Fantastic food, great staff. Every time.

Food is outstanding, cocktails are fun and delicious, service was prompt, friendly and informative. My new favourite place for a quick lunch or a romantic date night. Best sushi in Calgary!

It was my birthday Thursday and the service was phenomenal! Took a a little while to get the attention of the server , but once we got our water everything was smooth sailing! We ordered the Sukiyaki and the Shabu Shabu and they were both delicious! The sushi was also phenomenal and I will definitely be back! Thanks sukiyaki house for making it an amazing birthday!

This is easily our favourite place to go for a business lunch.

Good sushi and good service. We ordered the fish head appetizer for something different. The server warned us that it was a lot of work to get all off the meat out, but offered to do it for us.

Lovely experience. The food was indescribably delicious and the staff were fun and knowledgeable about their product. We cannot wait to return.

Great place for a delicious lunch

Everything was enjoyable fresh great tasting food, however the services wasn't quite up to par. Our server seemed to really only serve us half of the time we were there as food was delivered by food runners. When we politely asked for soy cause after our sushi was sitting on our table for at least 4min. our server with a quite rude tone said "you're gonna have to give me a minute i'm busy" she never ended up bringing any soy sauce, thankfully the food runners notice we didn't have any and brought us some without asking.

After we finished our meal we ordered dessert this was almost 2 hours into our birthday dinner (8:30pm) there were no other customers waiting for tables our server came to the table and said "Sorry, you've been here for 2 hours which is the time limit for dine in, i can print the bill and asked us not to "linger" any longer pay and leave". If a 2 hour limit is set for dine in this should be posted through Open-table policy or even told to us when we arrived.

Again, the food and atmosphere was great however this restaurant was recommended highly for the food and service. The service was quite horrible, there was an auto gratuity on top of the bill but i feel like the 3 other people dropping off food and helping us deserved it more then our server as they pretty much took care of us the whole night.

Sukiyaki House has always been a favourite place for me. Love coming back, quality has never changed and service is always fantastic!

The entire experience at Sukiyaki is amazing. The service is always top level in addition to the amazing food. They always have interesting specials to try and have great recommendations. Definitely one of our favorite restaurants downtown to visit.

The food was exactly as you would expect. High quality, delicious sushi and we also got the Shabu-Shabu hot pot (pre-order item) which was great.
The only issue that evening was the service. We arrived on time but needed to wait until our table was wiped down. Fair enough. Overall, everything just seemed to be running very slow that evening. Took a long time for our drink order to be taken, took a long time for our bottle of sake to arrive. We would've liked another bottle halfway through our meal but the server never asked.
When we were about 80% done our meal, the server came by asking if we would like dessert. We declined and she kept asking if we were done our meal. We couldn't even decide before she asked again and again (5 mins later) if we were done. It was clear, at that point, that she needed us out however she offered no apology, no explanation and we felt completely rushed out.
As she was taking our payment, she said that the seating was for an hour and 45 minutes and we were coming up on that. If she had given us a heads up, we would've understood but felt that the situation was poorly handled.

We had a date night here. The food and service was amazing. We had the Sukiyaki and it very filling, but just was okay if you like hot pot. I recommend having some of their special sushi/sashimi dishes instead. Those were a different from what you typically find and absolutely amazing. Definitely would recommend and go again.

This is by far my favourite sushi spot in town! They accommodated adding another person to our reservation last minute and food and service is always fantastic. Special shout out to Judith, she always makes our dining experience better and even my friend who is a picky eater loved his food. All the cocktails we tried were amazing, the Matcha Margarita was one of our favourites! Overall everyone had a great time and we enjoyed all of our food and drinks. Thank you Sukiyaki House for a wonderful dining experience!

Amazing experience on Valentine’s Day!

Service was amazing, all of our servers were very informative about the menu and food and offered great suggestions! Near the end we were finishing our drinks and we’re about to leave when a new server rudely approached us and asked us to make our way out when we were informed that we had a two hour time limit on table and we were only on the 1 hour 45 minute mark. Other than that, the other servers and food were incredible.

Loved everything about our experience! From the team serving, to the delicious cocktails and unbelievable sushi. We sat at the counter which was a really fun experience watching the chefs make the rolls. I would highly recommend for a date night or fun family night out.

Best sushi in town, hands down. Staff is so kind, they go out of their way to entertain our kids with origami so we could enjoy the amazing food.

I hadn’t been here for a while and I definitely missed their fresh, delicious and creatively prepared selections! Sukiyaki House did not miss a beat. Their service, recommendations and every single thing we ordered was fantastic. From the cocktails to the appetizers and the freshly curated sushi/sashimi; all of it was perfect. Will be coming back for more very soon!
