Chef Robert MacMillan and his team aim to nourish both the body and soul. We celebrate modern Canadian cooking; inspired by the mountains, fields, farms and waters of the Pacific Northwest. We offer seasonal sustainable meats and produce, and quality without complexity. The bar focuses on approachable wines, excellent beer, and adventurous craft cocktails.
Our spirited venue is contemporary and comfortable, encouraging shared experiences. Find a seat at the long bar, in our lively dining room, or on the patio for that Whistler village energy.
Each weekend this is the go-to brunch spot in the village, offering up indulgent nourishing fare.
Located across from the Whistler Conference centre and upstairs from Buffalo Bills.
A little slow at first to get drink service and our burgers were missing some ingredients (the onion rings) but they were absolutely delicious! Amazing fries too!!
The restaurant is apparently closed.
Delicious dinner of sharing plates. Great service and ambience
Lovely food, served very quickly by friendly staff. Great ambience, will be back!!
The vegan beetloaf was so good. My family had the short ribs which looked good too. Highly recommend.
Great atmosphere. Fabulous service from jasmine and phenomenal food. Super accommodating for kids (making things ‘plain’). Will add as a reg stop for us
Lousy food lousy service
Service was very slow, food was just ok and the noise level very high.
Have dined here the past two years and it's wonderful. Super friendly, great menu, fantastic cocktails and a subtle but soohisticated ambiance. This is one of the most underrated restaurants in Whilster and I kinda hope it stays like that for my own benefit.... It way better than the Barefoot Bistro!
Appetizers and drinks were great! So good we went back for breakfast Sunday.!!
Service was horrible!!!
Took forever to order, then 25 minutes to get our food.
The servers were very friendly but not very competent and horrible at customer service. It seemed like they were trying to charm us for tips yet the service was awful. After waiting forever, the appetizers were brought out the same time as our mains and we had to ask several times for water. It would’ve been nice (and normal) to have the charcuterie plate and share plates in advance of our mains.
The food was very ordinary. Two different salads were ordered to share by the table and they were described as very different on the menu, but clearly the salads were the same greens with a bit of oily flavorless dressing on them and different ingredients dumped on top.
We were brought the bill and weren’t even given the option of ordering dessert. So bizarre. I think they were trying to turn the table over to get more people in the door as it was a busy weekend in Whistler. I wouldn’t recommend going here!!
Our dinner here was a pleasant surprise. We had failed to reserve a table weeks out for Valentine’s Day and my friends birthday and used open table for a last minute cancellation. The service and the quality and presentation of the food well above average. The oysters and bread plate were excellent. The salmon over pumpkin lobster risotto was very well prepared. Great dinner and highly recommend.
My wife and I dined during our ski vacation. We like to eat light so we split a beet salad and salmon entree. Both were good but considering the price, could have been better. Our server was very friendly and settled a drink order mix up to our satisfaction.. I’ll rate our visit overall as ‘good’.
Food was very good. The short rib was excellent, very tender. The crab dip was wonderful.
Fave place to come to for wine sessions with the girlfriends. It's cozy and great pricing for a glass of wine. Food always is great no matter brunch, lunch or dinner.
Had breakfast twice and dinner once and everything was delicious! Nice atmosphere with friendly service. Recommend the breakfast sandwich, poutine and waffle for breakfast. Also, the croissants are a must! For dinner, we shared the charcuterie plate, ribs, pear and gorgonzola salad and truffle fries. So good!
Great espresso martinis! Food was tasty, good burger post skiing.
My friend and I decided to eat here because we were staying at the hotel connected to this restaurant, and it was cold and rainy outside. Overall I am very happy with the choice. First the things I liked. I was very happy with my salad. I ordered the Beet Salad because I was wanting something a little lighter after eating a lot of heavy food on the mountain. It was very fresh and dressed well. I could taste the light vinaigrette dressing with every bite without it being overwhelming. Same with the goat cheese. I was enough to mix in well with each bite and enhance the flavors rather than overwhelm. Needless to say, I cleaned my plate. My friend got the Pear salad which she enjoyed just as much. We also got the Truffle Fries and the Gruyere and Crabmeat Dip. The fries were okay. The dip was delicious. A hearty appetizer to go with our salads. For drinks, my friend had the non-alcoholic Hot Apple Cider which she kept raving about. I had the Mulled Wine which was just perfect for a cold winter night. For the things that I did not like as much, my biggest problems was the noise. My friend and I were seated in a corner but still had to raise our voices slightly to hear each other. The place was quite busy at the time, but I think that the acoustics are the main problem. Otherwise I found the restaurant very cozy. Overall I felt lucky to have found a good restaurant that I may have overlooked otherwise.
Horrible service-waited 40 min until anyone came to ck on us -we were out of water for 30 min and no one ever told us the kitchen was backed up until we had to ask the server but she responded as being pretty rude to us the rest of the evening. Disappointing because the food and ambience is wonderful in this restaurant and I have never had a bad/or rude server in all of whistler!
Overpriced food! An average pub in England costs half the price and gives the same value.
They sat us in the bar next to the server drink pick up station with reservation. The employee conversation was light and professional. It was fine but we were expecting to be in the dining room with a reservation, it was a special occasion. Food was good but the wild boar was very overcooked and the short rib was average. We mentioned the overcooked boar to the server and they would pass it on to the staff. Ambiance was upbeat and professional.
Great service and yummy food
Oyster is fine, fries are too dry, beef rib and chicken supreme are too salty. Service are bad, waited for Raised hand for 10 min to get assist, waited 40 mins to get dishes.
Ate here on Chistmas and it was delicious. I had a salmon dish and my husband had the beef short rib. Would recommend both.
Esta bonito el lugar y la ambientacion, muy buen servicio, pero la comida no esta buena desafortunadamente, pedi el salmon y me parecio que no estaba nada fresco como recalentado y sobrecocido (cuesta 38 CAD).
We were a little disappointed that the menu online wasn’t the same as the one presented to us at the restaurant. We went specifically for the bao buns and hoping for the guacamole for our toddler but neither was longer served... it’s all about expectations, please update your website when the menu changes.
Food was okay, server was friendly but she punched in our food to arrive all at once so we weren’t really ready to down the whole salad appy and dinner at the same time.
It was four years since we were last here, and is it possible to improve on perfection? Apparently, yes! Fantastic food, exceptional service, cosy ambiance. It seemed only natural to return the next morning for breakfast, which was just as delicious as dinner. I’m sure there are other good restaurants in Whistler that maybe make a dirty martini as well, but we’ll always come back to Stonesedge.
We had an absolutely wonderful birthday dinner!
The waiter was so helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable. He really added to the wonderful experience!
The ambiance of Stonesedge Kitchen is truly magical and what makes the experience so romantic.
We will be back very soon!!!
On the night we were there the restaurant was like being at a very very highly energetic party with several large groups that were a bit boisterous to say the least, so that made it quite a challenge to have a dinner for two. Our waitress was super and the food albeit casual fare and a bit pricy was great; possibly the best poutine I’ve Had in quite a while.
The kitchen certainly knows what it’s doing as does the management to bring in the crowds with special pricing on beer and feature foods
Definitely not good for a business dinner or first date
But if you want to let loose and party this is the place.
Great venue. We sat on the patio. The server was helpful. Very enjoyable
Love the cocktail selection. I found main dish prices a bit on the high side compared to the description of the restaurant, but perhaps that's more the influence of the area. That being said, there was a vegetarian gluten-free dish that was phenomenal.
Hi Steff, We're glad you enjoyed the cocktail selection. Our bar team loves making some creative beverages, and changing the menu every season. All of our mains use fair portions of locally sources proteins, which usually cost a bit more, but the quality is always amazing. We look forward to hosting you in the future for some more cocktails. Cheer
Fazit: Zu empfehlen!
My wife and I had a great time here. We started on the patio but it started to rain. The staff had no problem moving us inside.
Good and drinks were great
Great food and cocktails but quite pricey
Nice . Fab service
Great find off of the main walkway - our first time and we really enjoyed it!
