We enjoyed our whole experience - but particularly our Chef whose name we unfortunately we didn't get. Your servers and Chefs should wear name tags.
The food was average quality
Great dinner out - very fun dining atmosphere.
Our chef was amazing! He was entertaining and kind! The waitress, however, was quite abrupt and was rushing us to get out, which was disappointing.
The food was really good quality, but we felt that for the amount we received, the cost was pretty high. Although very nice, our cook wasn’t overly entertaining….the one at the next table was, which made us wish we were at the next table. Also, we were put at a table with small children which gave us a feeling of being seated at “the kiddie table”, vs an adult atmosphere. If we wanted to sit with children, we would spend 1/10 of the money we did and go to McDonalds. Overall, an ok experience but will probably not go back.
Took five 13 year olds for a bday celebration and Teppan Village didn’t disappoint! Great food and service!
It was great minus the server. She handed everyone their drinks with her fingers at the top of the glass. Salad and rice were handed to us with her fingers in the bowl and soup was handed to us just like the drinks. Even the beer was handed over with her hand at the mouth of the neck. I didn't eat my rice, soup, salad, drink my water or order a drink. That's terrible even when we're not in a pandemic. Besides her, it was a great experience. Our chef was amazing and the food he cooked was phenomenal.
Very disappointed with the lack of flavour in all our food. Service was unite good but food taste was very poor
Very fast service. In less then 1 hour, we had ordered, experience done, food cooked., eat, drank and paid.
Felt rushed out. Wanted to order more and they said it was not possible.
Quality meat and fish, nice ambiance a little pricy!
Excellent food at a reasonable price. It was a really enjoyable experience with the chef preparing the food right in front of you.
Great showmanship great food
Food and ambience are what one might expect from this style of Japanese restaurant. The downside is the degree to which diners are rushed. Despite receiving confirmation of a 90 minute seating, all our courses had been served and we were presented with the bill at the 46 minute mark. Not what one would expect / want when you are dropping a few hundred dollars for dinner.
The food was delicious and very entertaining!
Small portions, chef shows not great. Best of all my husband and I shared a portion of the meal and got violently ill soon after! The restaurant didn’t seem concerned……
Our experience at this restaurant was made good because of the service but I have to say that the food did not feel worth the price. My husband and I spent $200 there for what felt like a pretty average dinner. The service was really good and all the people were so friendly and accommodating but overall I would say the experience was average.
Excellent place for dinner. Went there for her birthday and service was great food was excellent and we had an incredible time. Very nicely social distanced. Because I had mentioned it was a birthday they even brought us dessert which was very nice and thoughtful.
Chef was very good, he made the experience fun. Food was so so. Maybe do fried rice instead and include ice cream.
So much fun always and food was delicious!
Service was quick and entertaining. We were able to get a reservation in the same day. Food was amazing too! Lots of variety to choose from.
Food has gone downhill. Steak is of lower quality, tough and chewy. Teppan village has been a go to destination for special occasion but this recent visit has been disappointing with the quality of food .
Was a great place to bring my daughter for her 8th birthday celebration!!! Ambiance was very friendly. Had a great interactive meal and at the end of it they brought her a special dessert and the whole restaurant joined in a rendition of Happy Birthday to her, made her feel super special.
Expensive for smaller cuts of meat but filling nonetheless
Very loud but expected for this kind of dining- makes it more fun!
Entertaining and delicious. Fun for the kids to watch. Loud but expected.
Fun place to eat. Our cook needed to engage us a little more! Would make a big difference for the experience.
Friendly service. Great show. Awesome food. Atmosphere is cheery.
Amazing experience, great sakè list. Try the Hakutsuru Junmai Ginjo 😎
Staff was friendly. Always fun to see your food being cooked in front of you. The Moscow mule was delicious!
One word - amazing! Everything was incredible. So beautiful to watch and be apart of. Thank you!
Really fun for family. Good kids menu. A bit pricey for the amount of food but the ambience and entertainment make it worth it.
Our reservation was late evening so restaurant was essentially empty so not much ambiance. Our server was not overly friendly and seemed annoyed with my gluten questions (I'm celiac). Food was disappointing and not very flavourful and doesn't compare to Kobe in vancouver. The chef was really kind and entertaining and was the best part of our experience.
Service was good but was not told about up charges to get friend rice instead of steamed$5.00
They do not cook the rice in front of you like at other places- it just gets dropped off so not worth the 5$ They also up charged for extra vegetables instead of rice. Overall a good experience but found it to be overpriced for what you get
Great value for money, food was awesome, and it's a fun dining experience.
A bit overpriced for the food you get
Great Restaurant, felt safe with safety protocols in place including seeing the manager wiping down menus…
Food was ok, cook was entertaining and engaged. Unfortunately we got the feeling that our server didn’t want to be there and her level of service was poor at best. Very over priced for what you get, likely won’t be back.
It a lot of food for price you pay. I suppose you’re paying to watch the chef entertain you with his cooking skills.
Steak was tough, cook forgot my chicken and my wifes shrimps. Menu was overpriced. Waitress was good
Portions are really small for the price
Watching the chefs is good, food tasteless and overpriced
