Great selection. Tried the PB&J burger. Will go back! Fried pickles were a delight ♥️ .
I had the delicious spicy Cesar! The waffle with crunchy fried chicken and perfectly cooked poached egg Yummy.
The bowl of fruits was not great but difficult to get nice fresh fruits at this time of year. I tasted the banana bread and it was very good and on the light side. I want to go back
We went for the dine out brunch. It was great value for money. My friend had the granola and the double bacon benedict, and lived it. I had the fruit bowl - really fresh! The breakfast burger however was a little disappointing as the beef patty and the fried egg were overcooked. But as I said, great value for money and good ambiance and friendly service. The hot beverages - B52 coffee and Spanish coffee were excellent. Would definitely go back again.
The server look not so happy when we say we were there for th dine out festival, don’t know if that’s the issue
Not too impressed. Inside could smell kitchen. Maybe seating too close
Typical pub food nothing outstanding. Took way to long to get initial service. Then just basic service with no server customer interaction. May or may nit come back. Nice spot though.
Will return! Had a great Lunch.
Outstanding waitress
lots of great drinks! fun atmosphere and good music!
Plexiglass between tables makes it feel safe when masks are off to eat and drink.
The lonsdale Tap&Barrel is my favorite location. We always have a good time. The last time we ate here, we had the best server. She was knowledgeable, make some good recommendations, was down to earth and kind. She needs a raise!
If you prefer a quieter experience, opt for a booth in the dining room. Otherwise, the lounge area is a great time!
If you go during dine out, be very certain youre using the right menu. My $22 lunch cost $35. Total bill was $50 above my plan.
We all really enjoyed our meals and our server was very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the wine flights
Neat place haven’t been to this one before
I booked a reservation for dine out vancouver brunch. The dine out website had this listed and when I booked the reservation through open table, brunch dine out special was listed as a reason for the reservation. When a arrived, no brunch dine out menu was provided. We had to ask where the brunch dine out menu was, and we're told that it wasn't happening with no additional exanation or apology. The service was fine otherwise, but there was zero acknowledgement that we were not being offered the brunch dine out special which the reason why we went to tap and barrel and made a reservation. If I had known in advance I would have made a reservation somewhere else.
good PQR. Sports bar atmosphere - many/ most stand up tables. 7 or 8 large sports screens. enjoyed the quality and variety of the food. Not overwhelming but appropriate portion sizes. nice patio
Good experience overall but they really should do something buy a drink for a persons birthday or something like that to make it a more special experience. Also was a bit too loud at times but it's also to be expected there.
amazing vegan range. We will be back for sure. thanks
Was keen to try Dine Out menu. Cauliflower steaks were fine but could have been served warm or hotter. The taco appetizer was great . Dessert was ok but not super good, we were warned that the kitchen had run out of vegan ice cream , disappointing.
The food was bland and without inspiration. I could do the same at home with more care and elegance. The service was almost rude and not friendly. Overall a bad experience
We came to try out their Dine Out Vancouver menu. Our hostess sat us at our table, we ordered drinks and then our server asked if we wanted to start with an appetizer. I told her we wanted to order from their dine out menu. Our server told us they are no longer serving dine out as they ran out of most of their food, steak, lobster, mashed potatoes, dessert. We were not left with much else to pick from. The girls at reception should have mentioned something to us before seating us as we would have left the restaurant right away. Not good at all.
The food was immaculate. Best food me and my bf have ever had. The only thing that kinda ruined it was the chairs. The upstairs portion of the restaurant had uncomfortable chairs. The service was kinda slow but it was Valentine’s Day so it’s understandable. Overall, highly recommend this place!
Went to try their Dineout Menu and it did not disappoint! Great pairings with the 3 course meal and also awesome that the had a tasting menu for my little ones! Love that breweries welcome children. Food tasty! My hubby raved about the steak! Great place for lunch/brunch.
We sat near where we got very cold air from the back doors opening frequently
It was very uncomfortable as we had to eat with our coats on
Wasn't impressed with the wine from the tap It had an effervescent to it
We Didn't finish it --that never happens
Food and service was great! The loud table across the way having a conversation with a maskless person from the table next to us was not
Always enjoy our times at T & B! Great view, very Covid friendly, food is wonderful and the service is excellent! Good place for any occasion!
We got to sit right by a roaring fireplace with a view of the ocean. Service and food were excellent. Extensive selection of beers on tap! Great experience, will definitely go again.
After 2 disappointing times at tap and barrel (food was barley warm) my girlfriend and I decided to give it one more try, well this time was much better, the food was good and hot when brought to us, we will be back
I requested a window seat, and that request was honoured. Server was new but very sweet. Drinks, dinner, dessert all wonderful. Loved checking out this North Shore location!
Everything was great, except the kitchen was backed and it took awhile before dinner arrived. Serving staff were awesome.
They have an amazing Dine Out Vancouver Menu this year!
I’ve never been here before but the staff was friendly and professional. The music was a little loud but OK. The eggs Benny dish was absolutely delicious and I really appreciated all the Covid precautions that were taken up to and including a movable glass partition between our table and the next. I felt very safe...definitely come again!
I like the burgers and beer here. They need more GF options on their Dine Out.
Good food and the service was good. Very happy with this visit.
Food was great! Service was excellent! Highly recommend this spot
Food was subpar for the price
First time and it was a awesome
Experience! Food was tasty specially the Cajun burger!! Margarita pizza not so much.
Definitely recommend having a dinner there noise level i marked as moderate is for game nights when people are screaming and cheering in the background so if you don’t like noise avoid going on those days!
Decent food great beer and fun ambiance made for a great time
Lovely ambience, big to allow for Covid friendly lunches, good menu, service excellent! My favourite restaurant
Great time
