    The smoked wings needed to be cooked more. Some were too tough and the meat should have fallen off the bone if smoked properly. The French Toast was pretty good.

    Way too much to pay for this experience. Super loud, service was average to below average, and food was really bad. A lot of hype for this restaurant. Perhaps the one downtown is worth visiting. I wouldn't venture out to the National Harbor for the experience we had. Save your money.

    The food was terrible. The hush puppies had a runny sauce in them. I ordered catfish - greesy , 3 Small slices of fish with l truce on each side; The machoroni and cheese was cold - ok; Arnold Palmer - tasted like water. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone, not unless you want a drink.

    Came to celebrate my sister's birthday and informed waitress that this was our first visit. Waitress was not warm or inviting. $6 Eggs were bland and cold. Shrimp and grits was simply 'ok' and very small portion for the price. Three 1/2 slices of French toast were delicious, but again small portion for the price. Highlight of the dining experience? Noting while eating and later shopping at Zaaf across the seat. Try again? Sure, when I get the urge to waist money on lackluster food and service.

    I was having dinner with a friend from Europe. He arrived early and asked to be seated to wait for me as I was running late. He was told he could not be seated until I arrived. So he had to wait outside in the rain. Not a good impression. Waitress was very pleasant, but keep pushing us to order, and then the main course arrived with the appetizer. She could not read the situation that we were engaging in discussion and were not in a hurry.

    I really wish I remembered the name of the server but I don’t but OMG she was great! The restaurant is beautiful and cozy and the food is amazing. 10/10 on presentation and flavor! Definitely will be coming back. We had the hush puppies and the pecan sticky buns and then the Lobster Benedict and the French Toast. Everything was delicious. The food came out super fast. The warm potato salad is amazing!

    Hospitality was first rate. The meal - oysters, peach salad, steak big enough to share- was delicious. The only complaint, a common one, is that even seated well to the side it was NOISY. Will we go back, yes.

    This was one of my favorite restaurants in the National Harbor. It now appears that there are staffing issues because the service has gone south. The last three visits were similar. This will impact me coming again soon. I don't want to confuse my note with the idea the servers are bad; they are excellent. The issue is that there are not enough of them to meet the requirements of the establishment. Slow....

    I ate here three times during my week's stay in National Harbor. I should have stopped after the second time. Let me say off top that each time, the service was top notch. Everyone was accommodating and welcoming. My father had a walker and they went out of their way to make sure he could maneuver through the restaurant. First time, we ordered the smoked wings and mac & cheese to share. I ordered the pork ribs, pops and sis ordered the chicken and waffles and bestie ordered the shrimp & grits. They loved their food (the ribs lacked flavor and tenderness), but the standouts were those dang gone wings and mac & cheese!!!! We also ordered a pitcher of Belle's punch and let me tell you, it has a nice kick and great flavor. Who knew mango-infused vodka and bourbon made such a great pairing?!? A few days later, it was happy hour time! The wings were $2/each and the Belle's punch pitcher almost half off, so were ordered that plus the mac & cheese. Again, the food was on point. On our final day, we went back and ... the food wasn't as good. The chicken was overcooked (how do you dry out a thigh?), and the mac & cheese was missing the creaminess from our prior visits. Those smoked wings were still on point. They really should sell the white BBQ sauce that come with it. When I'm back in the DMV, I will go back during happy hour and pray the mac & cheese is back to what I enjoyed the first two times.

    The menu is very in selections. I’m from and never had it no of anyone serving kimchi. Kimchi is widely used throughout the limited items on the menu. We ordered the Shrimp & Grits and was decent as we did not expect the heavy soupy broth: and it was not hot.

    Dined here for the first time with my family. The food in my opinion was just ok. My daughter had salmon which we sent back due to lack of flavor. My husband had the steak. It was ok. We’ve had better. The smoked chicken wings were delicious, Kid’s burger & Mac n cheese were good, deviled egg w/ bacon jam was good, fries were good, shrimp and grits were good. The cornbread was just ok. I did not care for the hot fried oysters at all! Overall it was ok. I probably will not go back. They were out of a lot of items when we went. Service was good! The ambiance is nice!

    We opted for the "Taste the South" experience and it was an absolute standout! There was a diverse array of great flavors - every dish was a delightful journey. Exceptional value for the experience we had. Kudos to Benjamin, our server, whose service was beyond exceptional. His attention to detail and enthusiasm truly added to our memorable evening.     The family style brunch was delicious. All of the items were tasty. While I wish you could ask for free seconds like at some family style restaurants, I felt very satisfied at the end of my meal. Waitstaff was very pleasant and there was not a long wait for each selection.

    Food kept coming out cold, by the 2nd time I just didn't bother to keep sending it back. a lot of menu items have pork, the waitress kept forgetting to leave pork out of food.

    Some of the popular items were not available, and the reserved seating space was small and dark (in the back room). Would definitely go back, but earlier than my 1pm reservation so I have access to all the offerings.

    We had a wonderful time and great experience. The food had great presentations and portion size. The drinks were one pf the best I've had, Bellle's Punch. Ambience was beautiful inside and out. The service was pleasant and very helpful. I plan to return again.

    You pay for the fancy decor, and location. The food is subpar-one of the managers explained that the food is intentionally underseasoned even though it is a southern Asian style restaurant. The style of restaurant does not match the flavor of the food. I do not recommend; other people in the restaurant seemed to be struggling with the menu as well. I think the idea of the style of restaurant is good, but the execution did not hit the mark.

    Excellent lunch with outstanding service by Jeremiah. Sat outside enjoying a beautiful day interrupted only by the sounds of occasional loud motorcycles. Loved the dirty chicken Cobb salad, abo blt, shrimp and grits , even succotash curry. Peach ice tea went well. Thank you Jeremiah for your accurate and charming descriptions of each dish. You made this lunch special!
