    We have been to Stonehouse a number of times and have always been happy and loved the experience. Unfortunately, we decided to sit outside yesterday and it was a completely different experience. The service was deplorable. We had issues tracking down our server and basically started to order drinks as our round was served to count for the expected service delay. Further, the food was a serious disappointment. The fried chicken for 2 was 75% french fries and 25% chicken. The chicken that was there was basically rubber and almost tasteless. If had the cauliflower on multiple occasions and last night it was just off. We were really excited to bring my aunt and uncle to show them what we loved about Stonehouse and it was just really disappointing that we had such a terrible experience. Hopefully this was just because we were outside.

    Not a positive experience, and realize there are bigger problems in the world, but this was a comedy of errors. Booked an outdoor ‘Jazz brunch’ (for our anniversary). Had a reservation- they basically sat us in the parking lot (along with one other table) on the deck/entryway to the restaurant which should not serve as a dining area. Requested to be moved to the tables with the rest of civilization/where the band was playing and they said it was a 1/2 hour wait. When I said I had a reservation they said it’s either the table that we were (already) seated at or we needed to wait. I moved on. But then- my daughter ordered a mock-tail which used mint leaves as part of the ingredient list. There were a ton of leaves in the glass so she removed one and when she (thankfully) took it out of the glass, there was a dead be wrapped up in the mint leaf. That caused multiple bees to swarm the table. At that point I was ready to leave but my family said no, so I requested that we be moved inside. When we were shown to our table, my other daughter almost sat on broken glass which was in the booth. The saga continues but I feel like you get the point. Hands down the worst dining experience I have ever had. Happy Anniversary 🥂

    The ambience was nice as usual, but we failed to notice that two events were gong in when we booked for a Saturday night. Too us over an hour to get a sea bass and scallops. Two meals that take 15 minutes to make combined. The waitress eventually offered us a free app. After she realized it would be over an hour until we got our entrees. The inside was totally empty—should have realized something was up! Food was meh for $40 and $36 entrees. Pretty outside and top notch service aside from of course, food timing. Will come back though.

    There is a beautiful outdoor dining area that offers tables and a full bar. The service is high end with staff frequently checking on patrons to ensure an exceptional dining experience. The meals were perfectly prepared and delicious from starters through entrees and desserts.

    Really pretty atmosphere, we sat outside but the inside was neat too. It was a slow night (8:30 pm on a Wednesday) and unfortunately, our waitress forgot our drinks so they came after we were done with our appetizers and then we got our entrees and we had to send both back. I had ordered the burger medium well and it came rare/medium rare and my husband ordered the pork chop medium rare but his came well done. Our waitress agreed with the incorrect temperatures and took them back to be remade. The manager came out and apologized which we appreciated but we were surprised that they didn’t offer to comp our drinks (we only had one drink each) or offer a complimentary dessert, SOMETHING. They did remake both of our dinners so I would not expect not to pay for those but something comped would have been appropriate. We had to wait another 20 minutes for them to remake the entrees. My remade burger was very good, my husband said his remade pork chop was pretty tough and dry and that he wouldn’t reorder. He loved the calamari and we shared the margarita pizza as an appetizer which was also really good. Overall, we will probably go back because it is a very pretty and romantic setting but I’d be more inclined to recommend it and of course give it a second chance, had they offered to take something off the bill for their mistakes.

    Food was amazing. Service was not so great. Our server was more interested in another table that was a large family celebrating and another table behind us that maybe ordered more than we did. A man stopped at our table explaining the bottle of wine we ordered was no longer available. We did not order a bottle of wine was the table next to us. Then someone came over to take my plate since I was done and then asked my husband if she could take his plate as he was cutting into his pork chop. Bad timing. Then our server said to us since you didn’t order appetizers I hope you will order dessert. Could not wait to leave. We were also have way through our dinner when the wine and beer we ordered was finally brought to the table. Was very disappointed as we were celebrating our 45th wedding anniversary.

    Our server was very nice but everything was very slow and we were done with our appetizer for a while before the server came back to check on us and tell us she would fire our entrees. We had our appetizers before our drinks came too. So it was a long wait for everything. Maybe they were short staffed, not sure. The food runner girl was killin it, she took care of everything for us. Anyway, everyone was very nice and the food was very good and we had a lovely time.

    This was our first time for Brunch at the Stone House, we had many excellent dinners there over the past years. Even though it was a very warm day, verging on hot, we opted to sit outside at a table in the shade, with a light breeze helping to keep us cool. As always, the food was great and the service friendly, solicitous and professional. It's well worth a visit.

    What a fabulous time! Amazing ambience, great staff ! We celebrated a birthday and the staff had desert comped with a cute candle ! They also had personalized menu’s for the birthday girl ! The little things count and I give Stonehouse an 100/100! This restaurant is simply gorgeous ! We will be going back very soon !! Thank you Stonehouse staff and team ❤️

    The name here is pacing !!! Resy at 6 pm. 2 Cocktails , 2 glasses of wine , oysters, a pizza and one main all done by 7 pm One hour !!!! We were barely half the way with the oysters when the main arrived Perhaps a conversation with the staff about how some costumers enjoy the aperitifs with bread to start and slow the pace for the rest, especially when you are ordering different courses

    We celebrated a special event: 55th anniversary. We were greeted with champagne and given a candle lit desert to close. In between, the service was great and the food wonderful. I highly recommend.

    I’ve been here once before. The last time we came, the food was excellent so we booked for a birthday dinner. While the ambiance is nice, the food was really subpar (especially for the price). Our table ordered calamari, ceviche, crab dip, pork belly, burgers, and carbonara and desserts. The carbonara and crab dip were good, everything else was meh. Drinks are good. I don’t mind they include an automatic gratuity of 20% for a party of six, but was a little turned off by our server not mentioning it when she gave us the bill, but did make it a point to let us know she took off a birthday dessert in case we didn’t notice. Would maybe go back for apps and drinks on the patio, but would definitely go back elsewhere for a nice dinner.

    My wife and I celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary at the restaurant. They had menus celebrating our milestone. The bread (raisin) and scorers Saldana were excellent. The menu is very limited. I had the striped bass which was excellent but my wife had Mac and cheese. The restaurant should consider a more expanded menu. The music underneath the porch outside made it a very pleasurable experience

    I have eaten here prior and both meals were good, so I suspect this was an outlier. I order the PEI Mussels app, which was very good. My wife and I shared the Steak and Frites and the Carbonara pasta. The steak was ordered medium it was cooked medium, however the char on the outside was bitter and effectively inedible. The carbonara was very tasty, however, not quite carbonara, more of a cheesy pasta dish. We shared the Bananas Foster Bread Pudding. This was also tasty, but the apples included were a bit bitter as if the alcohol was not cooked off. Cappuccino was bitter. All in call cost too high for value received on this trip.

    Came for my husbands birthday- sat on the porch - acknowledged with personalized menus - very nice touch. Great wine and cocktails - steak and scallops were amazing and complimentary dessert was extra yummy. Patio area has live music - will be back for sure

    Fantastic ambience and delicious food but they need some work on their service. Our server had too many tables both inside and outside the restaurant and we were ignored throughout most of the evening - water glass remained empty, second rounds of drinks were not offered, etc. There were also unfortunately two major issues - I did not receive the right entree. I order the steak frites but was delivered the strip steak. A pretty minor mistake that was quickly corrected once I could flag down our waitress, but I had to wait while my companion started her entree. They did comp my entree so the mistake is easily forgiven. However when the bill arrived we noticed they’d charged us $65 for a single glass of wine ($65 was the bottle price). I’m glad we were paying attention. This too was quickly corrected however after dropping off the revised bill out server disappeared again! We finally had to intercept the hostess to run the credit card but then they returned our bill and card to a neighboring table!! So, great restaurant if they can work out their service issues.

    The Carbonara dish was very salty, even adjusting for the parmesan chips. Then was surprised that the roasted vegetables were also salty. Servers were timely, articulate and polite

    Brunch was delicious, starting with the crab dip, to the eggs benedict, and ending with the tiramisu. Service with Anna was excellent with good recommendations.
