It was nice. One girlfriend thought it was strange they charged for a glass of tap water.
I have been to Tableau many times and it never fails to meet my expectations
Used to be our go to place we are foodies and I must say I along with my 7 guests disappointed. We all agreed it has changed....
New brunch menu is great. Try the pork belly with poached eggs. The pommes dauphines are always a delightful side.
The tables are quite close together and we were seated next to someone with a very loud voice.
That detracted from our overall enjoyment of what was otherwise a very pleasant meal.
I always enjoy my food here! Our server was very attentive and prompt with the drink orders and knowledgeable about the food. Not too noisy but a nice atmosphere.
Nice service
Overpriced for what you get
Wines were lovely
The food and the service were both excellent. The taste of the dishes was formidable.
The only negative was the music... for a French bistro, the modern music was pathetic.
Wow what a great dinning experience. Excellent staff. JOSE Arnoldo Da Silva is the manager and he epitomizes great customer service. Very attentive and genuine. And food was incredible. And we will be back. Thank you Jose and team Tableau
The restaurant was so incredibly noisy that I couldn't have a conversation with my friend. The staff kindly changed my table to one at the back of the restaurant. This was better but still too noisy. I was also very disappointed with the pork cheeks entree. This seemed like something I would see at a low end diner. I've had the steak before (which is good) but wanted something different. I think Tableau should expand the number of regular entrees. I live in the neighbourhood so I would like to go frequently but the menu is too limited and I don't want to risk another disappointment. For example, why not have scallops or salmon?
I just emailed a friend and told him how disappointed I was with the overall experience so we will probably not go to Tableau for his birthday. The good thing is the staff...they are very friendly and helpful. Also, the Happy hour is great but perhaps that was the source of the extremely noisy tables (we had a reservation for 6:00 PM so perhaps there was an overlap with this crowd).
Cute place for a date! Great service and HH had a bunch of options.
I like this restaurant and the food is great but they are understaffed. It took them almost half an hour to get us our cocktails because they had one bartender for a busy Friday at lunch. The wine arrived 15 minutes before the martinis. When the martinis finally arrived one had about 3 ox of vodka and the other had about 1 oz and the 1 oz one was warm. Very annoying.
Outstanding service, great food
Awesome dinner!!
Great atmosphere for Sunday Brunch with friends. Love your coffee and espresso drinks. Service at Tableau is fantastic!
The best happy hour in the city!
It was my birthday and the waiter and manager helped made it very special!
The food and service, along with the comfortable surroundings is terrific. The ability to bring along a "special" bottle of wine is appreciated with the corkage. Second time and will be back!

Service is good and place and decor are amazing. Food wasn’t exceptional, I could have done better at home with same ingredients. Nothing different nor sophisticated was presented in our food experience.
Unfortunately the food is inconsistent here. We ordered the mushroom toast which was blande. It needed more gravy/sauce. In contrast the free range chicken entree was overly salted. It was like they sprinkled salt all over the plate mistakenly as pepper. This isn’t my first time here and my favorite dishes were a disappointment.
This dinner was a wedding anniversary celebration and service was mediocre.
Great setting and atmosphere for a lovely Valentine's Day dinner.
Excellent service and food.
Atmosphere a little noisy and fries a little salty.
This the 2nd time I've been to the bistro and as I travel extensively I really appreciate finding a restaurant which offers an excellent dining experience without having to break the bank. The meals are attractive to the eye as well as palate without being overly fussy. Comfort food comes to mind and the service was very good. I look forward to returning on my next trip.
The last time I was here was about 2-3 years ago. I brought my boyfriend here for his birthday dinner because I had good memories of quality food and service. We came around 6:30 so the restaurant was fairly empty, maybe only 4 other tables and a couple people at the bar; otherwise, very quiet. Another couple had just come in right before us, and there were 3 workers helping put their coats away. No one asked us for our coats so we wore it in . The table just before us and we both sat near the windows in the entrance area of the restaurant. The waiter came and welcomed the table before us and read out the special for Sunday and walked off. He never gave us any welcome or introduced the menu to us when he dropped it off. I had to wave him over later to order. I'm sure the staff are not rude people; they were all very friendly, but it was a little disappointing because the table just before us were getting very different treatment from us. I have gotten more attentive service at a fully packed restaurant which added to my disappointment. Overall, the taste of the food was good, and I always liked the decor and the general ambience. I wouldn't deter people from going but I probably would mention that the service is not as up to par any more.
I regularly organize business lunches at Tableau. The food and service is consistently excellent, and the ambiance is modern and comfortable. I have only been to Tableau for dinner on one occasion, but I would recommend it as a date spot or for a weeknight dinner with clients.
Overall was good. Desert on the dine out menu was super!!!! One thing though, I told them it’s my husbands birthday and would want a candle on the desert, and yet they completely forgot about it!
I went as dine out and the food wasn't really good like l expected.
Disappointed as the food is normally really good but this visit was bland. I shouldn't have had to add salt then hot sauce to my meal for flavour.
The food tasted nothing like french cuisine. The boeuf bourguignon that we all looked for was a big disappointment. The only good part was the almond financier. Skip the main and get the desserts!
Highly recommend Tableau for brunch, ladies dinner, or date night. Great cocktails and wine list (I love the Joie Pinot Noir). Food is rich and flavourful. Great ambience, decor, and service is friendly and not overbearing.
we ordered the dineout menu, the food is fair but the service is quite good.
Appetizers and dessert are very good, but the main course lets me so disappoint. Beef likes boiled meat
Wonderful place to having a date
Our dining experience was very nice. We had the dine out menu and everything was delicious and beautiful to look at. Good portion size and great value for money. I love the ambience and design of this restaurant. I would recommend others to go here.
Great dining as always. Would be nice to see a corkage free BYOB offering?
It's okay; not great. For the price, there are better alternatives. It is not a good date spot as tables are very close together. You can hear people beside you perfectly - which makes it awkward.
The food was good, but not very overpriced for the quality.
Had Dine out menu . Food was very boring. Ingredients were ordinary. Totally not worth $80 for two people.
We had a business lunch and food and service was good but we were seated by the kitchen. Also it was quite loud and hard to hear the conversation.
