7oz AAA sirloin, kale caesar salad, fries
The brunch food was very overprices for what you got. The bacon was like the microwave bacon, the meat in all dishes was minimal. Not great value. Great location and nice staff, but the food wasn't great
This was our second time here. We remembered the fantastic menu and service from our visit in Feb this year, so we came back for my husband’s bday dinner today. We had the same very friendly service and the food was excellent! We sat outside right next to the water. Beautiful view of the Vancouver waterfront! We had the tuna poke bowl, Cajun chicken rice bowl and fried chicken burger. Plus the happy hour waffle fries and guacamole/salsa & chips. My husband received a complimentary dessert for his bday - he chose the mini apple pie with gelato. Everything was delicious! We will definitely be back!!
Was very indecisive about a table when I arrived, looked at 4 with Hannah before deciding that table would be OK. Hannah took it all in her stride with a smile on her face.
Sydney, our server, was fab. So, so patient while we chatted before making our choices from the menu. Also, her communication was spot on!
The interactions between us and Hannah and Sydney made for a great experience!
Our favourite place to go on north shore! Ample room and great food and ambiance!
For the most part food and service very good however they couldn't give us a table that was to our liking even with an entire adjacent section empty.
Must try spicy margarita and Moroccan salad best paring IMO.
It was very relaxing and view was breathtaking. I never get tired of it.
Food was outstanding. Best poke bowl in lower mainland. Selection of hazy ipas was excellent
Too expensive by a long shot.
Happy Hour prices are not good.
Food was okay but not worth the prices.
Location was excellent.
Service was okay.
Definitely not a place I'd go frequently.
Nice pub with great location and large selection of BC beers
The food and the drinks were great but the service was not the greatest. Cups and dishes were quite dirty.
Beautiful location! Our server just seemed a little unengaged with our table once she saw that we were only ordering waters to drink! We all modified our meals a bit, and none of them came with the modifications. Other that that, it was good!
We like dining here! Beautiful location and we had a great server!
The best place to watch the big game in Greater Vancouver!
Our first server was disinterested in serving us. Our second server could not tell us his name and proceeded to get our drink order wrong twice and then forgot a third order. He proceeded to then bill us for the 2 incorrect drinks and his witty remark was... how else can I disappoint you today. The incorrect drinks were removed from our bill, without even an apology. Would not recommend Tap and Barrel at the Shipyard.
The music is top 40 / pop which isn't my taste Try cooler sounds. Also, go for a more a more chilled soundtrack during brunch or happy hour.
Service was great with good suggestions for beer. Noise level was minimal outside and this was pleasant. Staff went out of their way to ensure a special spot for a birthday celebration.
Love the staff
If you want me to write a review of more than 50 words, then think about providing an incentive.
Very nice setting in a spectacular area. Service was great, bistro food was not remarkable but that was expected.
I had the most delicious Poke Bowl....tried wine I wasnt familiar with and loved the enthusiastic crowd watching the hockey game
Just ok for brunch, although a great location. Service was good as always
I would say that the service was a little slow. I ordered power bowl without rice. I have had this before and the staff adjusted by adding more of each other ingredients. This time I mostly got green leaves with the dressing. It took a while for our waitress to come and do a quality check, and when she finally did arrive, to her credit she was quick to remedy the situation and my meal was great. Overall a great setting, and food was good, but frustrating to wait for a meal and then have to wait quite a while to remedy the errors made with it.
Everything was above average. Nice location and decent food, though nothing special about the food. I like the patio, it’s huge. My cocktail was fantastic though yum
I understand the stanley cup playoffs are important but the TV volume was beyond loud.
Also patio doors open letting in the 40* heat? Would not close upon request. Canned pineapple in poke bowl was gross.
A fantastic heat wave day spend on the patio. Great service from Tania , fanning us with memories of cool St.Petersburg. Shared our favourite grilled halumni cheese sandwich with kale salad to start with, followed with lettuce wraps, and poke tuna bowl. Even though we had an umbrella we needed extra ice to keep our beer from boiling. Little suggestion would love to have had freezer chilled beer glass.
Brunch was yummy - the chicken and waffles is goood. The waffle is more on the crispy side than fluffy even with the maple syrup. But the chicken was crispy and super flavourful. The cayenne honey drizzle was delicious but def could have been a bit more of it. We were sat outside and it was so nice on such a hot day being by the ocean with a bit of a breeze (it was the start of June’s heatwave). Our second coffee refill was cold :( yes it was a hot day but still wanted our coffee to be hot. Service was friendly and fast.
We were seated in the shady area of the restaurant which is what we requested. We were very happy with our location. Service was friendly and helpful. Check ins with us were done on a regular basis. Restaurant is in a fabulous location.
We had two little kids. We had the perfect table on the museum side of the restaurant and the kids could splash around in the water in front of the museum.
Amazing service with lovely staff. I ordered Tap burger and I wished there was more lettuce, tomato and sauce in it as the beef was juicy but missed freshness. Overall love this place and food.
The food has vastly improved over the years. Great service. The music was (and usually is) too loud, though.
Food and personnel were very nice. Service became a little slow when the restaurant got busy. We waited over half an hour to get a chance to order desert. The server brought it but forgot the coffee
Really enjoyed Father's Day on the east (shaded in late day) patio. Service was great! Happy Hour everyday 3 - 6. Maybe could get a few cheaper items on the food specials and about $1 less per drink. Can't beat the area!
Always love coming here. Staff are amazing. Food and drink superb. Been coming on my own to watch euros and always feel welcome and comfortable!!
Had outstanding service. Food was tasty. I do find the prices to be a littler higher for the same dishes then other similar restaurants.
Wonderful food, and a picture perfect view from the patio!
The service was horrible, the waitress never showed up and we were waiting for so long. Then even after that initial mess up she still didn't come to our table for long periods of time. One of the worst services I've ever had.
Front of house and wait staff were amazing.
Made reservation in advance as it was to be a sunny weekend and thus a popular and busy place. Had a nice table outdoors. Last time we had a wonderful ceviche to start with. Hopefully it will come back? So in lieu of ceviche we decided to start by sharing a grilled holumni cheese sandwich, and were a bit surprised that it arrived with fries, our bad, as the previous time the server must have asked us if we wanted to upgrade to a kale Caesar salad instead of fries. The sandwich was so good as if we were vacationing in Greece, that we went for another order, this time with 2 Caesar sides. Great selection of beers , totally happy with my choice of a Strange Fellows Talisman Pale Ale lighter in alcohol yet full on flavour.
Service and Food were Excellent! Steak Frites! Our Server was friendly, fast and knew his brews!
