LOVED our server, beautiful Ethiopian woman who's been there SEVEN YEARS! Dont miss the Veal, its pricey but a real treat !! Appreciated the portion size of it ! Also cocktails are awesome and clean- not too sugary or frilly - raspberry rhubarb tart not to be missed !

The food and service were outstanding. I was delighted to find a duck salad and entree! They were delicious. My guests had the soft shell crab. For dessert we had crème brûlée and rhubarb tart.

Quite reasonably priced breakfast fare given its location and charm. Everything was excellent but the donuts deserve special mention. I appreciated the post of excellent coffee which stayed hot through four cups. The dining room of the Tabard though unlike the bar is a little spartan and looks just like a basement.

Excellent restaurant for any occasion. Romantic and quiet. We had brunch. Always make a reservation. They have an outside court yard and inside dining. I will go again when I am in DC.

This was a favorite spot in the past, but, even though the food is still quite good, the experience is not. Our specific server was forgetful and neglectful. The drinks too small--all the fare overpriced. What used to be a lovely outdoor dining experience has been enclosed and might as well be indoors. It's a shame, but at least we have fond memories.
