I have had tuna poke many times before. $ 17 and very generous portion of tuna. Lately the tuna is hard to find in the dish maybe less than half as much as before at $ 24 now. Change of management or chef???

Recommend hiring a chef!!! Very disappointing. Chowder was OK. Crabs cakes have too much filllers, can not taste any crab, aioli and dressing lacked flavor. Salt & Pepper wings needed both salt and pepper and were from a baby chicken, blue cheese dip poured like milk! Cocktails were the best part of this experience.

We had a very disappointing lunch. The menu was limited, and the service was slow. The coffee mug had chips along the edges, and generally there were crumbs on the carpet at 11:45 in the a.m.

The prices were expensive for the offering, and it was mediocre. It was disappointing for us as we were having lunch before a special wedding lakeside.

Unless they "up their game", I would suggest a pass.
A couple years ago we had a nice fondue dinner so this was an unfortunate disappointment.

I brought out of town guests from Tennesee who are golfers. They loved the locations, views of Green Lake and the golf course. And the food was superb! Thank you for helping make my tour a great one! Lois - Tours By Locals

Quiet Friday at the end of their breakfast service and we made reservations the night before. Our family of 4 arrived on time and there was only 1 or 2 other tables. The scenery on the patio was spectacular and that’s where our happy morning went off the rails. The server took our beverage orders and disappeared for way too long. Then came back to take our main meal requests and she was again gone a long time without checking our coffee which was long drank up. Our breakfast arrived and 3/4 if us ordered bacon and eggs with sourdough toast. All orders of toast were cold and in unbuttered. We buttered our own which by itself was no big deal but they were all cold so tasted lousy. The potatoes were pretty to look at but less that edible so we picked at them. We were all disappointed, including our children, since the environment was so promising - they have an amazing location and beautiful grounds on a golf course in an upscale community. Their staff training needs serious work however.

I sat for 20 minutes before anyone came over to me to see if I needed anything. I eventually had to get up and ask for someone to serve me. It got better from there. Food good, service lacking. Patio ambience and view the best in whistler!

I usually come to this place for lunch whenever I visit Whistler and generally very happy with the dishes. However, the fish and chip I had today didn't measure up to my previous experiences. The cod was not fresh and smelt quite bad. I couldn't finish the fish and would not recommend any of my friends to get fish and chips from there. On the other hand, my companion ordered a tofu rice bowl, the flavours were spot-on.

Fondue Dinners are great way to share food with family and friends, including pre-teens and teens. Maybe not for little children as fondue dinners may take too long for them.

Service is attentive and cheerful. Our pre-teens were very well treated by the staff. Our famiily dinner was a highlight of our vacation in Whistler.

We end up at Nicholas fairly regularly as we live in Emerald. We were very disappointed that last visit - food was average at best and service was below average at best. We asked if the white wine on the menu was a "dry white" and the response was I have no idea but wait I just served it that person I will go ask them.

I always enjoy coming to NN to meet up with friends for a casual drink and appys. The staff are always friendly and efficient. The ambience of overlooking the lake and golf course is amazing. Summers on the patio cannot be beat. This is a locals "secret" which I'm not willing to share.

We went for the $36pp four course fondue special. The food was an amazing value for the money. There was more than enough food for the two of us, the ingredients were excellent and we had a very good server. The table by the patio was a bit chilly with floor to ceiling windows, but the server was kind enough to bring my wife a blanket.

We came back here to celebrate our 16th Anniversary - our 16th on February 16th. It was here, at Nicklaus North, where we got married. And while the food was good and ambience was great, it shocked me that even though we put in our reservation notes that it was for our anniversary, not ONE WORD was spoken about it from the hostess to our wait staff.

We enjoyed ourselves without this, of course, but found it rather disappointing. A real miss on their part. Perhaps they don't acknowledge special occasions at all?

Also found it shocking that when we ordered a glass of wine that was horrible, and nothing near what it should have been, they refused to replace it.

This place will always be special because of our wedding, but it will be a long time, if ever, we spend as much money here to come back and dine.

I felt that we were badly ripped off and I left feeling uncomfortable about it. The fondue was good, but came with the equivalent of two pieces of vegetable each , literally . We ordered fondue for 4 adults and 3 children and had 8 pieces of carrot, 8 of broccoli and 2 small baskets of bread. I am sure it was incorrect, but we were told we needed to pay for more
I would question whether the chocolate fondue was Lindt ... and of course it actually came with just about one marshmallow each ...
Our bill came to 500 dollars. We were ripped off, and we knew it ...

I can not recommend it , and I would not go again.

The staff were friendly .

We had burgers which were only ok. My meat was overcooked and the tomatoes tasteless. I think the focus is on quantity, not quality.
But the bar is a good place to watch the Olympics.

We went to this restuarant because we were at Whistler skiing and it kept being recommended for fondue. Our party enjoyed it because we hadn't had fondue in like forever and it just sounded fun in the cold weather. The atmosphere was terrific. It is a short drive outside of Whistler and the restaurant is very pretty. The service was friendly. The food...honestly it was good but it reminded all of us why we hadn't had fondue in ages. The salad was very good. The cheese fondue course was absolutely exactly what it was supposed to be. The meat course had you cook everything in beef broth so everything tasted slightly like beef broth but the slamon, shrimp, beef and pork were very tender and quite good. We ate every bite of the chocolate dessert - marshmellows, strawberries, pineapple and cake. So was it worth it? Absolutely for the fun of fondue after skiing in a beautiful location with very good service. Do I want fondue again any time soon? Not really!!

I have been to this restaurant many times during golf season and it does very well as a pub style restaurant. During the Christmas season they decided to try and become a five star restaurant. It didn’t work. The menu choices were way over priced and the food combinations were not good. 2 had the fondue at $55 per person and came with about 2oz of beef, pork, shrimp and salmon to be shared by 2. We also ordered the steelhead which turns out was smoked. Very overpowering flavour served on an attempt at risotto. Complete mush and tasteless. We also had the mushroom soup which was finished with a truffle oil. This was not listed on the menu and ruined the soup. When we mentioned it the server, she agreed she could smell the truffle oil and would inform the kitchen. She then came back and insisted this was a brown butter not truffle oil. I have been a ticketed chef for 26 years and definitely know the difference. Go back to pub food table 19. You did that well.

Four course fondue special:
1. Salads were great.
2. Cheese fondue was excellent: will have it anytime.
3. Fondue Chinois was a disappointing: we expected fondue bourguignonne ie fondue with hot oil. But it was fondue with chicken broth (which, to be fair, is fondue chinois, ie hot pot). So mea culpa! The disappointment is that the chicken flavour overpowered the flavour everything cooked in it.
4.Chocolate fondue went down very well with the "chocoholic" members of the family!
So a game of three periods, of which two periods were a success and the other a no score draw!

Great wine list, featuring favourite BC wines.

And the service was friendly, prompt and welcoming: Five Stars

Cheese Fondue was incredible, good value, plenty of food and great flavors. However, avoid the meat fondue at all costs. Raw meat sits next to food you don't cook, and then the pot you cook your meat in is a flavorless soup / stew at a medium warm to hot temp. Takes an age to cook it, and when done tastes very bland! And to be honest the meat fish soup combo is pretty grim.
Avoid this dish and your meal / experience is worth the trip out, try to eat whilst there is some light (only need a little, full moon will do) to enjoy the view!!!! The chocolate fondue tasted good too.

Went for a friendly meet up with friends. We Chose Table 19 as it was a long weekend, many restaurants booked in the village and parking in the village can be difficult.
The golf course is a little of of the way but it offers consistently good food, casual dining, and conversations do not have to shout over the music.
Keep up the good work!
We will go again.
