Love Storm Crow, great staff and a welcoming pub.
Fun environment with decent food. The vegetarian options were interesting and well prepared. It was very busy and service was slow, but the staff we interacted with were friendly. There were plenty of cool things to look at and a selection of games to play at the table.
Usually 5 stars here but wasn’t the best visit this time around - noise was was louder than usual, and the service seemed lacking
Everything was excellent, however, initially I ordered a pint of beer, on a refill I was served a sleve of beer and charged a pint upon billing. I was away from the table when my wife paid and I noticed when we were leaving. We were headed to an event so didn't have time to go back. Otherwise it was a great experience and I recommend it to others. The food is on point and service was otherwise excellent.
I love this place. Atmosphere is always great. The drinks are so theatrical and fun it's great to observe others reactions when the server brings them out. Super comfort food range and always tastes delicious. Service was a little slow however and had to give the table up after 3 hours which was a bit of a shame!
Always love coming to Storm Crow for the games, the people, the food, the amazing nerd decor, everything! This is a total geek paradise, perfect for those who love everything sci-fi, magic, cartoon, and gaming
I love Storm Crow Alehouse but I've quickly come to realize that it's too loud and the food is meh during dinner service just because of pure volume. Brunch is where it's at!
Really good food, great place with a bunch of nerd memorabilia. The place was packed, highly suggest making a reservation. Music was too loud to have a conversation though. Overall would highly recommend to friends and would go back in a heartbeat.
Servers Sarah and Cat were great, very attentive servers despite our party being bigger than expected. Delicious drinks, too! Thanks for a memorable birthday party
There was a great pub vibe and lots of options on the menu. Venue was large although there is noise you can still carry on a conversation without yelling.the service was great. Our server was attentive and not in a rush, had time to talk with us and casually take our order, not rushing us to any decision.
The place was pretty full so a reservation would be suggested if your group is more than 2.
As always great service even when it’s packed. Food was good great selection of drinks
Fab service from every person that came to our table of 8...meaning, helpful, chill and without attitude. One wee error with only one order and they took care of it, lickety split and without question. Our table’s youngest was 15, oldest 82 and everyone was comfortable and had a lot of fun.
The 3 hour time limit is a shame, as my friends and I would have loved to have stayed longer. The staff were polite about “kicking us out” and although we knew this policy ahead of time, was still a shame to cut our night short.
Wow, this place is incredible and I’m so sad I only just learned about it! If you don’t know what to do on a rainy night, and you don’t wanna stay home, come here and play games!
Having Brunch at Storm Crow Alehouse was fantastic! The service was quick, and I loved the overall atmosphere. I'll definitely be coming back!
This is the ultimate in geek chic! The menu and drinks are fantastic and the decor was amazing. The purple Beholder was the perfect touch. Can't wait to go back!
It was very hard to get a hold of our server and there was no flexibility or intention of other servers to help. They added an 18 percent tip on everybody’s bill tho
Couldn't tell you. I successfully reserved online a day in advance for my group. When we got there, there was a posting on the door stating it was closed for a private function.
Terrific ambiance. Service was friendly and constant despite a busy evening.
Way to loud but other than that the food and the service were good considering that it looked like there were only 2 servers for the whole place.
I love this place! They were so supportive with our guests and incredibly understanding when we needed a few extra things. Thanks for hosting such an amazing evening for our friend group!
They have streamlined the menu since my last visit which is great, menu different to what's currently on Open Table. This place is always busy but never seems to affect the service. Pulled pork burger was delicious as were the chickpea fries.
yes it was good but service was slow and some of us missed out on $5 happy hour .
Also happy hour chck pea fries were much smaller then regular price
The service we got at our table was amazing, very attentive yet not overwhelming. They really take the "nerd bar" vibes to heart and give their all. Ordering a special drink and getting a hole theatrically show as it is being delivered to the table. Highly recommend.
I absolutely love this place and I’m very pleased that it is local to me. Always great food, great beers and great staff. Unfortunately most of the time the music is way too loud and the temperature way too hot! Other than those two things it is a great place. If they can make it more comfortable heat and noise -wise it would be perfect!
It was our first time going there and we had a lot of fun. Service was great but a bit slow.
Great atmosphere, cool decor (and by cool, I mean uber-geeky in all the right ways), good food, a respectable beer selection, and creative cocktails. Service was great. Olivia rocks: mnemonic & pneumatic. With her facility for name recall, I wouldn't be surprised if she has a brain the size of a planet.
Unexpectedly great food and enjoyed a wide selection of games. Highly recommend the Brussels sprouts, I ordered it with dressing on the side. I also ordered the alcoholic butterbeer, not as good as the one you would get from Universal studios but still fun. We had enough time to cycle through a number of games - exploding kittens, sushi go, coup and codenames. Our reservations were relatively early at 5pm so the place wasn’t yet as loud and crowded. Perfect place to hang out with friends!
I went to this location before and i know it is usually a good place, but i was very unimpressed by the service we had last week. I reserved for a group of 13 people. First, there was a problem with updating the number of guests from 10 to 13 people and i had to call the restaurant twice because the first employee did not updated the number after I called the first time. The ventilation of the restaurant broke the day before our reservation, I received a call less than 24 hours before reservation to inform me the restaurant would only serve a short menu, mostly composed of appetizers instead of the normal menu. I was denied a discount after asking for one. When we arrived, the waitress asked for 2 pieces of ID to the entire table, we were all between 25 and 40, one of us (who is 37 and clearly looks over 30) did not have 2 pieces of ID and had to call a cab to go home, get his passport and come back. I know the laws specified to ask ID for everyone under 30... but the man is almost 40, and he sure didn't look like the youngest of the pack. After and hour an half our waitress said she was going home and brang the bills, we wanted to get a last round of shots, she denied it and we had to wait 20 minutes for the next waitress. Both waitress were very nice and social though.
It is so easy to spend an entire night here. The drinks, prices and atmosphere are all great and I appreciated the phone charging station. I'm also glad that this is a larger location making it easier to accommodate bigger groups.
I've been to this location three times now and 2 / 3 times have been not enjoyable. We made a reservation a week in advance. I'm not sure at what point between then and our reservation, their kitchen fan went out. But it did. And they didn't warn us. This meant they had a limited menu. We specifically went here for D20 burger and they weren't serving any burgers. I get it, the restaurant with no fan is too hot to cook in.
We were like alright, we'll make due. Some of tried to order "chicken fingers and fries" and they had run out of that. There was nothing else on the menu I would have ate, so I sat there while everyone else ate.
Their random D20 machine was broken. The manager who made the Death Cards quit so they were out of that.
Overall, not a great experience and would have been nice if they had contacted us to let us know about the fan issue so we could have transferred our reservation.
Awesome service for my friends Bachelor party. Our server was very patient and had an amazing attitude given the rowdy ness of the group. She was a superstar
Wonderful collection of themed food and drink with geek ambiance.
The place is fine, but the policies on stay duration are unreasonable. There is a 3 hour maximum regardless of whether or not you're still spending money on drinks and food. I was there for my birthday and our modest 5 person party asked to move to one of several unreserved (and quite available tables) at the end of this duration only to be denied. The place was about half full. Kicking out paying customers in a half-full restaurant when you're not even holding tables for someone else seems crazy to me. Lamest birthday restaurant experience. :(
Even though it was nice. The wait for food was horrible and it wasn't even busy. Also the waiter ignored our table which sucked as we would have done more shots. Also my cousin's beer was warm, and she didn't ask for warm beer. One meal took almost 2 hours and it felt like the waiter was only happy when it came for us to pay and leave. Which was also the most we saw of her too, and she wasnt very welcoming unlike the other waiter that finally brought the one meal.
I usally book stormcrow for my birthday cuz of the inviting vibes and its fun. I dont mine which one i got to usally but this time it it felt like it was just the money that was cared . If it was busy i would have under stand but it wasnt. Last year i had better service and it was packed full. It was also bad cuz i had brought family as it would have been their first time and all they had to comment on was how the service sucked. Next time i will be making sure that its the tavern as i have yet to get bad service from there.
My friends held my bachelorette here. It was the perfect atmosphere as we are all geeky introverts who enjoy boardgames. Loved the rolling of dice for building a dungeon burger and the random dice roll shots. We had a great waitress as well.
I loved the fandom based decode my friend and I were able to spot. The drinks were super fun and enjoyable.
First time there. Service was great. The room is lovely. Was there with my kids and they were looked after very well. We will certainly be back!
I was in town in the area and saw the tavern on Google Maps. When I went to the web site to see what kind of a place it was, I was intrigued by the decor and menu. It did not disappoint. Good food and the service was great. The margarita was not great, but my standards are high for those. I will be back and recommend it to anyone thinking of going. Fun for groups who like to play board games.
Good food, boardgames, and a fun atmosphere. Always a fun time at the Storm Crow :)
