Table 5 Ratings and Reviews
Table 5 is always great. It’s our go-to place once a month when we’re in Northville for a standing appointment. Mike is a great server, and the food is always good.
Great dinner at Table 5. Seated right on time. Server was very respectful, gave us lots of time to talk and never pressured us to order or hurry through dinner. Calamari appetizer was good but small compared to other restaurants so be forewarned. Not enough to share for four. Bar area is busy but sound did not carry much. Food was very good. A bit pricey but given overall experience worth it.
Cory is a great server - we always enjoy him and he makes us feel special and welcomed each and every time we dine at Table 5!
We had a blast, but the dinner took almost 4 hours w
Mike is great.
Great food, good service.
We go to Table5 on a regular basis, usually to seat at the Bar and eat from the bar menu, but sometimes in the main room as well. I think the food is one of the best in the metro Detroit area, they regularly have specials that are outstanding. Located downtown Northville so you can walk and shop around, have a drink nearby and eat outside in the warm weather
Great service. Great food. Quaint atmosphere
We celebrated a friend's birthday on a cold December evening with the warm hospitality, excellent food and wonderful staff at Table 5. Thank you.
The only thing that was unpleasant on this particular visit was the parking. It was very cold (single digits) and this restaurant has very limited street parking in front where their only entrance door is located. I dropped off my wife at the front entrance but I had to walk around block from rear parking lot to the front entrance. NOTE: Other restaurants on this street have a rear entrance for the convenience of their customers. Wound have been much worst if it had been snowing bad.
great place with fresh local fare
Outstanding food, ambiance, and service! A wonderful experience!
We had the calamari and the Duck that was on special. The calamari was good. The duck was OK, but too much sauce and not super special. The service was nice, but it was not quick - we only had time for app and entree in the hour we were there.
Great wine list. Good service. Food was delicious and hot. Waiter had good advice. We did not have to wait for our reserved table.
Brian the bartender... the best!
The food is stellar here, as it always is. The service, however, was a bit suspect. It took forever for someone to come to our table, and then to get our drink order. Then there was a long wait until our order was taken. After that, it did pick up. Could have been a busy time??
The baked halibut is terrific and the service was outstanding. We have been there many times and have never been disappointed.
Great food! Great service! Nice ambiance -- Wonderful evening!
Awesome food and staff! Great location.
Table 5 continues to be one of the best dining experiences in SE Michigan. An outstanding menu...fish pate appetizer, delectable salads(that they will split for you if you want to share) and excellent entrees. The halibut, the scallops and their steak always are excellently prepared with tasty sides. Their service team are always friendly and knowledgeable.
Great food, fast service and great environment. I recommend the fish!
Michigan white fish was delicious. I wish there was vegan options so I can recommend to my vegan husband and friends
The pot roast was amazing! the service was excellent and great ambiance
Our experience at Table 5, always very good, was enhaced by the service of Michael on a busy Wednesday night-
Great service and great food!
The food was great. Service was top notch. I plan to get back again.
Excellent food, excellent service, friendly staff, welcoming environment, highly recommend!
Great service, very friendly staff, nice atmosphere, food was superb! Would love to go back.
The place is awesome, service was outstanding.
Wine selection was pretty good, appetizers were tasty.
Wasn’t so happy with the main courses though. My husband and I love fish but both walleye and halibut were somehow fried and lost their natural taste. We were expecting something light, but felt heavy. If they’d been grilled/steamed would have gotten our 100%.
We came for my wife’s birthday. Everything was top notch and fantastic!!
I had the lamb racks, my wife the salmon. Food was partially cold. One meat was more rare, the other one well done. For the price we paid I simply expect more.
Unfortunately for the restaurant, there was a nearby water main break that drove diners in from other areas, making the restaurant particularly busy for a Tuesday night. It appeared to be understaffed resulting in an overly long dining experience. That said, the server was trying hard and the food was outstanding. If they are serving the halibut, get it. It is so good!
I will be back for sure as I am certain this was not the usual for this restaurant.
We had our wedding reception at this location back when it was called McKinnon's...so we like to go to Table 5 for anniversary dinners. Great food and friendly staff. Good wine list.
Excellent restaurant---the appetizers were phenomenal. We ended up ordering 4 appetizers for the two of us along with drinks. Service was great.
Dinners were really good but very small portions. Ordered desserts but they were very disappointing.
Good food and various selection of the wine.
Service is good and atmosphere also not bad at all.
Excellent espresso coffee I loved.
Feeling little overpriced for the quality of food, however it worth to visit since location is good.
Excellent scallops & sweet potato polenta. A green vegetable would be nice
Very trendy rustic atmosphere. On the day we went the menu was virtually completely new. We didn't know until after we arrived. We had the brussel sprouts, steak bites, soup, and calamari along with some beer and wine. Everything was fantastic. The sprouts were probably best...the steak bites a little over cooked but still very good. Great spot. Would definitely return.
Excellent waitstaff. William was our waiter and was very attentive. The appetizers and entrees were very delicious. We will definitely return.
Long time customers tonight for our Anniversary. Food always excellent! Seemed like a shortage of waitstaff service not up to normal. Wish Table 5 would return to boutique or more unique interesting wines as when they first opened. Wine menu is very common and not on par with the food menu.
