    We choose T&B to cerebrate a big professional milestone for my friend. Upon arrival, the hostess told us that we would have the table for 2 hours, despite having some empty tables. We had drinks and food, the service and food were fine. At hour sharp, the waitress brought bill and we paid, although we didn’t request it, and at 1.5 hours mark a very rude guys (maybe manager) came to tell us that we needed to go as they needed the table - kicked us out, despite having a couple empty tables. We got really disappointed, as we were celebrating a special occasion and this gave a bitter end to the evening.

    Went into the women’s washroom. And a male was inside when I came out of the stall. Not a comfortable experience for me, and I did not feel safe considering I didn’t have my phone …. Not happy about that. Consider if a young girl less than 10 years of age experiences this and something happens. What is the repercussions?

    I was very pleased with our service , I’m a celiac and they were very accommodating to my needs our waiter was very understanding of my food restrictions and he was very helpful .

    More vegan options needed. I had the Avocado Bowl and it was absolutely delicious. Please provide more options like that : ) I would not recommend T&B to a vegan friend, but perhaps to a meat eater.

    Hi Jenny! We appreciate your feedback! Very happy to hear you enjoyed our Grilled Avocado Power Bowl. I'll be sure to share this with our menu development team. I do also want to share with you that we have a super yummy dish called the Ranchero Rice Bowl that you can order with Tofu, it is completely Vegan so no modifications needed. This is one of my favorite dishes on our menu and hope you get the chance to give it a try!

    I booked a reservation for 4:15 and when we got there they said no it’s at 4:30 even though it said 4:15 on my email, they proceeded to seat us. They left us standing in the middle of the restaurant to wait as they rearranged people who were already eating. The hostess then continues AGAIN to say that our reservation was at 4:30 that’s why even though we kept saying that it was at 4:15.

    Terrible service and terrible meal. The waiter completely ignored our large party and the dinner came out cold and no one tried to fix anything. I have dined at tap and barrel at other locations and never had this experience so this may be specific to this location. Very disappointing especially for a large group celebrating an occasion.

    We were able to get in quickly and were seated on the heated patio, which I appreciated as a game was on the TV inside. We had lunch/brunch, and my boyfriend loved the avocado bennie.

    They didn’t have all food options available on menu and then when we ordered, our food arrived incorrectly. Instead of covering the food cost (for that plate) they gave a free drink. Wasn’t really happy with that. I still left a small tip and the server shook his head in front of us. Not impressed with that

    Our waiter was fabulous. Timing was perfect. Always there to help and was funny. Sorry cannot remember his name but he served party of 2 for Scott Harrold. One of the best waiters ever !

    This was our 2nd visit to this location. I found the atmosphere to be very loud, the seating uncomfortable and the food mediocre. I ordered the Tap Burger with fries and my hubby ordered the Ranchero Rice Bowl with Cajun chicken. Our server forgot to order his meal so his arrived much later than mine and we pretty much ate separately. I won't be going back.

    The food was excellent. Service was great even considering the busy Saturday night crowd. Noise level was a little high because the hockey game was on, but not terribly so. Overall an excellent meal.

    Service was attentive, pleasant, friendly, informative. Ambience was ok, music not too loud. We were able to actually have conversations. The chair was uncomfortable—I guess that works if you don’t want people to stay too long. Food was meh. I had the Tap burger and it was really not any better than a White Spot burger. The fries seemed packaged and a little too much like McDonalds fries. Was the kitchen running behind and they did a take out drive through order?

    Great location with $1/hr parking nearby. Closer to restaurant is $2/hr. We ordered the Happy Hr steak special and PB&J burger off regular menu, and some Happy Hr drinks. The steak was done perfectly (medium rare) and the PB&J burger is always consistent and tasted amazing. There was a good variety of drink specials as well. Server was efficient, friendly and engaging, and knew the menu well. We ended the meal with the butter tart from the fall menu. Although the flavour was very good and not too sweet, the filling was runny, so not your traditional butter tart. I would've preferred a more thickened filling, but the server did inform us when we ordered it, and we still wanted to try it regardless. We waited about 20 minutes for our food, which is within the norm for what we ordered, and the place was busy. So, all in all, we were pleased with how things went.
