stone employee so long to explain it to us that we could have ordered through her in less time. I understand some restaurants are moving toward this technology but it just doesn't work well when you are in a larger group (we had 9 at our table). Also, with out someone checking in on you regularly, it seemed to take longer to get the empty glasses & dishes cleared. The food was good, but just know what you are in for.

Yes, Covid is taxing. I understand. We picked Stone Brewing because it had a large outdoor seating area and tables were well far apart--this is great! However, due to Covid, few servers are returning to work. Servers there wore no masks. There was no service, only a scancode to order food, or extra plates or drinks. We were given napkins and seated. Everything else required a cell phone. My family sat around looking at cellphones, as there were no other options. Sad. There were few people to ask (as they went by running food to tables) about what was in the food (there are allergies in the family), or what might be more popular. This option is no longer available at Stone Brewery-welcome to the new age. This was a birthday party and it was supposed to be celebratory. No service, just phones. No one to ask what was good or what had allergens. Could not find recipes online. My non-allergic son liked the beer and the ribs. My salad could have been purchased at Vons as a $5 item in plastic. I was dissappointed, to say the least. Yes, Covid sucks. Best to stay home.

We were seated quickly and all staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. We were having some issues with the online ordering system because of spotty Internet and they were very proactive about sending a server to take our order and make sure we had everything we needed. Food was delicious and the selection of beers (and beer knowledge of our server) was excellent. Great outdoor atmosphere.

We were excited to dine at Stone Brewing, but were disappointed and confused with the ordering and payment process all being done with a QR code on our phones. This process makes no sense! It took the person that seated us (not masked by the way), just as long to explain the system as it would have to take our order. The actual server, visited our table so many times that she easily could have taken our order in the "normal" way. If this system is meant to save time/labor/COVID safety concerns, it's not working, nor is it "customer friendly".

Firstly not sure why they ask if it’s a special occasion! There are no waiters to take orders, you have to use online ordering, which takes forever, we were a table of 9 and it was a nightmare! If i wanted to order online, I would have stayed at home and ordered from Uber eats! You even have to order side plates and napkins….it took a good part of an hour to get everyone’s order in online because the app kept giving error messages. Additionally you can’t ask anyone questions about the food because no one comes to your table except to drop off the plates of food. No one clears plates either until you leave, no glasses cleared. If you want another drink, back to the online site. It’s a joke! Best is the recommended tip is 20%….for what? No one served us besides just dropping plates off… ruined a birthday lunch, because half the time you were trying to “serve” your own table by taking orders. Easier to go to a drive thru! A thought to the owners, you’d probably make more money if you had staff waiting on tables…ordering more drinks and food would be easier, our table just wanted to leave!

Stone half pays for itself with the atmosphere and decor. Most other guests sat outside so the inside was very quiet. We enjoyed the QR ordering although being required to tip at least 18% seemed high since all the servers do is deliver the food.

We made a reservation for outside. Every table had a QR code unique to the table so each person or the whole table could scan and order whatever they wanted whenever, keeping a tab open. Servers still stopped by the table to make sure everyone had what they needed, but the safety precautions also allowed us to order and talk at our own pace. It was wonderful. The food and drinks were delicious.
