Brilliant lunch spot! Great service and great food!

The food was hot and tasty. Our server was attentive and friendly and would certainly recommend the Tap and Barrel to friends. It was an enjoyable evening out.

Chicken wings with Korean chili sauce were good. Sliders are good but might as well get a whole burger and fries.

Great location. Excellent food. The apple tart dessert was amazing. Can sometimes be too loud inside but with COVID it was quiet and peaceful. Enjoyed my dinner a lot.

We enjoyed our dinner and our server was GREAT! We did not appreciate being offered the back corner table. When greeted she began by saying... you requested a window table... then walked us to the furthest darkest corner table?? And asked is this OK?? The restaurant was not full we said no and she took us to a WINDOW TABLE!

After seated it was very nice!

Not really impressed with this location. It was New Years Eve and we had reservations. Restaurant was about 25% full so not busy at all. My wife and I were seated at a lower long table so we had to sit next to one another and basically this killed all atmosphere that an enjoyable dinner typically has. There were several booths and lounge tables available but I guess this was the assigned table for the reservation.

Service was slow but with no where to go we did wait it out. Food was sub par to what I was expecting and also overpriced. Pizza was over saused and under cooked.

I guess this should have been expected when I was able make reservations last minute...

I’ll perhaps try a different location in the future and see if it’s any better.

New Years Eve Celebration

Ben the manager provided excellent and personalized customer service. We were seated in the "Barrel Room" which was quieter than the main restaurant. The food was lovely. Would recommend for groups, couples or individuals.

The food was delicious & the service was great, Tap & Barrel have really stepped up their game. They suggested some of their new menu items and they did not disappoint. The French Onion Sliders are one of the best sliders I’ve had. Our server and the manager were very friendly & helpful and their COVID procedures made us feel safe.

The overall experience was good. Loved the local wild mushroom pizza. They no longer have chicken gyoza. Instead, they now have chicken pork gyoza. That was a bummer because we specially went for chicken gyoza. We've had it many times in past so wanted to try again.

We came at 6 and and stayed until 10. Service was fast and the wait staff was very attentive. Happy hour menu had good variety of options. Love the glass permanent dividers between booths, looks tasteful and not distracting.

The worst fish n chips I have had , soggy and no taste

Overall had a great experience, they were able to accommodate our family of 6 to sit together and get a window seat on a busy Saturday night. The food and service was very good.

The place has a fantastic view on the North Shore. The waiter was very kind in accomodate our seating request: we wanted to seat outside, in a sunny spot, and he moved us from our original table in the shadow. The food is good, but I like to go there mainly for the view.

Loved the new Best of B.C. Menu!! Food and service were amazing.

We specifically reserved an outside table because of COVID. We arrived and were told we had to sit inside because they were closing the patio. Not acceptable at 6:30pm during the pandemic.

Great selection of appetizers to munch on while admiring the beauty of Coal Harbour and the North Shore. Our server was attentive, our drinks cold, and our food warm - great antidote to the COVID blahs

the calamari starter is just amazing. my steak was tough but the hostess gave us a compliemenatry house dessert which was declicious. So in all a very pleasant evening. thanks!

The outdoor patio was closed but Justin and the server were very happy to help and let us sit outside. The drinks were great and the food was great! The service was fantastic! Will definitely be back!

Quick friendly attentive staff. They make you feel welcome and the food make you feel at home.

I have to mention the felt the fish was over cooked. Tasty but was very dark. It looked like it was forgotten in the fryer . I was there a week or so ago and saw it passing us. It did not look burnt. The cod was tasty though. Being in the patio was nice and my 93 year old aunt enjoyed the view and the cod. Did it mention it to the waiter but should have but I did not want to wait to much longer. Thanks for checking in. 😷

Server was very friendly, but forgot to ring in parts of our food order. Management did handle it very well. Gorgeous views. The wine by the glass list is better than most.

I live close by and visit Tap and Barrel regularly! I’ve often enjoyed the service, the views and food there and that’s why I offered to celebrate my friend’s anniversary there. Unfortunately this time was a bit of disappointment.

Excellent in every way! Food and drink is top notch.

The brunch menu is not on the scanned menu.
The server messed up with order, but quickly resolved it.

Love the outdoor experience you’ve created here and will be very sad when winter is here and we can’t dine outside! Felt so safe and distanced!
