Very nice and clean. They have 30% off the signature specials as their 30th anniversary promotions, excellent deals. A glass of house wine also at special price of $6. Definitely worth giving them 20% tips as their staff and cook are attentive
arrive at 8:00pm wait about 10-15 mins to get ppl help me order food. After we ordered everything and 20 mins later they are telling me 75% of my orders placed has sold out. I ends up start to eat at 9pm. After one hour waiting, I end up eating chicken breast and 3 shrimps at a restaurant rate. Well we try to talk to the manager at 9 and they offer us to leave or give us a discount. 😂 she offer us leave at 9pm after one hour wait. This is bad! Basic principle to run the business, don’t sell the staff you don’t have and don’t waste your customer’s time. Don’t go there, they don’t even care about the customer! As an Asian, the food this very bad. This is a very fair review.
So entertaining every time we go. Great service and food.
All good. They did a great job with the whole COVID list of considerations, social distancing etc. Very comfortable, and having greatly reduced numbers in the restaurant made it so much better for conversation.
This was good choice!
Great restaurant for 50th anniversary! Enjoyed the food and experience!
It was the second time that I’ve visited this place, and it is awesome!
Will definitely come back in the future!
The Food was excellent. Watching the chef perform was very cool! Had never been to a Japanese restaurant, so didn’t know how quickly your meal came! Our pre dinner drink became desert.
Celebrating retirement, we arrived at 6 and were the first customers. Excellent
Fabulous food and great service. Friendly wait staff
Our server lacked social etiquette
The dinner show was mediocre
The whole experience paled in comparison to tempanyaki restaurants in Vancouver. I expected far better for Whistler.
Dinner and a show!
A little pricy, but it’s teppanyaki so I get it. Food was good. Cook was awesome. Would go back!
We went out as a family to Teppan village because we were on holidays and it’s our favourite place.
We have been to this style of restaurant before, overall it was ok. Food was tasty but we felt the overall value was average. Wishing we had found a patio dinner
Really like the beef. Staff are friendly. Overall great family experience.
Show was great. Chef was super cool!
Only getting a 4 for the service and she didn’t come around as much as I would have liked it. It was not busy and there was only 2 of us at the table.
Fun and entertaining dinner with performances that kept kids still and in their seats. Food was good and service was great.
The food was great but the portions were very small. I still felt very hungry after eatting my meal and I’m a very petite person.
So fun! We went for date night and had a great time. Sake :)
on time, good food and no issues getting a reservation
Let's just say, our minds were blown! haha. Great meal. The kids loved the show!
It was great to see the measures put in place during COVID. Food and show was great. A bit on the expensive side but overall great experience.
We have always loved the experience at Teppan Village!
Everything was amazing! We had yui as our chef and he was fantastic, my kids were scared of the fire but he was still lots of fun and Very accommodating to our needs
Great service and ambience. Portions were very small for the price. Food was fresh but not exceptionally tasty for the price. We enjoyed the “show” the chef put on while cooking our meat and veggies. Unfortunately we won’t return as we still felt hungry as we left the restaurant.
Because of Covid we had the whole table to ourselves which made it a little bit special our chef was very animated and our waiter was very attentive we were definitely go back
30th anniversary dinner was ok. We felt rushed to eat & get out. We ordered our first drinks at the beginning and the waitress never asked if we'd like to order more. No dessert options given. Don't recommend for special occasions.
It was a fantastic experience amd good value, the food was outstanding and the show was very entertaining
Not much flavor and not cooked properly.
Very salty food. Not as good service.
Overly priced food compared to where we eat Teppanyaki in Vancouver BC. My bf and I both left hungry still.
Everyone was very nice but expected more of a show during dinner and bigger portions with the price you pay.
Sadly won’t be going back!
We come here every year when we have a birthday to celebrate and this one was my sisters 21st birthday. It was awesome!! Currently due to COVID they DO NOT offer lobster however we settled for " the village " instead of " the emperor " and it was just as amazing. Our server was on point for timing and our cook was so energetic and funny. Overall great night, for three people it came to $300 with an 18 % tip included in that so I feel that was reasonable price for what we got!
Great food great service. Perfect for a family outing. Great entertainment value.
Compared to other Teppanyaki restaurants I’ve been to, I found Teppan Village to be quite overpriced, especially considering the small amount of food we received. The salad dressing and miso soup were both nice and the meat was cooked decently, but the prawns and scallops were slightly underdone and the sauces were merely average. The show was quite short and our dining experience felt rushed, even though we chose a later seating in order to enjoy a more leisurely dinner. I would be hard pressed to visit this establishment again - there are plenty of great restaurants to choose from in Whistler that are cheaper and tastier.
In and out under 30 min. Would have been nice to have the experience drawn out a bit longer
Birthday Dinner. Great food. Great service. Our favourite was the "Village" Signature Dinner.
Quantity of food for the price was not great.
For a family of four, this dinner was very expensive. The food was well prepared and very tasty but high on the price scale for what you get. You sit in a row with your group and it is impossible to socialize with each other. They cook the food table side and try to add some entertainment value to the experience. It was mediocre for us as our chef was turned towards the other family and it was very difficult for us to know what he was doing or to be able to see anything. The staff wear masks and did a good job of socially distancing groups.
