The staff was super friendly and congratulated us on our 8 year anniversary. They reserved a table with an amazing view. It was perfect!
You should go check this place! I had an amazing foods with the best view.
We had a wonderful Sunday lunch with amazing service.
We absolutely loved the place. Service and ambience was great!! Food was good but the quantity was a bit less as compared to the price of the item. Overall loved it!
The staff were friendly and welcoming. It was well organized, they were on top of sanitization, tables were spread out and covid protocols were in placed. They have an extensive outdoor patio and offer reservations which is a plus!
Good food, Great location and good services
we had brunch the brunch menu was limited though
It was a treat to be able to enjoy the sunshine and some delicious food.
The shipyards location has breathtaking scenery and a wonderful patio. The staff were friendly and despite the busy time of day we didn't wait long.
Can I suggest a more varied soft drink or alcohol free cocktail menu.
Best seat on the patio looking to the city from the north shore. Absolutely breathtaking. People walking by with dogs and smiles in the sunshine. Pink bubbles were a flowing and Emily, our server, was fun and efficient. Plenty of variety on the menu. Good times!
Went for brunch
Expensive a 9 ounce glass of wine for over 30.00 once tax in is crazy! Food was good, but overall expensive for what you get. The "heaters" on the decks were limited and meant it was VERY cold as a guest.
Went for dinner on the patio because of the new restrictions. We got to our table and I asked to be moved as it was cold and there was no heater. Our waitress told us that when making reservations, we have to request a heater for the table, although it wasn’t stated anywhere) Luckily for us, We were moved within 10 minutes to a table with a heater. We order the PB$J burger and the Cajun a chicken Cobb Salad. The egg on top of the salad was perfect! We finished our dinner just in time before the rain started. Definitely would come again!
We have been to this restaurant quite a few times. Location, ambience and drinks are great. The food is good but has room to improve.
Server was nice and kind and amazing!! Nice view with wine and beer...
Easy booking - patio right by the water. ONLY con was the table was so long I felt really far from my boyfriend and you can’t move the chairs to be closer.
The waitress was not very nice and kind she didn’t seem like she wanted to be there and I felt very uncomfortable and not very welcomed
Our food was great! The service was on point and the ambiance was nice.
Social distance was in practice, felt safe but not overwhelmed.
Huge patio area with great view, salmon was very good.
The service was incredibly accommodating and kind.
It was good environment and friendly people and good food
COVID measures were really well done and service was kind and efficient.
I ordered a lettuce bun for my burger. It literally came with a limp piece of romaine on top of a tiny patty. If I could post a photo here of this poor presentation, I would. Red Robin (of which i should never compare a nice restaurant to) has a thick crispy iceberg lettuce bun beautifully presented. Very disappointing and it’s not just the lack of flavor, the presentation was horrific and the fact that an expediter thought this was good to go is surprising. Too bad. We liked this restaurant
There was lipstick on one of our glasses and the service was not great.but the food overall was good. The margarita pizza had a pool of oil on top tho:/
Really good food, got a patio spot, nice and warm with the heaters, good food and drinks, love their happy hour. Nice people & quick service.
I took my son to Tap and Barrel to celebrate the Spring Break.
He claims that the kids cheeseburger was the best he has ever had. I had the steak, which was cooked perfectly and came with fresh greens. The wine list included some amazing choices! I selected my favourite local Vancouver Island Unsworth Allegro. We finished our meal with a delicious dish of gelato.
Our table overlooked the water and we enjoyed watching the activity outside while we ate.
Our server was training and did an outstanding job. We are both gluten intolerant and she was well-versed in the options available to us.
We had such a relaxed and enjoyable evening!!
Still loved what I ordered but our foods especially my companion’s was not hot. Always great service. Merci
It is a great place to be, friendly crew and delicious food. it is made for bear
Good service. Felt Covid safe. Food was excellent.
Food was made fresh but a bit greasy. I ordered their tap burger. Customer service was very good.
Food was fresh and delicious and staff are nice and friendly
Dined here with husband Saturday night. Twenty minutes after I placed order they told me they sold out of item I ordered. Could find no alternatives on menu. When food arrived both orders were cold and had to be returned. When food eventually arrived the steak, ordered md rate was rare. Service was slow and not very good. I attribute this to uncertainty of server managing a diner affected by a series of unfortunate events. Very poor experience. They offered to pay for my 7.95 French fries. Great venue and vibe but will not return.
Beautiful view. Lots of beer options. Food is always good.
This is a culturally and socially a must-see place at Lonsdale Quay with a beautiful vintage shipyard style design and atmosphere. Warm and welcoming staff in addition to delicious food and of course their beers! Eat well and walk at Lonsdale Quay after.
Great server ... people always smiling.
Food was great nice venue
Reliably good food. Informal, comfortable atmosphere. Good mix of young, young families and not so young patrons.
The menu has changed since I was last here. It was a good meal, server was pleasant
Our food took a long time to come. The table that sat down after us was done eating before our food even came. They came over a couple of times and said it would be out shortly but it wasn’t. We could see the kitchen and 2 of our meals were ready well before the others and were cold when they came. By that point we just wanted to be done and leave so we didn’t complain. They use the QR code on the table to get the menu and pay. Strangely, when I opened safari later in the day it refreshed and I could see what the people now sitting at our table were eating, a family of 6. Then later it update and 2 people were there having beers.
Great selection. Tried the PB&J burger. Will go back! Fried pickles were a delight ♥️ .
I like the place, is a lot of room. Food is good, bears are excellent.
I had the delicious spicy Cesar! The waffle with crunchy fried chicken and perfectly cooked poached egg Yummy.
The bowl of fruits was not great but difficult to get nice fresh fruits at this time of year. I tasted the banana bread and it was very good and on the light side. I want to go back
We went for the dine out brunch. It was great value for money. My friend had the granola and the double bacon benedict, and lived it. I had the fruit bowl - really fresh! The breakfast burger however was a little disappointing as the beef patty and the fried egg were overcooked. But as I said, great value for money and good ambiance and friendly service. The hot beverages - B52 coffee and Spanish coffee were excellent. Would definitely go back again.
