Edamame beans tasted and looked like they were cooked yesterday (or thrown in the micro wave), the spicy octopus was to chewy to eat, the sushi was in best case mediocre and didn't taste of much/everything tasted the same. The bogo rolls was a steal but tips was calculated on the original price)not the bogo) which the server didn't say until I had paid. Definitely not worth the 170 dollars.

Food is always good as well as service. Only issue is that if you have outside eating there is an open air club across the street and the noise is kind of loud.

Went for a friend's birthday- there were 8 of us and we had plenty of room at the table we were seated at. Server was nice and friendly. Food was excellent!

Sushi Blues has been a favorite of ours for years! The sushi is always fresh and delicious and there are lots of unique rolls - Any of the NC State-themed rolls are delicious and even their standard rolls are right on point.

Ordered an app and 4 sushi rolls. Our appetizer came quickly and then we waited for 45 min for our sushi, I finally flagged our waiter down and asked to pay for the app since we never got our sushi. He was very apologetic and comped it, not sure if the kitchen was behind or someone else got order.

I was expecting more from Sushi Blues and honestly wasn’t impressed by the sushi rolls. I wasn’t aware most of them had cooked fish in them (like the Torro roll) and the Tuna was sooo fishy, overcooked and a very off putting dark grey. The prices were good with the BOGO, but I won’t return.

I love their BOGO sushi rolls and the variety of choices on their menu. I personally don't eat raw fish, so I appreciated the tempura and bacon options. I highly recommend the Footloose and Yellow Submarine rolls. I made a reservation, but didn't end up needing it since we were the first customers.

Udon soup is typically a clear broth. This broth had so much soy and was so salty it was more like eating soy sauce soup. Horrible. The tempura used a beer-batter coating instead of classic panko. Also completely awful and the shrimp as frozen packaged stuff. Not tasty and coating also too salty and I love salt. The octopus salad is amazing and very consistent. The rolls are very good and so is the nigiri. We will be back but we'll have to be snipers with the menu.

We took our family of 5 for sushi to end the holiday season! It was very busy upon arrival but thankfully they had our table reserved. Menu is expansive. Our sushi was very good and came out quickly. My Husband got a cucumber wrapped Roll That would Not stay together at all! He just ate with a fork! It's quite loud in there so would definitely get a table in the back! The Bogo deal Is a good one!

Fun date night on Glenwood! Laid back vibe and really good sushi. We did attempt to have the tuna dynamite appetizer though and were very surprised to get what appeared to look like cat food atop rice. When we returned it the waitress was unsurprised and extremely amenable. We subbed that out for edamame, which was honestly some of the better edamame I’ve had and well salted. Id recommend to the restaurant removing that appetizer, if many people send it back, which it sounds like they do. They always accommodate my dietary restriction and wrap sushi rolls in cucumber for me. Overall it’s a great place and the food is solid.

Never disappoints! Great service and great fresh sushi is why I will always make the effort to eat here when I am in town. My wife and I were in town for an event at PNC and we love Sushi Blues.
