Tendido Cero was our second project of Cambio De Tercio Restaurant Group, opened in February, 2001.

It is located in the heart of Chelsea-South Kensington, just opposite to Cambio De Tercio.

It’s all about Wonderful Tapas here, small dishes of traditional and modern recipes from our rich Spanish gastronomy, which are ideal to be shared by the whole table.

We had an absolutely delicious meal - every dish was superb. The choices were varied and food was beautifully presented. Portions were small, but we followed the recommendation of ordering three dishes each and it was the perfect amount. The service was attentive - if at times a tiny bit overly so (one of my plates was removed before I’d finished eating!)

Fabulous food! Olives, cheese, tomato bread all amazing! We had pork cheeks, squid and octopus which were so good! For dessert we had churros and chocolate and the lemon tart - delicious!

I visited this place after decades. First, artichokes salad and beetroot were excellent. Tuna tataki was OK. but squid, portion was very small for the price and tough. Meatballs wasn't very exiting as the small meatballs were covered with soggy chips topping... Watresses were trying to be helpful but timing was all wrong. We were very disappointed. I've spoken to the manager about our experience. Hope he would reflect this to improve the restaurant. I used to like this Tapas bar, but I don't think I'll come back again.

The food was very good and so the service, quick and attending. The imposed a £ 60 minimum spent as we were a group of 7 people, and this was not entirely clear at the time of the booking. Toward the end of the dinner, they came to us saying " you are £ 100 under your min spent" and thus we had to order more .... although not really much more hungry... Strange practice, particularly for a restaurant of that kind ... but to know and next time I will have to organise a group dinner elsewhere.

Haven't been here for ages - we live out of town...before, we used to come here and Cambio opposite quite often; so nice to come back to...great welcome; staff friendly, efficient and professional especially the girl who served us most and the Brazilian chap Really enjoyable evening; felt like we have never been away and the food was seriously good, as ever

Serving some of the best Spanish food - traditional and also innovative - in London but always holding into a down to earth, warm & welcoming atmosphere. Staff are professional, smart & skilled - as well as friendly and jovial. We returned this time with friends who had never been and they loved it. Had a great evening of delicious food (one guest was gluten free) & wine - plus a lot of fun

Another magnificent night at Tendido Cero where we gathered with old friends and had a feast. The food is amazing as always, the wine exquisite and the service impeccable. Very energetic vibe in the restaurant everyone chatting and laughing and having a great time. A bit of background live Spanish guitar to complement the scene. What could be better? Thanks again for a great evening.

I have gone to Tendido maybe 150 times in the last 8 years as I live very close by and it always satisfies. The staff are super friendly and attentive, the food arrives fast and is always fresh and the vibe is always happening with all kinds of ages and people. They will never give you a bad table if they can give you a better one. Not like those awful restaurants that “reserve” everything and give you a bad table and then no one uses the “reserved” tables. The quality of the food and service has been high and steady ever since we started going there. It’s a must if you’re in South Kensington!

4 of us enjoyed a very nice meal here, with a selection of 12 tapas dishes, the patates bravas and octopus were especially tasty, but really every dish was enjoyable as was the desert of lemon tart and coconut ice cream. The bill came to £324 including 2 bottles of wine and 3 deserts, so not cheap but good for a treat.

Great food, good service. Bad acoustics. You can’t hear the person next to you. Restaurants with similar problems have done well by installing a canopy of material (almost like a curtain) on the ceiling to absorb noise.

Our first visit to Tendido Cero and we were very impressed. Outstanding service, interesting menu choices and top quality food. There was a wide selection of vegan and vegetarian tapas dishes as well as fish and meat ones, and everything was beautifully prepared. Quite generous portions too. Buzzy atmosphere (restaurant was full on a Thursday evening and turning people away).

I haven't been to Tendido for some time, having moved out of the area. It didn't disappoint and was worth the trip back. Some great additions to the menu and reasonably priced for the quality of food, area and ambience. Highly recommend.

Beautifully prepared, imaginative tapas, made from top-class ingredients. The pace of service was excellent, the wine list comprehensive, and the temperature of the red wine was perfect, not always the case in restaurants nowadays. As it was a lunchtime in August it was fairly quiet but there was still a nice atmosphere.
